Princess Cadence never asked to be a princess, and just wanted to live life as a normal mare. After Princess Celestia made her her niece, Cadence's life has been nothing but a mess.

1 - Mother

I was lonely.

Completely alone now.

My father had been killed.

And now my mother. My sweet, sweet mother that had never killed a fly.

She was drenched in her own blood now. And she would always be. She was stuck there in till they could figure out the situation. They didn't care about the child. No. They didn't give a damn about her alicorn daughter, that was now completley alone and left her there to stare at her mother. They left me there to stare at my mother. My mother, that was now dead.

"Goodnight" was the last thing she said to me. I just never thought she could abandon her daughter for the night. I never thought she could be so heartless to leave me at night in the worst part of Manehatten alone just so she could go out and meet her mysterious lover.

She thought I didn't know . . . But I had been watching her meet with him in the living room. It was the main reason I stayed awake every night. To see her betray my father. Me.

And now look were I am.

I guess I was tramatized from seeing him touch her. Do things to her even if it was against her will. He knew I watched, so he continued to do it. It's like in every other fairytale. But it's the other way around. I knew that he knew who I was. I know he watched me and my friends walk home after school. And then they went missing.

My life has just been a mess.

Shinning Armor is the only one I can trust.

And then I learn that the one who practically ra-. I can't even say it, but I learned that his father was the one that mistreated my mother, and possibly even killed my father. Shinning Armor doesn't know that his father cheated on his mother with my mother as a boy, but his father sure does. He sure does . . .
