The invite
The sun was about half way from being completely engulfed by the night. the sky was a dark gray with pinkish blotches here and there. The weather was freezing not counting the winter wonderland. Rainbow dash hated winter out of most seasons. According to her it just wasn't her thing. She sat on her cloud and watched as hundreds of pony's walked in groups of five to eight, into there houses for some hot coco and bonding time. As rainbow watched the last of the parents take there kids inside before they freeze to death she turned her head and was ready to forget her day and loose her self in a Dashie normal, wonderbolt adventure dream. Just before she dazed off into her mind she heard her name.
"RAINBOWDASH!" called a familiar voice. rainbow looked up to see derpy hooves with her retarded looking postal hat. "RAINBOWDASH!" she called again. rainbow dash decided to save derpy the hassle, she got up and flew to derpy's spot before she crashed into another cloud. "what happened derpy? did you drop an important package and need me to help you find it?" dash proclaimed. "actually no. i have a letter for ms.ramboo dish?" she said looking confused at the letters.
"Actually derpy, its Rainbow dash." rainbow said with a grin. "oh!" derpy replied handing the package over. before derpy flew away she yelled "Merry Christmas!" then she flew off to another house down the road. "I wonder who would send me a letter? matter of fact i should be getting tons of these. someone probably wants me to make there Christmas 20% cooler." She thought to her self. as she opened the letter she read
Dear Rainbow Dash,
This winter the girls and I are having a Christmas party. But it cant be complete without our rainbow. I am inviting you to come if you like. I know you aren't a Christmas person but maybe we can try and see what you can do. You obviously know where my house is. spike will be outside waiting for you if you decide to come.

When rainbow dash read the letter she sat there holding it. after about 2 minutes of hard thinking (witch is pretty impressive for Dashie) she got off her cloud and started flying to twilights house. of course she didn't land right in front. She wanted to make sure she didn't have any last thoughts. She turned the corner and saw spike sitting there lying down on the front porch looking up at the sky for her. Rainbow dash took a couple of steps into the light when she noticed spike jumping up very quick. "Rainbow Dash! finally i almost had to just go inside and bring out a candle to sit on for warmth. Twilight and the rest of them are inside!" spike said with some ease. Spike ran inside instantly and rainbow followed slowly behind. she sighed and began to walk into the warmth and comfort of her friends .

So your probably thinking. She is fine. her friends are there. and its Christmas. what could go wrong? Well rainbow dash can explain exactly what can go wrong. As she walked inside her friends greeted her with hugs and warmth. pinkie greeted her with party invitations for next Christmas. "Thanks, I guess?" She said to pinkie. after they all welcomed dashie they all came together and just talked and ate holiday food. "Rainbow Dash why don't you tell one of your scary stories!" Pinkie Pie insisted. "are you sure? I don't want to scare the pink out of you pinkie!" Rainbow dash replied. "Its fine dashie. it will just grow back!" Pinkie said. "I think that may be scarier then one of my stories to see." Dash thought. "Ok here we go. It was a night like this. friends and family's gathered With each other to get to know each other better or to hang out. But one pony was left alone. haunted by the holidays from her Fillie Hood. She sat there waiting for it to end. on her cloud. But she noticed something. A pony was wondering around on his own. she was concerned and went after the little fillie to see what was wrong. Excuse me? are you lost? she asked. the fillie stopped and stood still. The fillie didn't move for at least 5 minutes until its head started turning slowly back. Lost? Lost? why would I be lost. I'm just looing for a mid night snack! the fillie screamed it turned around and at the sight of its face the pony jumped back. the fillie's jaw was falling off and it had cuts all around it's eye's. one of its eyes were gone and the other was black as the night. her skin was pale with blood all around it dripping onto the snow. it had several rows of teeth used to cut open throats of her enemy's. her mouth opened very wide enough that her falling off jaw started to cringe and the sides of her mouth pealed open so her muscle was the only thing showing. The pony decided to run and run. when she looked back the monster was gone. SOMEONE HELP ME!! the pony shouted. No one heard her except for one pony. or afillie. the beast from before came out of an ally way in front of her. In life there are accidents. and when one causes accidents the guilt follows. until it creates fear. once done the fear makes a mold of its self to haunt its creator. and makes its creator 'disappear'. The fillie said. After her little speech the towns people heard a scream. and no one heard anything from that pony again." Rainbow dash finished. Pinkie pie laughed. I see now. the fillie didn't get any cupcakes for desert so it killed the lonely pony. rainbow dashie your story's amaze me! it brings out a new side of me." pinkie said. rainbow dash sat there and starred at pinkie for a hole 2 minutes. "Ok?" dash finally said.
