“Why can’t I get this!” Quann yelled a

“What are you trying to do?” twilight asked as she looked over to the purple stallion who was trying to use his hooves to get his hat off of his head but failing at it.

“Why don’t you just use your magic?”

“His what?” Briggs asked.

“You know magic. Duh I mean you both are unicorns how don’t you know what magic is?” twilight asked

One long explanation later.

“So it is like the telepathy that the psychic types use.” Kody asked.

“Well not exa….” Rarity started

“Latias!” Quann yelled as he threw out her pokeball.

“Lati!” she squealed as she tackled him to the floor of the library.

“hay there girl good to see you too.” Quann said with a smile as he played on his back trying to avoid stabbing Latias with his horn.

“what is it doing to him?” Rainbow dash asked as she and her friends stared at the scene in front of them, then the girls looked over to see the other stallions were just standing around talking like nothing ever happened.

“Hay what…” Twilight started.

“Oh her? Don’t wory about it she and Bayleef both have a crush on him.” Zach said nonchalantly as Yanma flew over and landed on his head caring eevee with her legs and tail. The six mares then looked over to see the grass type fuming with her cheeks puffed out.

“Well…”

“leef leef bayleef! Bay bay bayleef!!”

“la la lati latias!”

“Whoa calm down you two.” Quann said trying to be the voice of reason. Only to recessive a vicious glare from the two female pokemon making him shrink back in fear.

“ok never mind.” He said as he stood up

“hay zach haven’t we been here before?” quann asked

“Ya.” The older stallion said.

*Cough. Cough*

“sorry.” Rainbow dash said

“Hay what in tarnation is goin on!?” Apple jack yelled when the four stallions aimed there weapons at her friend and had there muzzles covered by there winter coats or by a very thick surgical mask thing.

“What the hell is wrong with her!” Briggs yelled to twilight scaring the mares.

“Nothing! She just has a cold.” Twilight yelled.

“No one is dien on my watch.” Briggs said as he cocked the hammer back on his 500. magnum

“WHAT! Why isn’t she in quarantine!?” Zach yelled back

“Why would she be its just a cold?” Rarity asked

“bull shit there is no such thing as just… a cold.” Kody said.

“we gave her medicine.” twilight answered

“What the fuck are you talking about what medicine?” Quann asked

“You know to get rid of the cold duh *cough*.” Raingow dash said.

“Hi Twilight did you see there are four new stalions in town a…!” A pink blur said as it crashed through the door.

“Who the Fuck are you?” Zach said as both he and quann shifted their weapons from Rainbow dash to the new arrival.

“Make a move. I dare you.” Quann said to the new arrival

“Do you know who we are?” Twilight asked.

“Do you know I don’t give a shit.” Quann said with a smirk and a chuckle.

“Quanns right I really don’t care.” Zach said

“WAIT!” they all turned to see Briggs was lowering his weapon.

“she had medicine that will cure her cold?” he asked.

“Ya. Of course she did.” Twilight said Matter-of-factly.

“alright people stand down.” Briggs said resulting in surprised gasps when the other three stallions lowered their weapons.

“What kind of colony is this any way?” Kody asked the others.

“I don’t know. maby some kind of medical colony?” Zach said

“It cant be colony’s 2 and 9 were overrun by dark ones.” Quann said putting an armored hoof to his chin. The mares were wondering what these dark ones were, and twilight especially she had never read of any thing called a dark one.

“Hay what colony is this?” Kody asked twilight who just gave him a quizzical look.

“ponyville.”

“No He means what is this colony’s number?” Briggs said

“It doesn’t have a number.” Rarity said.

“Bull shit every colony has a number.” Quann responded.

“Well ponyville isn’t a colony!” Rainbow dash said

“So your raiders?” Briggs said reaching for his 500 magnum

“Hay Wait.”

“Ya?”

“What in tarnation were ya’ll goanna do if we didn’t give her medicine?” Applejack asked changing the subject.

“Well in colony seven we give you a choice.” Briggs said as he took a seat on a cushion followed by the other stallions.

“What kind a choice?” Apple Jack asked.

“Easy. She either takes a walk in the snow, or… she takes a bullet.” Quann said as he took the magazine out of his gun and cleared the chamber. With his bayleef and Latias now calmed down and looking a little worried about how nonchalantly he said it.

“That’s so… So.”

“Hay you purple winged rapidash.” Briggs said

“Im a pony and what?” Twilight asked.

“I want to talk to this colonies leader.” He orderd.

“That would be me.” Twilight said.

“Whats your name?”

“I am princess Twilight Sparkle Co ruler of equestria the Country you are In now.” She said as if he should already know this.

“Well then Princess. What is this colonies number and registration code?” Briggs asked.

“Its what?”

“You heard me. Number and Registration code.”

“Ponyville! And its not a Colony” she yelled back.

“Hello everypony having fun with the new arrivals?” a new voice said resulting in everyone present turning to see.

“Discord I knew you had something to do with this.” Twilight said

“Twilight im honored that you thought of me.” He said

“Why are they here? Where did they come from?”

“We are Just trying to survive. And we were from Colony seven.” Quann said

“Wait I don’t get it. I’ve never heard or read about this colony seven.” She said as the atmosphere in the library began to become more calm much to everypony relief.

“I don’t know how we used to be one of the most populated colonies on earth.” Kody said

“Wait where? Earth?”

“Earth. You know the planet we live on.”

“We live on Equis?” Twilight said

“Okay. Im sorry.” Zach said sarcastically but the mares were not used to ex-human sarcasm so they believed him.

“No they are serious Twilight. I Brought them here to help Fluttershy with the pokemon problem.” Discord said earning a irritated glare from the other ponies.

“But any way what is colony sevens population?” she asked as she and the other mares and dragon sat down and levitated over a quill and parchment.

“Well if I remember right? It was about 400 people when we arrived wasn’t it?”Quann asked.

“Ya I think about that many.” Zach said.

“wait you said used to have. How many does it have now?”

“seventy.” Kody said

“That’s it? just seventy ponies in a whole town?” Rarity asked as zach

“What in tarnation happened to all them ponies?”

“They caught a cold.” Zach said shooting a glare to Rainbow dash.

“Well…”

“wait, is what discourd said really true? Are you really from another planet?” Twilight said

“Well Ya… I guess? I mean if you can really call a frozen shit hole a planet.” Quann said before getting up and looking out of a window seeing that the sun had just gone down. So he went over and told Briggs.

“Well guys it looks like we stay here for tonight. and move out in the morning.” Briggs said

“What can you tell us about your world?” Twilight asked.

“Well What do you want to know?”

“What is that dreadful device on your backs?” Rarity asked

“What this?” Quann asked gesturing to his RIG earning a nod from the mares.

“It is our Resource Integration Gear or RIG for short.” He responded

“What does it do? it looks really cool.” Rainbow dash said

“it monitors and displays our vitals, and allows us to communicate with each other however both mine and Zachs are heavily armored for so that they don’t get damaged.”

“Why would they get damaged?”

“Well both Zach and I are surface team.” Quann said

“what is the difference then?” Rarity asked

“Meaning while most of the colony stays inside and under the ice. So there Rigs would have no reason to be armored.”

“I still don’t get it and which one of y’all is this zach fela?” Applejack asked

“Oh how silly of me we were never introduced.” Twilight said.

“your right. we’ll let get get that out of the way. You guys first we you already introduced yourself twilight so you don’t have to.” Quann responded.

“Ok then I am Applejacki run the Applefamily farm with my brother and little sister.” The one in the western style had said

“I am Pinkiepie Party pony extraordinaire!” the pink one said

“I’m Rainbowdash Fastest flyer in equestira.” The rainbow maind one boasted before sneezing at the end of her sentence.

“I am Rarity I run the carasoul butieq.” The fashniesta pony said

“And the yellow one?” Briggs asked

“Im fluttershy.” She said

“What?”

“Im Fluttershy.” She repeated

“Oh ok.”

“Well know that we know your names I guess it is our turn.” Kody said.

“Well i guess ill start. And I guess we will explain our RIG’s also.” He continued

“Quann calls me Briggs but I am Doctor Red Wood. Genetic scientist and Ex leader of colony seven. Used to work for Team Rocket before I Quit and took my crowning achievement with me and gave it to Quann here before the snow fell. My rig is the standard civilian Issue with minor armor the brawns color represents the leader ship element of my position.” Briggs said before gesturing to Kody to continue.

“I am Kody Colony sevens hydroponic scientist. I have a modified version of the civilian RIG because my job requires that I have no reason to go to the surface so I have minimal armor. My rig is this Wooden color because I am in charge of trying to find a way to make plants grow in the tundra.” Kody explained

“’*Sigh* I am Zach I am Colony seven Recon and security. My rig is the Standard issue security Rig so my rig is heavily armored do the risk of patrol in the tundra. My RIG’s color represents the Rank of sergeant. That is about it Quann your up.” He said

“Well then. I am Quann Colony seven’s field scientist and engineer. It was important that I be protected because I was one of the only engineers in the colony so if on patrol It was my job to fix the shit that broke or we found that was broken. I was also the apprentice of Briggs over there. On top of that I was a bit of an inventor. I wear a modified version of the heavy armor Security RIG the grey armor represents my status as an engineer.” Quann said.

“Well are there more of you?” twilight asked

“There were.” Zach said

“What does that mean?”

“I mean we lost our friends.”

“Well that’s just silly how does somepony loose a friend?” Pinkie asked Bounceing.

“Well I think we should just to tell you. You might want to get comfortable.” quann startedAs he turned on his flashlight and opened his blanket and got on it with his latias and bayleef beside him Yanma sleeping on his head.

Kody was resting agenized a wall covered in a blanket with his shotgun leaning on his shoulder, Zach was sitting on the floor cleaning his riffle, and Briggs was just sitting there looking put of the window watching the snow fall as he levitated a cut to him with a bronze aura. And the girls, Spike and Discord were looking at him intently waiting for him to start.

“Hay wait, why am I the one doing this?” Quann asked as he tried to stand up only to have latias pull him back down with her claw.

“Well dude you were always better at telling these kind of stories.” Zach said resulting in the purple stallion glaring at him. And he just laughed when his bayleef just nuzzled him like she always did.

“Wait you keep mentioning this toundra? Can you please explain.” Twilight asked

“Alright. Well you see the world froze along time ago…” quann said before looking down solemnly.

“So long ago that I don’t remember the warmth of the sun.”

“I heard the stories growing up. How the world grew hotter as our fuel was burned. How The pokemon tried to warn us but we ignored them.” He continued as he stood up and walked to a window and stared out into the falling snow.

“How we built towers to work the weather… When the food ran out the lucky ones founded places like this.” He said gestureing to ponyville

“A place where they could exist beneath the ice.”

He walked back and sat down with his pokemon in front of the mares. Who were hanging on every word.

“The truth is… one day... it started to snow. And it never stopped.” Quann started before he activated the logs of what he called the dark days.
