The Suffering of Kindness and Loyalty
PROLOGUE
Two Elements of Harmony Found Dead!
On June 4, 1003, the house of Fluttershy, the Element of Kindness,
was ablaze and the owner along with her best friend, Rainbow Dash,
the Element of Loyalty, were killed in the fire. This has been presumed
to be a first degree murder, as the cause of the flames was arson. Another
reason for this to be a murder is the iron head of a mallet that was found in
the wreckage. The head had been coated with dry, unharmed blood.
The detectives are baffled on why...
It wasn't supposed to happen. Not in the lovely, serene, kind town of Ponyville. Yes, there were other crimes committed by other individuals, but they were not as malevolent as the current incident.
The incident was something nopony expected. Equestria did not have a single murder since the Cult of Nightmare, which had been extinguished by Princess Celestia. It was a huge impact that caused major damage to the harmonic presence casted upon the ponies' hearts. Nothing was ever the same again. There were no more smiles or harmony in Ponyville and the citizens were thirsty for the murderer's blood. Once they find out who it is, they won't hesitate to kill him or her. That is how vicious and hostile most of the population had become. They were replaced by the hidden demons deep in their hearts, and in their eyes, you can see an endless sea of furious mortal sin and an empty, gazing abyss that stares into your soul making your spine turn cold at a brisk speed paralyzing you in the process.
Again, nothing was ever the same.
