In the small town of Ponyville, things don't often happen at an incredibly interesting scale. Aside from a group of six friends, most of the locals don't really have an appetite for adventure, much preferring their quiet, quaint lives. That is, except for Shorthand, Ponyville's resident author.

Fed up with writing the adventures of others, she decides that she needs some first-hoof experience in the field. And she knows just how to do it.
