Sweetie Belle woke up and stretched her legs as she got out of bed. She ate breakfast with her older sister, Rarity. After she finished her breakfast, she hopped out the door and went off to work. Scootaloo and Applebloom joined her along the way. They skipped all the way to the strip club, and once they were inside they were stricken with sadness. The three of them looked at the schedule and saw they would be on Bar Duty today.
They sulked to the bar and started getting things out. It was about twelve minutes before anyone showed up. The first customer of the day was the mayor. " A glass of chardonnay, please." she said with an exasperated sigh. "You sound tired. What are you doing here?" Scootaloo asked.
"I've been going through papers and requests all week. I need some me time" she said as Applebloom handed her a glass. She drank the whole thing in one gulp. "Say, I'm feeling better already. How about another?" she said as she put the glass back on the counter. Applebloom refilled the cup and gave it back to the mayor. She drank it, a bit slower this time, handed Sweetie Belle thirty seven bits, and left.
Almost as soon as she left somepony else went up to the bar. It was Twilight Sparkle. Twilight had a look of slight shock and surprise when she saw Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo at the bar. What are you three doing here? Aren't you three a little young" Twilight asked, a little afraid of what the answer might be.
"We work here with Sweetie Belle." Scootaloo said as she wiped a glass clean. Twilight Sparkle just stared at the three fillies in confusion. Why were three underage fillies working at a strip club of all places? Twilight might never know.
"Anyway, I'd like some cherry bourbon. My wings are killing me and I need something to ease the pain." Twilight said. Sweetie Belle poured some bourbon and cherry syrup into a glass and shook it well, thoroughly mixing the contents and gave it to Twilight Sparkle.
Twilight took a sip and shuddered as she sighed with relief. "Ah.... Much better." Twilight said as she put the glass down on the counter. She gave Sweetie Belle seventy bits and left.
About thirty six minutes later, Sparkler came to the bar counter. "One red fire whiskey please." she said. Scootaloo poured some into a cup and gave it to her cautiously.
"You do know this stuff is, like, capable of creating a gaping hole in your stomach, right?" Scootaloo asked.
"Of course I know. I just don't care." Sparkler said indignantly. She downed the entire thing in one large gulp. She gave Scootaloo sixty bits and she left. They would probably not be seeing her again, other than at her funeral, but it's her choice.
About twelve minutes later, Thunderlane came up to the bar. "What's up girls?" Thunderlane said with a casual grin.
"Not much." Applebloom replied.
"Hey, aren't you three the girls I saw last night? Thunderlane asked with astonishment.
"Yep!" Sweetie Belle said with satisfaction. Weren't we just damn sexy?" she continued in a sultry voice.
You bet! Say, can I get some whiskey?" Thunderlane asked, his voice no longer showing enthusiasm and cheer.
"Sure, is something wrong?" Applebloom asked.
"Cloudkicker made me move out... I thought what we had was special...What did I do wrong..." Thunderlane cried between sips.
Sweetie Belle poured the sad Wonderbolt another glass. Thunderlane gulped it down and set the glass on the counter. He gave Sweetie Belle sixty two bits and walked away crying.
About thirty seven minutes later, their next customer was Prince Blueblood. Sweetie Belle almost vomited at the sight of that jackass. "Hello wenches, Id like a glass of your finest liquor." He said in his regal, son-of-a-mule tone.
Sweetie Belle grinned evilly as she mixed many different things together and gave it to Blueblood. "It tastes kind of... musky. What's in this?" Blueblood asked.
"It's two parts vodka, three parts whiskey, six parts absinthe, and eight parts Rarity." Sweetie Belle said, still grinning like a maniac.
"Eight parts Rarity?" Blueblood asked, afraid of what she meant.
"You're drinking her sister's splooge." Scootaloo said.
Blueblood froze as the realization came crashing down on him. This was payback for treating Rarity like dirt at the Gala. Blueblood ran out of the building screaming at the top of his lungs and crashing into other ponies along the way due to his drunken state.
"There wasn't really any mare juice in there...Was there?" Applebloom asked.
"Of course not! I just wanted to teach Blueballs a lesson about what happens when somepony messes with my sister." Sweetie Belle laughed.
About an hour and a half later, it was time to go home. Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, and Applebloom split the two hundred twenty two bits and each took seventy four. They went on their way home. Sweetie Belle stopped at the door and saw that she had got another letter. Actually, it was meant for her sister Rarity. It was from Blueblood.
Dear Rarity,
I'm sorry.
With regrets, Blueblood
Sweetie Belle scoffed at the poorly written apology. She took it inside and turned on one of the ovens burners, and let the piece of paper quickly burn. After all an apology from Blueblood was worth about as much as his wank sock.
Sweetie Belle kissed her big sister goodnight and went to bed. Hopefully tomorrow, she won't be working the bar. She laid her head on her pillow, ready to imagine just what might happen tomorrow.
