Castle-Maneia
First Sign of Change
Previous ChapterShe was a nice girl, but we never really got along. The type you crossed the street to avoid, the shady person up to no good. Oh yes. Blaze Fahrenheit was all of those things.
And I couldn't have asked for a better sister.
She was rough around the edges, no doubt. Her personality rested on confidence. And her fiery red hair, don't get me started. Her confidence had come from something I just couldn't put my foot on. Vampire huntress maybe?
"Alucard! Up here!" the redheaded girl called, dashing up the path we had been on for the last ten hours.
"I'm coming! Just wait up for me!" I yelled, waiting for her response. Instead, she just came back for me. "We're not that far. Come on!" she said, smiling.
I sighed as we kept on walking until we came across a building in the distance. "Is that...?" I asked, shocked at what I had seen. "Yes it is, little brother. Castlevania." She seemed to be happy for some reason. Was this the surprise she had mentioned? I had no time to ask as she rushed inside, eager to get some sleep. I was going to need some sleep too, but, I just couldn't fall asleep. I went to the library and decided to read for a bit.
Maybe reading something will get things off of my mind.
Blaze came to the library the next morning and saw me reading. "Have gotten any sleep last night?" she asked.
"No, Blaze. I couldn't sleep. Some things were on my mind." She began to frown, but smile a bit. "It's fine." she said, smiling. "Come on! I found something in my room." she said. "What?!" I asked, surprised. "What did you find?" She merely only smiled, dragging me from the library to her room.
The next thing I know, we're there. She opened the door and dragged me inside. She opened her closet and pulled out some sort of mirror. "A mirror?" I asked, unimpressed. "I think there's more to it," Blaze said, putting her hand on the silver, causing some sort of spark. "Blaze?" I asked, pointing at her hand. "Whoa!" she cried, pulling her hand away.
I was going to need some backup.
