Authors note: This is my take on the end of the manliest game ever “Manhunt” for the Playstation 2. At the end gamers were all left with one question, What happened to James Earl Cash? Well this is my take on it. This story will be much darker than my other 2 considering Manhunt’s themes, it will have the gore we all know and love from Manhunt, but I will not go Cupcakes deep into description, mainly to keep this rated T, but still expect a decapitation or head exploding or etc.
Cash woke up slowly in the darkness, his wrist bound together by hand cuffs. He felt a pain in his arms as though they were kicked while he was unconcious, he had just spilled the blood of Starkweather, but what was in store for him with the police, would they give him a medal for taking down a psychopath, or would they just put another injection into his arm, this time the right one?
“Well it looks like this is the end for me. Heh, and to think, I helped them take down a crazy asshole like that.”, he said as his vision started to slowly kick in. He noticed a white, pegasus? No wait it was a unicorn. Hold on a second, it was both, it stood about 7 feet tall from what he analyzed, and had a look of disappointment.
“This isn’t your end, its your beginning,.... in Tartarus,” The creature said standing up tall,now making eye contact.
“It was a shame, James, you were a smart and stealthy individual and you wasted your abilities to kill.” The creature said, “I am Celestia, ruler of this beautiful land. I teleported you here because no punishment the humans could give could fit the deeds you’ve done.”
James just stood there and looked her back in the eye before taking a look at his surroundings, he was in a castle, 2 guards stood next to the bitchy creature, and there was not a human to be found.
He then looked back at her before spitting in her face and informing her of the suffering he’d already been through.
“You can’t do any shit to me that Starkweather hasn’t already done, I killed people, I watched them die gruesome deaths BY MY HAND! I SAW NEO NAZI’S KILL MY DAMN FAMILY LIVE IN FRONT OF MY EYES! And all of that was done for the pure cause of his amusement. So I am pretty sure that rainbows and bunnies won’t damn break me!” He yelled out, before calming back down and looking her straight in the eye.
Celestia sighed at his anger.
“Take him to Tartarus.”, The guards obeyed and started escorting Cash, but he already had a plan, he knew how to assassinate and he was going to do it. As they walked through the streets of Canterlot, Cash made a run for it and ran straight into an alley, the guards running after him.
Cash was now in his turf, the dark. As the guards walked through the alleyway, they couldn’t see Cash within the shadows. one walked right by Cash before he firmly wrapped the chains of his handcuffs around their neck, as they suffocated, Cash slammed their chin against his knee before finally slamming their head against the wall. Blood from their mouth splattered against the wall and the creature died, a fast but extremely painful death. Cash then took the key to the cuffs from the armor of the creature and freed himself before taking a broken piece of glass from the ground and stabbing the other one exactly 4 times in the head.
Cash then through both bodies in the garbage can before walking away and saying what he said before hand,
“ I told you, you can’t do anything to me that Starkweather hasn’t already done.”
3 days later
Twilight and the rest of the Mane 6 along with a whole onslaught of guards stood at attention of Princess Celestia.
“Princess, you called us over.” said Twilight. The Mane 6 looked at the guards and knew this had to be huge.
“Girls, it would take much more chaos then 3 fillies arguing to resurrect Discord, It has to be a certain amount of chaos coming from one pony at a time, only I found the source and it wasn’t a pony, it was a creature of an alternate dimension, going by the name of James Earl Cash, he apparently was involved in a huge incident with one named Starkweather and ended up murdering over 100 people.” (Authors notes : Yes I am aware those “People” were gangsters)
Twilight and the gang stood in shock at this, and now were scared as hell, but then thought they saw what the princess wanted them to do.
“Oh so you want us to hit him with a shot from the Elements.” Fluttershy grinned, hoping that was the situation.
“Wrong, I am unsure if the Elements would even effect someone this far in a chaotic state of mind. James Earl Cash must be brought to me, dead or alive, preferably the former.” Celestia said, a tear now escaping her as she imagined the kind of chaos that happened in his world.
The ponies gasped at these words, preferably dead!? How much destruction did he cause exactly? He must have been more dangerous than Discord for death to be a penalty.
“Well, princess, can we at least try the Elements? I am pretty sure they would work if you just believed in them.”, Twilight nervously smiled.
Celestia replied explaining Cash’s past, “Cash is a self-trained vigilante assassin, he hides in the dark, and refuses to come out until his opponents back is turned. The odds of you even finding him that easy are little to none.”
Authors notes: So as you see ,this stays true to the Manhunt game, just with added ponies.
This story was originally to help me and McDonald’s Applejack get some writers block out of our heads for Deadpool in Equestria, but it looks like it actually might go somewhere.
Authors notes: As you can clearly see this story is not intended for those who haven’t played Manhunt, in the events someone who has not played Manhunt reads this story, we clearly advise them to expect the game being spoiled and them being scarred for life ( Because that is what the game does to people with its intense violence factor), I also will remind you that my origin story for James is non canon to the game, and was merely fan made, feel free to read on now.
McDonald’s Applejack’s notes: Y’all know, I would recommend him to add romance to this story too, but the last time I recommended something like that, he ended up shipping Applejack with Deadpool -_-.
3 days after James Earl Cash’s arrival in Equestria, 9:00pm
Cash stealthily walked through the now semi-vacant streets of Ponyville, of course like every other city it was infested with those damn guards. He couldn’t believe the rates he had to go to for survival in the last 3 days, he was using a pocket knife as a weapon. Apparently the guards were too stupid to check his vest pockets. He was getting sick of hunting for food, and was starting to feel like eating horse meat. He slipped into an alleyway, curled into a corner, and started talking to himself.
“Mayor Angelus”, He said.
“The reason I was put on death row. The bastard kept raising taxes, and never spent tax dollars to help Carcel City one bit. Oh no, he used them to buy dresses for his whore wife, and his legal team was so good that he always got away with it.”
“Meanwhile, I had a wife and two kids to feed, I was sick of that bastard, treating the entire town like sh*t. So at his last public speech, I killed him, I knew my gun would’ve been too merciful, so I pried his head off with a crowbar. The cops tried to beat me down, but I got the hell out of there.” He laughed, this memory being the only thing that kept him sane.
“Who are you talking to?” he heard a voice next to him say. He turned around to see a pink horse looking right at him with a huge grin on her face.
“Because sometimes I talk to myself and....Hey your that guy we’re supposed to report to the guards. HEY GUARDS! MMMPPPHH!” Cash quickly covered her mouth
“Quiet down you little bitch!” He sternly, yet quietly said into her ear,
“Hey that’s mean! Only my cousin Drinky says that to me, and he only says it when he is mad, which he always is, but I know he doesn’t mean it and he is only joking. I can see why the princess wants you arrested so badly, your a meany pants mc doo-doo head.”, the pink horse kept babbling.
“I said quiet down you piece of sh*t!” Cash said this time more stern and with far more anger in his voice, the pink horse now got teary eyed.
“You don’t have to be so mean!” the horse whimpered, Cash started feeling a bit bad for the poor creature and tried to make it up to her.
“Listen, I just got a lot of crap on me right now, I’m sorry, now will you please go away?” Cash said, still keeping the sternness in his voice.
“Oh it’s OK, my name is Pinkie Pie, but I can’t go away, I have to keep an eye on you, but I tell you what, if you can prove that you are more innocent than you sound, I can let you go.” Pinkie smiled.
“Ok, Fair enough.” said Cash, before telling her the full Starkwhether incident story, along with why he was put on death row.
“Piggsy sounded like he would be fun to play with, why did you kill him?”, Pinkie Pie asked.
“Simple, he was trying to kill me, same reason I’ve been killing those guards.,” Cash shrugged.
“Well why not try to work things out?” Pinkie asked.
“In my world, when someone is trying to murder you, you murder back, one of your lives is gonna end, and only one is going to be left standing. It’s really hard to explain when you go beyond that.” Cash tried to explain, his tone now a little saddened by knowing the chaos that goes on his world.
“Oki Doki Loki” Pinkie Pie said with a confused tone.
“Huh, what was that.” They heard a guard say from across the street.
“Go, its too dangerous to be caught with me.”, said Cash before pulling out his knife.
“I’ll introduce you to my friends tommorow.”, Pinkie Pie replied walking out of the alleyway.
As the guard looked into the alleyway, he was pulled in before he was thrown onto the ground, then his neck was stomped on. -SNAP-
Cash looked down at the dead unicorns body. “Man its a shame he had to die this way.”
The talk with the pink pony had gotten to him, and in respect he closed the eyes of the creatures corpse, before taking a shovel from a nearby closet. .
“This one gets a proper burial. That I’m going to make sure of.” Cash said as he started to dig a hole.
