The tension between old powers and these new companies shelter the dark plots and schemes to snatch the power from their competitors and seize control of Equestria. With each of these industrial giants ready to unveil their newest creations at the Canterlot Technological Expo there also rests a feeling of unease among the crowd. Cybernetically enhanced soldiers and private military corporations stand with weapons at the ready, prepared to take action against any hostility. But one company has drawn a red ring around the royal family and the first phase of their plan will be executed that night.
