Book 2 in my Dr Whooves series. Pinkie Pie has an odd collection. When she discovers her snowglobes can lead to other universes, the Doctor and his companion come to help. The Doctors morals will be tested, and Pinkie Pie discovers that some things even she finds hard to believe.

In the blizzard

Ditzy flapped her wings madly. She didn't know where she was or how she got there or how much time had passed. She felt like she was snow blind with the whiteness that surrounded her. She kept flying, for there was nothing but a white void below her. She called out to the only stallion she knew who could help her.
"DOCTOR! DOCTOR IT'S DITZY! HELP!!" Ditzy screamed until her voice was reduced to a whimper.
"Anypony..." whispered Ditzy. At Sugarcube Corner, Pinkie cocked her head when she heard a mare's scream for a doctor. Was she sick? Injured? Did she need help? Pinkie's thoughts were interrupted by a strange sound. A sound like a steam engine wheezing if a steam engine were ever to wheeze. Pinkie's short attention span caused her to abandon the screams from the snow globes and investigate the sound. She walked outside to see a small blue box.
"Woah!" exclaimed Pinkie. She inspected the box carefully.
"A police public call box? What's a police public call box?" asked Pinkie to no one in particular. Eventually, her curiousity got the better of her. She put a hoof on the box and tried to open the doors. They were unlocked. She stepped inside to see a chestnut colored earth pony fiddling with high tech devices. He didn't seem to notice Pinkie.
'This box must belong to him.' thought Pinkie. Pinkie smiled and trotted over to say hello.
"Hiya!!!" said Pinkie. The stallion leaped back in surprise. This mare literally appeared out of nowhere.
"My name's Pinkie Pie! Say, what's your name? Because I know EVERYPONY'S name but I don't know your's!" said Pinkie. The stallion stared at Pinkie
"I'm the Doctor." said the Doctor. Pinkie giggled.
"Oooooh, you're British! 'Ello govner!" said Pinkie. She continued speaking, literally bouncing off walls and teleporting as she talked.
"Wait...Doctor? I've never heard of you...*LE GASP* which means you must be new! Which MEANS I need to sing my welcome song to you!" babbled Pinkie. Before the Doctor could even open his mouth to protest, Pinkie had already began to sing.
"Welcome, welcome, you must be new, you're a pony I never knew I never knew! But that's ok, you're here today, to have a Pinkie Pie party with Pinkie Pie, HOORAY!" Pinkie sang happily. At the end of her song she pulled out a cannon out of nowhere and shot balloons and confetti everywhere. The Doctor stared at her speechless and picked a piece of confetti out of his mane.
"Well, what did you think?" asked Pinkie, looking up at the Doctor with big adorable eyes.
"I think you just broke physics." said the Doctor. Pinkie giggled insanely.
"Physics? Buck physics I'm Pinkie Pie!" said Pinkie.
"Right..." replied the Doctor. Pinkie looked around.
"Wait...." said Pinkie suspiciously. She dashed outside, inspected the box and rushed back in.
"Well?" asked the Doctor hopefully. Pinkie shrugged.
"Meh, seems normal." said Pinkie. The Doctor's jaw went slack.
"We're simply in another dimension hyper linked to our dimension. This is a TARDIS...oooh, Gallifreyan! Isn't that interesting? Why are you shocked?" asked Pinkie. She turned to face her "imaginary" audience, breaking the fourth wall.
"Gee, you'd think a stallion would know how his own ship works, am I right???"

Chapter 2 complete. So...Matt Smith is gone. I'm crying on my bed while clutching my sonic screwdriver and stroking my 50th anniversary DVD...I'M IN A GLASS CASE OF EMOTION!!!!!

The Doctor stomped his hoof defiantly.
" I know a lot more about the TARDIS than YOU!" said the Doctor. Pinkie giggled.
"Are you suuuuure ya wanna bet on that?" asked Pinkie. The Doctor nodded vigorously with a look of sheer determination on his face.
"I bet you don't know what all those buttons do!" said the Doctor. Pinkie smirked.
"Let's see...ok! This one does classic, this does sophisticated, this goes ding, this one does WOW! And this one does CHOCOLATE RAIN!!!!" Pinkie flicked a switch and opened her mouth wide as a shower of chocolate milk slid down her throat. She licked her lips and smiled. The Doctor stood speechless.
"Well...I...didn't know it could do that." said the Doctor. Pinkie suddenly popped up in front of him.
"That will be 500 bits please!" said Pinkie Pie cheerfully. The Doctor stared at her.
"No, no, out! Out! How did you even get in here?" asked the Doctor, irritated.
"Because I'm PINKIE PIE!" said Pinkie. The Doctor rolled his eyes. Yes, that was a perfectly logical answer.
"You're from Ponyville, right?" asked the Doctor. Pinkie nodded with a ridiculous grin on her face.
"Have you seen a mare called Ditzy Doo by any chance? I'll never let her wander off by herself again..." The Doctor muttered the last part and turned to the party mare hopefully. Pinkie thought about it.
"Ditzy Doo? Never heard of her." said Pinkie. The Doctor's face fell.
"Are you sure? She's a grey pegasus with a blonde mane and gold eyes, the eyes are a little...off. She has bubbles on her rump and she...loves muffins?" said the Doctor. Pinkie nodded.
"Ooooooh, you mean DERPY! No, haven't seen her around." said Pinkie. The Doctor cocked his head.
"What does..."derp" mean?" asked the Doctor. Pinkie shrugged.
"Nopony knows. But it's a silly word isn't it?" Pinkie laughed.
"Whatever, the point is I need to find her!" said the Doctor. Pinkie's face fell and she had a sudden realization.
"Um...did you say your name is "Doctor"?" asked Pinkie.
"Yeah, why?" replied the Doctor. Pinkie started to sweat.
"Ummm...you miiight want to follow me." said Pinkie and she trotted off. The Doctor shrugged and followed her. Inside the blizzard, Ditzy struggled to keep her balance. She kept flapping until she thought her wings would fall off. She pushed away a thin layer of cloud and basked in the slight rise in temperature. She felt as close to the sky as she would ever be. She gave one more weak cry for the Doctor and then flapped harder. She couldn't take anymore. At Sugarcube Corner Pinkie walked up to the snow globe she had heard the screams from. She leaned in and squinted her eyes as she looked closely into the dome. She leaned back in shock and trembled.
"Doctor...can you describe Derpy again?" asked Pinkie. Part of her knew what was happening but she didn't want to accept it. The Doctor cocked his head and described his companion. Pinkie gulped.
"I think I found her."

Pinkie handed the Doctor the snowglobe with a shaky hoof. He stared at it for a while, looking as if he were solving a puzzle. He outstretched a hoof to Pinkie.
"Stand back." said the Doctor.
"Why?" asked Pinkie. The Doctor turned to look at her.
"Because there's going to be a lot of shrapnel." said the Doctor. Then he flung the snowglobe to the ground.

Ditzy had stopped flapping and relied on gliding to keep her flying. She heard a noise like ice cracking and she looked up to see that the heavens were shattering like glass. The sky was falling. There was a blinding light and Ditzy blacked out. When she regained consciousness she didn't open her eyes. She could smell cakes and pies so she knew she was in Sugarcube Corner. She could feel a hoof trying to shake her awake. Her head was pounding and she was pretty sure she had a wingboner. But at least she knew where she was. She let herself slip back into unconsciousness. She had another nightmare.

Ditzy saw a unicorn mare trotting down a long hallway. Her coat was a soft silver and her mane was a darker silver with a streak of gold. Her eyes were an electric blue and they were absolutely striking. She looked strong and powerful. She walked with pride. She flinched only for a second when a shadow jumped out at her. Though she had to look up to meet the gaze of the unicorn stallion, she still wore a dignified look on her face.
"Oh Doctor, please do not try to frighten me. It's not very polite, now is it?" said the unicorn with a tone of voice like steel. Doctor Ocarina smirked.
"What's the matter Silver Soul? Can't sleep?" asked Ocarina softly. Silver Soul peered at him suspiciously, but his soul seemed neutral.
"No." said Silver flatly. Ocarina chuckled.
"Why don't you come help me in my office?" asked Ocarina. Silver Soul shrugged.
"Sure, why not?" said Silver Soul. She tried to sound bored but Ocarina could tell she was bursting with excitement. This poor mare thinks she will do good for Equestria. No, scratch that. She thought she would LIVE to see herself do good for Equestria. Ocarina led her to his office and closed the door behind her. Silver Soul didn't even notice that Ocarina locked it.
"THIS is your office?" asked Silver. It looked more like a twisted dentist office. There were blood stains on the white tile floor. Silver Soul started to sweat. Behind his glasses, Ocarina's eyes widened in anticipation. His soul could no longer remain placid. Malice churned beneath a poker face Ocarina always wore. Silver Soul could see right through it all. She saw the malice, the hunger, and her instincts screamed at her to get away. She jiggled the door to find it locked. Ocarina laughed maniacally and Silver Soul's strength and pride disintegrated as her eyes widened in fear. Ocarina smiled wide and edged closer to Silver.
"So it IS true! You CAN read souls. Nopony realizes my true intentions until it's too late! Of course, it's too late for you as well." Ocarina laughed and punched the lights out of Silver Soul. When she woke up, she found herself strapped to a table. Her limbs were not strapped down. She felt dizzy, and put a hoof to her forehead. She foze. She couldn't feel a horn. Silver examined her hoof and found it damp and bloody. Silver trembled as she heard Ocarina's voice.
"You're magic is very powerful. You're the only pony I know who can read souls, and so I think to myself...'what if everypony had this lovely power?' Unfortunately, to accomplish this, I needed to remove your horn." said Ocarina. Silver Soul trembled and gulped. She felt like her belly was filled with a pile of jagged stones.
"Of course, your horn is not enough. I will also need your brain." said Ocarina calmly. Silver Soul screamed and thrashed around.
"DOCTOR, NO! GET AWAY! GET AWAY! AHHHHHH!" screamed Silver. A probe inching closer to her head was the last thing Silver Soul ever saw.

Ditzy's eyes snapped open. Pinkie Pie, who previously had a hoof on Ditzy's shoulder leaped back in surprise. Ditzy looked around. She was in Sugarcube Corner with Pinkie Pie and...
"Doctor..." moaned Ditzy. The Doctor rushed to her side.
"Sssh, shhh, don't overwork yourself." said the Doctor softly. Ditzy pulled herself up and wrapped her hooves around the Doctor's neck. She gasped for air and struggled to keep her balance.
"Doctor...what happened?" asked Ditzy, shaken. The Doctor stood still and let Ditzy hold on to him for support.
"I believe you were momentarily trapped in another universe." whispered the Doctor. Ditzy gasped softly. She was trembling and drenched in sweat.
"But you saved me right?" said Ditzy. The Doctor nodded and pulled Ditzy closer.
"Of course I saved you. I'll always save you. You're my companion, the only one I have. My one and only friend in this universe, my one and only..." said the Doctor. He held Ditzy close to him as if she were as fragile as a china doll and would shatter to a million pieces if he let her go. She would shatter. Ditzy was crying and Pinkie was staring dumbfounded. The Doctor led Ditzy to the only bed he could find and laid her down gently. Pinkie Pie was waiting for him when he came back.
"You have to have friends. Nopony is truly without friends. And in all the UNIVERSE, Doctor!" said Pinkie. The Doctor shook his head
"One friend in YOUR universe. My universe burned a long time ago. Everything must come to an end, even the good things...but...I hate endings." the Doctor said solemnly. Pinkie Pie put a hoof on his shoulder.
"When I don't want a story to end, I write my own chapters." said Pinkie. The Doctor looked at her with piercing eyes.
"I've been known to do that. But not every chapter is published." said the Doctor. Pinkie nodded firmly.
"Then you make it the best damn chapter you can write." said Pinkie. The Doctor chuckled. They spent a while studying eachother. Both ponies saw the other as quite a fascinating specimen.
"Does she really mean that much to you?" asked Pinkie. The Doctor leaned back, shocked.
"Of course!" said the Doctor.
"Ponies lie to themselves all the time. How do you know you really care?" asked Pinkie. The Doctor solemnly said,
"I know because I just killed thousands of ponies to reach her"

Ditzy sat on her bed sobbing. She heard a soft knock on the door and spun around angrily.
"Don't come in! I don't want to see you!" shouted Ditzy.
"Well I don't give a buck!" said the Doctor. He swung the door open and leaped in the room with a big grin on his face. He laid his eyes on Ditzy and grew serious. Ditzy snorted.
"I'm retarted. I should have locked the damn door." grumbled Ditzy. She did not make eye contact with the Doctor.
"I'm sorry to tell you that even time travel has rules. If your death really was a fixed point in time who do you think I would pick, you or the entire universe?" asked the Doctor a bit bitterly. Ditzy's eyes widened. She suddenly felt a little selfish.
"You just killed thousands of ponies somewhere in the universe and yet you don't bat an eye. How could you remain this calm when you killed thousands of intelligent beings?" asked Ditzy.
"I've killed trillions of intelligent beings." said the Doctor. Ditzy gasped.
"Surely not on purpose!" said Ditzy. The Doctor shook his head.
"Of course not! I'm a doctor not a murderer. But even the best doctor can't save all his patients. I can't save every universe, every starship, every planet, every companion." said the Doctor trying to keep his eyes from moistening. Ditzy put a hoof on his shoulder.
"You're only pony." said Ditzy. The Doctor chuckled.
"No. No, I'm afraid that's not a very good excuse for me." said the Doctor. There was a cry of pain from downstairs and both ponies were quickly on their hooves.
"Pinkie Pie!" gasped Ditzy. They rushed downstairs to see Pinkie clutching the wall drenched in sweat.
"Pink pony! Are you ok?" asked the Doctor.
"Fine, fine. Oh, I haven't done this in quite a while." said Pinkie. She grabbed her gut and fell to the floor. Ditzy ran to her.
"NO! Stay back!" yelled Pinkie. Ditzy shrunk back as Pinkie began coughing a thin golden mist. Her hooves became enveloped in golden aura and she clenched them into fists. She tilted her head back and the room erupted into golden light. It was too bright, and Ditzy shut her eyes. When she opened them Pinkamena Diane Pie was gone. In her place stood a white pegasus mare. She had a mane like Pinkie's but it was blonde. She had deep purple eyes and a satisfied smirk.
"Surprise." said the mare. Her voice was sauve and soothing, and yet it was a voice that sounded like it could belong to the most dangerous mare in Equestria. The Doctor stood speechless and dumbfounded. The mare giggled and said,
"Hello sweetie."

"Oh, this mane, this MANE! It's perfect! This is so much better! I swear I had the attention span of a fly and my voice made me want to shoot myself whenever I opened my mouth which was nothing compared to the fact I never seemed to want to SHUT UP! Oh, wings too! That's certainly a plus!" crowed the mare who had taken the place of Pinkie Pie. She was looking in a mirror and playing with her mane. The Doctor stared at her.
"R-River?" asked Doctor. River rolled her eyes.
"No. Princess Luna. Of course it's me! Did you not notice the hourglass on my ass?" River turned to reveal an hourglass cutie mark. The mark of timelords. Or in this case, a pony/timelord hybrid.
"I'm sure he didn't take the time to stare at your flank while he was talking to you!" Ditzy blurted out. River snickered.
"Oh no? Sheesh, what kind of husband ARE you?" said River. Ditzy's entire body tensed.
"I-I'm sorry, just who are you?" asked Ditzy. River shook Ditzy's hoof.
"I'm River Song, the Doctor's wife." said River. The Doctor buried his face in his hooves. This was playing out like a cheesy soap opera. Ditzy shook all over and gulped.
"You're a very lucky mare." said Ditzy with all the sincerity in the Equestria. She nodded at River then stomped up to the Doctor and slapped him straight across the face. The Doctor put a hoof on his cheek and swallowed down a cry of pain.
"HOW CAN YOU NOT TELL ME YOU HAVE A WIFE?!" screamed Ditzy. The Doctor stepped back.
"Hey, I thought she was DEAD!" said the Doctor.
"Well since I now know I have absolutely NO chance with you, let's just kiss right now since it's NEVER gonna happen. Or suppose it's a "fixed point in time!" Ditzy ranted, blind with emotion. She pinned the Doctor against the wall and kissed him right in front of River. River just smiled, which irked Ditzy.
"I'm beginning to question your loyalty to me, Doctor." said River. Ditzy glared at River and stormed down to the basement.

Ditzy sat down in the basement. She was too angry to cry. She was angry with herself for being so soft. In reality she had no chance with this stallion, but she refused to accept it, which made it all the more painful. She heard a voice from a distance.
"Experiment 101285. You are experiment 101285." said the voice. She jumped to her hooves and looked around but the only other living thing in the room was Gummy the pet alligator. It stared at her with cold reptilian eyes. Ditzy shuddered. Animals always hated Ditzy. She remembered the time she delivered a package to Fluttershy's cottage. All the animals had attacked her and the bunny would have surely bit into a vein if Fluttershy hadn't pried him off Ditzy's neck. Gummy kept his icy gaze on Ditzy, and if looks could kill then Ditzy would have been nothing but a cold corpse.
"Experiment 101285. You are experiment 101285." said the voice. Ditzy looked at Gummy and froze. Something was translating him for Ditzy.
"You are a danger to Equestria. You are an abomination. You must be killed." said Gummy without moving his lips. Ditzy broke out in sweat.
"Wh-what? I Iove Equestria! It's my home, why would I be a danger to it?" Whispered Ditzy, feeling a bit silly she was talking to a baby alligator.
"You are an abomination. You must be killed." said Gummy.
"I-I don't understand!" breathed Ditzy.
"You must be killed." said Gummy.
"Please..." whispered Ditzy.
"ABOMINATION ABOMINATION ABOMINATION ABOMINATION ABOMINATION ABOMINATION" said Gummy.
"No! Please! Stop!" said Ditzy trying not to scream. Gummy said one more thing before he went silent.
"You will kill the Doctor." said Gummy. Ditzy grabbed the kitchen knife lying on the table and swiftly stabbed Gummy 7 times in the throat.

Author's Note

Well that escalated quickly. Oh yeah I meant to put this in the story but too lazy to fix it. River is River not Pinkie. She just regenerated to look and act a lot like Pinkie. Regeneration is a beautiful thing, no? Pinkie is visiting her sisters. River knows a lot of stuff cus she went to her friends and asked them to tell her about their adventures that she can write down because her sisters "love hearing the tales of Ponyville" hope this answers some questions.

"Ditzy? Ditzy, what's wrong?!" asked the Doctor as he trotted downstairs. River followed him and her eyes widened when she saw the bloody alligator and Ditzy holding a knife painted with red.
"Oh dear Celestia..." muttered River. Ditzy panted.
"Ditzy...what did you do?" asked the Doctor surprisingly calmly. Ditzy shook all over. She felt guilt gnawing at her insides.
"I-I don't know h-he st-started talking and I-I just went crazy, I'm sorry! I really don't know..." said Ditzy, trailing off because she knew she couldn't go as far as telling the Doctor about experiment 101285.
"The TARDIS? If not that what else..." mumbled the Doctor. River looked at the dead reptile one more time. Ditzy was surprised she couldn't see a look of disgust on River's lovely face.
"I think River and I have some talking to do. Just stay here and calm down, ok?" said the Doctor. Ditzy nodded solemnly, not meeting the Doctor's eyes. She wallowed in her sorrow and stared at the dead alligator corpse. Tiny flickers of ember rose above Gummy's body, the fireplace warmed his body but was careful not to burn it. And Ditzy was left in the cold, just like always. Just like always.

"First of all, you were not alive, so how are you here now?" asked the Doctor firmly. River merely smiled sweetly.
"Please, do you think I was STUPID enough to not consider alternate universes? I did the old earring trick and got myself a free wormhole generator." said River smugly. The Doctor smiled.
"You are brilliant." said the Doctor. River smirked.
"When your husband lives for thousands of years, a mare's gotta improvise." said River. The Doctor frowned.
"But you regenerated. I thought you used up all of them." said the Doctor. River shrugged.
"I honestly don't know. I guess when I came here I got fresh ones." said River. The Doctor nodded.
"So how are you...adjusting to Equestria?" asked the Doctor.
"Quite well, actually! Life as a pony is pretty fun, actually. These wings will take some getting used to, and I never expected YOU being here!" said River. The Doctor sighed.
"I'm still getting used to the "magical small horses talking" thing." said the Doctor. River gave him a sympathetic look.
"Then why don't you go home?" asked River softly.
"There's no home to go back to. That universe burnt out and there was nothing I could do. Pity. I rather liked that universe..." said the Doctor glumly.
"Oh, sweetie, of course. Now I remember you saying this to me before I regenerated...I'm sorry." said River.
"And what about Ditzy? I can't leave her. Do you think she's alright?" said the Doctor. River rolled her eyes.
"She stabbed a baby alligator to death. I most certainly do not think she's alright!" said River.
"I'm going to check on her." said the Doctor. He began to trot downstairs and River followed him.

Ditzy sat in the basement crying. What had she done? What would she tell Pinkie? Part of Ditzy just wanted to stick her head through a noose and end it. If she really was as blood thirsty as she proved herself to be she would be doing Equestria a huge favor. There was a rattling sound coming from a shelf. She turned around and gasped. There was a shelf full of snowglobes and the shelf was shaking dangerously. One of the snowglobes was pushed off the shelf. It was going to shatter. Ditzy dove after it and soon held it safely in her hooves. She peered curiously into the snowglobe to see what kind of universe she had just saved. Ditzy froze and nearly dropped the dome. Inside the snowglobe was a miniature Itex. Ditzy trembled and stared at the place that haunted her nightmares. She could almost smell the bleachy scent of chemicals and anti septics. She could hear the screams of the ponies who were murdered there. The screams of Bonnabelle Liberty, who had her eyes blown out of her head, and Silver Soul, who had a special gift and was rewarded with her brain being dissected. Ditzy shuddered, then she remembered something. This place was in HER mercy. A look of pure fury could be seen in her crooked eyes. This PLACE was an abomination. Not her. NOT her. She held the dome up and was about to throw it to the ground. Then she heard a scream.
"STOP!!!" yelled the voice. It was the Doctor. Ditzy snapped out of her blind rage.
"D-Doctor? I-I..." stammered Ditzy. The Doctor put a hoof on her shoulder and took the snowglobe.
"Have you forgotten that Itex is in this universe?! A different time, yes, but still this universe!" said the Doctor. Ditzy trembled. River cocked her head.
"Who crafted these in the first place? And why did they make our universe a place that must be horrible since it traumatized that poor mare so much?" asked River. Ditzy gritted her teeth. She did not want to be referred to as a "poor mare".
"It almost seems like someone's trying to manipulate her to kill..." said the Doctor. Ditzy gulped. Why did she suddenly have such blood lust? And why was there a burning desire inside her to smash the dome into a million tiny pieces and watch Equestria burn?

"No no no, this is getting too dangerous, Doctor we have to do something!" said River. The Doctor paced around the room. Ditzy hung her head.
"Um...I'm sorry I almost...killed us all..." muttered Ditzy. The Doctor gave Ditzy a reassuring pat on the back.
"We all make mistakes!" said the Doctor. River smirked and Ditzy cringed.
"Why don't you clean the dead alligator thing. We can tell Pink Pony it died of pneumonia or something." said the Doctor. Ditzy nodded.
"River and I will figure something out. Right, River?" said the Doctor. River smiled.
"We always do." said River. The two trotted away, leaving one dead organism and one living organism who desperately wanted to be dead.

Ditzy cleaned the blood off Gummy and mended the scar on his throat. It was impossible to cover. Ditzy never thought she was capable of such damage. Would she do this to somepony she liked out of a blind rage? She shuddered. She couldn't face Pinkie. Couldn't lie about Gummy. Couldn't be her friend anymore. No. She would have to leave that up to River Song. Of course. River was a sly, gorgeous devil of a mare who could leave the toughest stallion in tears. If Ditzy were half the mare River was all the colts would be lining up for a mere peck on the cheek. But Ditzy was not half the mare River was. Ditzy was a crooked blood thirsty abomination.

"River, what are we going to do?" asked the Doctor.
"We need to find a way to protect these snowglobes so nopony can go near them!" said the Doctor.
"Why don't we just use magic?" asked River like it was the most obvious thing in the world. The Doctor cocked his head and River rolled her eyes.
"Have you forgotten about the unicorns in Equestria? Oh Doctor, how can you forget the unicorns?" said River. The Doctor's face lit up.
"You're sooo brilliant." whispered the Doctor. He leaned in and kissed River quickly, leaving River blushing.
"Oh my...you haven't done that in a while..." muttered River, her white face now a rouge pink. The Doctor snickered and trotted away.

Ditzy sat still, mourning Gummy until a sudden burst if sound made her jump. It was the Doctor.
"Ditzy, I need the address of that purple nerd girl, stat!" said the Doctor.

Ditzy, the Doctor and River galloped to the Tree Library Thing. Inside the library, Twilight was peacefully reading a book with Owlowicious at her side. Spike waddled downstairs holding a mug of hot cocoa he had prepared for his caretaker. Twilight said her thanks and used her magic aura to take the cocoa away from her #1 assistant. She took a sip and she smiled as a soothing warmth settled in her belly and she felt more relaxed.
"Wow, Spike! This hot cocoa is delicious! How do you manage to do it?" asked Twilight, clearly impressed. Spike smirked. He had been waiting for a chance to say this for a while now. He bowed down.
"Just as you see, m'lady...I'm merely one HELL of a butler." said Spike. Twilight smiled and rolled her eyes. Spike snickered and snuggled with Twilight and Owlowicious. Then the door swung open. Twilight stared as she saw two mares and another pony who she recognized as quite a seductive stallion

The new companion

The pleasant feeling in Twilight's stomach had gone away as she stared at the chestnut colored stallion.
"Wh-what are you doing here? Who's this?" asked Twilight. River shook Twilight's hoof.
"I'm River Song, the Doctor's wife." said River. Twilight bit her lip and Spike stood up and slowly approached the mysterious stallion. The Doctor felt a small bit of pressure on his legs, and looked down to see the baby dragon prodding him with a claw, as if he were an agitated zoo animal who would attack. The Doctor smiled softly and knelt down so he was at eye level with the little dragon. Spike stood his ground and seemed to study the Doctor.
"Who are you?" asked Spike.
"I'm the Doctor." the British stallion replied. Spike seemed quite pleased with his accent.
"Doctor..." Spike began to say. Owlowicious fluttered down to Spoke and perched on his arm.
"Who!" hooted Owlowicious. The Doctor smiled and Spike cocked his head curiously.
"Why is your cutie mark an hourglass?" asked Spike.
"Because I travel through time with my companions." said the Doctor. Spike's face brightened.
"That's so cool! Hey, can I be your companion?" asked Spike. The Doctor laughed and ruffled Spike's scales.
"Maybe someday." said the Doctor. Then something in Twilight snapped. She was not going to let this strange stallion take her Spike away, no matter HOW hot he is!
"That's enough. What do you want?" asked Twilight.
"I want you to follow us to Sugarcube Corner, pronto! Allons-y!" said the Doctor. He rushed out the door and the two mares followed him.
"W-wait for me!" Whinnied Twilight. She rushed out the door leaving one owl and one baby dragon. Spike sighed and put his head in his claws.
"Doctor who?" murmured Spike.
"Who?" hooted the owl.
"That's what I just-" Spike narrowed his eyes.

Twilight followed the three ponies all the way to the sweet shop at high speed, and was now gasping for air.
"This...this had better be important!" panted the purple alicorn. The three looked at eachother and nodded vigorously. Twilight was lead to the room with the snowglobes and she gasped.
"So beautiful!" exclaimed Twilightt in awe. She outstretched a hoof to touch it, but the Doctor lightly slapped it away.
"No touch. If one of these things shatters then a universe out in space goes ka-boom." said the Doctor. Twilight looked shocked.
"If they're that important, I can teleport them to the Tree of Harmony and cast a protection spell which should keep them safe for now." said Twilight.
"I have no idea what that is but do it." said the Doctor. Twilight nodded and cast the spell. Everyone thanked her and she rushed home to get to Spike. Everypony was calm until they heard a high pitched voice.
"What are you doing in my house?" asked a certain pink pony. The Doctor jumped.
"Ah! Hello! Welcome back?" said the Doctor awkwardly.
"Hello! Now where's Gummy? I want to say hello and hug him cus I missed him SO much!" chattered Pinkie. Ditzy cringed. She retrieved the dead alligator corpse and presented it to Pinkie. Pinkie gasped.
"Wh-what happened?" stuttered Pinkie.
"Um...pneumonia?" Ditzy lied. Pinkie's expression softened.
"It's ok Derpy, you don't have to lie! Gummy bullied you and called you names so you got frustrated and stabbed him! It's fine! Happens to everypony!" said Pinkie. She sounded happy but Ditzy swore she saw her mane flatten a bit and her pupils drift apart a couple centimeters. It disturbed Ditzy that pinkie wasn't saddened over the loss of her pet. But the Doctor knew she merely couldn't comprehend it yet, and wanted to get out of there before she could. So he trotted to the TARDIS knowing the mares would follow him.
"Another day, another adventure! And as for you River..." The Doctor took River's hoof and smiled.
"Will you come with us?" asked the Doctor. River nodded and they entered the TARDIS. Ditzy smiled, and wondered where the Doctor would take her next.

An odd collection

Pinkie Pie bounced around Sugarcube Corner happily.
"Gummy! Wanna see what Rarity gave me??" asked Pinkie. Gummy merely blinked a couple of times in response. Pinkie Pie held out an intricatly designed snowglobe. Inside the glass dome was a snow covered village. Little fillies played in the snow while miniature pegasi cleared the clouds. They were designed to look like they could prance around and Pinkie smiled. Leave it to Rarity to find such a beautiful object. Pinkie was surprisingly careful and docile while holding the fragile dome. She placed it on her back and carefully walked towards the stairs that led to the bottom of the sweet shop. She carefully placed it on the shelf with the other snowglobes. A tiny bit of fear creeped into Pinkie's soul. She heard screaming again. Not a bloodcurling scream, but a small scream, like that a butterfly would make if a butterfly were ever to scream. It had happened a week ago in the Everfree Forest. She found a snowglobe on the ground and brought it back to her collection. That's when the screaming started. She squinted into the globes, as if checking to see that the tiny ponies inside remained motionless. The one the scream emanated from was impossible to look into. There was an endless flurry of white, as if a miniature storm was actually wreaking havoc inside the dome. Pinkie Pie remained silent, an amazing feat for her. She heard the scream again, clearer this time. She could hear a mare screaming from inside the dome. Pinkie cocked her head. She was screaming for a doctor.

"Excuse me?!" Ditzy's voice rang out from upstairs. Ditzy trotted downstairs. The Doctor stood his ground.
"What do you mean you killed thousands of ponies to reach me? Explain yourself Doctor!" said Ditzy angrily. Pinkie stared straight ahead. The Doctor swallowed with more effort than usual.
"Ditzy, shouldn't you be resting?" asked the Doctor trying not to stutter. Ditzy stood there and stared at him fiercely.
"Clearly you underestimate me, I can get back on my hooves when I want to, I'm not as fragile as you may think now Doctor, explain!" said Ditzy trying not to tremble.
"Um, well, uh, you see...I, um..." said the Doctor failing to suppress a stutter. Ditzy walked up to the Doctor and slapped him straight across the face. Pinkie gasped and the Doctor just put a hoof to his face.
"Ow! Ok, ok, mind the face! Still got a while till I get a new one!" The Doctor muttered. Ditzy didn't budge and raised her hoof to hit him again but she ceased and tried to keep herself from spilling the tears that threatened to make her look weak.
"That snowglobe was a portal to another universe it's almost like a, a, a cosmic crystal ball! When I smashed it to let you out...I may have killed everypony else living in that universe. Not to mention...every other living creature there. If I were to take the TARDIS right there right now it would not be there. Just empty space." said the Doctor.
"May? Did you or did you not kill them?" asked Ditzy. The Doctor coughed.
"I definitely killed them. For you." said the Doctor. Tears streamed down Ditzy's face.
"Are you insane?! You should've taken the TARDIS!" screamed Ditzy.
"I COULDN'T! Do you honestly think I would reach you in time? You were freezing to death!" said the Doctor. Ditzy shook her head.
"No. You didn't do it for me. I can tell. Where is the passion in your eyes? You didn't do it for me. Why did you do it?" asked Ditzy. The Doctor looked at her blankly.
"Ditzy, I-" the Doctor started to say.
"WHY DID YOU DO IT?!" shouted Ditzy. The Doctor shifted.
"Because it was a fixed point in time. That universe had to go. No matter who destroyed it or what the reason was, it had to go." said the Doctor. Ditzy's eyes widened.
"You didn't do it for me. So, if I had to die...if it was a "fixed point in time" would you let me die?" asked Ditzy softly.
"Ditzy..." whispered the Doctor.
"WOULD YOU?!" shouted Ditzy.
"I...I would have to, yes." said the Doctor. Ditzy gasped.
"DO I MEAN NOTHING TO YOU?!" cried Ditzy. She ran upstairs and slammed the door. She sobbed. Her doctor was just like Ocarina. Her doctor would kill her without a second thought. Her doctor would kill anypony without a second thought.
