As Hearth's warming draws ever near. An ancient enemy returns after a thousand years simply known as the Rat King, to reclaim what he thinks is his, Equestria.

It is now up to Princess Twilight and her friends to stop the Rat King and save Equestria and hearth's warming, but theirs only one pony that can stop the Rat King as he did back a thousand years ago.
