Prologue
Love is a complicated thing…
It can cause happiness and pain. You just don’t know which you will end up with. Some are different than others -- some don’t like to reveal their orientation while some others are quite proud of it. No matter what type of pony you are, you will always find problems in relationships or finding love… and depending on what type of pony you are will depend on how you tackle your problems.
This story follows the life of a young buck named Flare. Flare is a little self-conscious about his sexual orientation. While his friends and workmates love mares, he is a little different, Flare likes stallions. Unfortunately, Flare has been through heartache, where some of the stallions he has liked have gotten into a relationship with a mare or said they were straight when he asked.
Now Flare hangs on… hoping one day, a stallion just like himself will come along and love him enough to be with him forever…
