Every soldier sighed in relief. Derpy could go back to eating muffins and-

A baby dragon that was mutated with an Earth pony and a human was shot in the arm and yelped in pain. Everyone (and everypony) in the barracks watched as Merentez shot the hybrid, knocked it out, and started patching it up. It took out some gauze and wrapped up the wound. Then two scientists rushed in and helped out.
"Keep pressure on the wound. Pass me the painkillers. And there we go! Here's your fucked up creation! I mean baby, I mean-"
"Just give it" said one of the scientists.
"Ok" Merentez said.
"What was that, Corporal?" Sergeant Hooves asked, staring at him. Although nobody knew where she looked.
"One of those mutations tried to eat me! What was I gonna do? Let it eat my arm like a loaf of bread? Not in a million years!"
"No. Your gun."
Merentez looked at his pistol.
"Oh this? This is a TAC-45 with FMJ, laser sight, and a gold camo! Why?"
"Because that gun belongs to Staff Sergeant Heartstrings! Where'd you get it?!"
"She gave it to me."
"Exactly when?"
"Just before I got attacked by that, thing sir- I mean ma'am!"
"Corporal, I hope your not lying, because if you are-"
"He's telling the truth, Derpy." a mint-green Unicorn said as she walked in.
"Staff Sergeant Heartstrings. A pleasure to see you still alive after that covert op!" Captain Langlee said with glee.
"Captain Langlee? Is that the first human I saw some years ago?!"

They both embraced with each other two seconds, then broke apart.
"How's your friend?"
"Who? Bon Bon?"
"Yeah. She must've been worried when we told the names of the missing soldiers. and you were one of them, in the helicopter crashes. All 27 heli's, because of one EMP. Man"
"Yeah. I think she is."
"Well I got good news! Princess Celestia had checked with all outposts in Equestria, and all is good. So I short form, we have a vacation!"
She couldn't believe it! She was finally going to go back home! In Ponyville! With her BFF! After 2 years in service, she got to take a break! A tear came to her eye...
"Go Lyra. Go see her."
"Yes sir!"
"ALRIGHT EVERYONE AND EVERYPONY!!! YOU ARE OFFICIALLY ON BREAK!!!"
Every individual hollers with joy and happiness. They were allowed to go home for 2 weeks. With their loved ones.
"GET OUTTA HERE!! YOUR FREE!!"
They all rushed to get ready for 2 weeks off of the H.P.A.F, and spend time with family and friends.
Princess Twilight Sparkle was overlooking Ponyville, not missing it though. Everyday, she got to visit the town for a whole day. And she always spent it with her friends.
"Ssooo, Princess. What shall we do?"
"I'm thinking Ralmac. Why don't you go charge yourself for a bit?"
"Because I already did!" Ralmac asked in his Southern robotic accent.
"Well, we could go to Sugurcube Corner and get a cupcake."
"Sure why not? I do enjoy the energy particles that Pinkie Pie puts in them. Tasty!"
"Ok! Let's go!"

"What is it Spike?!"
"A letter from Princess Celestia!"
"I'll read it, Spike!"

I have been told by the H.P.A.F that their scientists have found a way for Pegasus' and Earth ponies to cross to other galaxies, without the help of Unicorns! The scientists are wondering if you and the Elements would care to see a demonstration, and possibly, participate in a test with the device. They may also bring one guest with them. Please write back A.S.A.P.

Twilight was still. Earth ponies and Pegasus', traveling through different universes, without the help of a Unicorn! How could such thing be possible?
"How can they do this without the help of a Unicorn?! It's impossible!"
"That's why I suggest you accept this invitation, see how it works, and get me an application where I can control the doors of the Central Mainframe!"
"SHUT UP RALMAC!!!"
"Sorry Twilight! I'll go to the incinerator and burn myself! Sorry! I'm sorry! Don't yell at me!"
"Ralmac, wait! I didn't mean to-"
Twilight hated yelling at Ralmac. His data core was based off a 7-year old child, who died in when ventured too close to the incinerator.
"Oh Spike. Why does he have to spend his life like that? He was only seven! Why?". Twilight at this point started to tear up. His parents gone, not allowed to fell, touch, love, breath, smile, etc. He was now a machine, having to suffer with no feelings but guilt and sadness.
"It's not your fault, Twi."
"Help me get ready for the presentation, and get the girls."
After she got ready, she went to see Ralmac. He was by the incinerator, ready to dunk himself.
"Ralmac!"
"Sorry, Twi!" then he disconnected himself and fell to the floor, powerless. Although he was powerless, he was still alive while is data core was intact.
"It's ok."
She then took her to her room and put him on her bed.
"I'll find a way to resurrect you" she promised.
