Fallout Equestria: New Age

Prologue

Japony... The nation of several islands to the east of Equestria... While we never entered the war ourselves and survived the balefire megaspells. We still suffered from the cloud cover and the fallout. Luckily it wasn't as radiated as Equestria and the Zebra Empire. So we still has some sunlight to grow our crops. However we too were in a state of war. A state of civil war to be exact. Warlords from every province fight to claim territory, despite the pleas of the Shogunate that commands us to support them and stop fighting. However one such warlord, Kamikaze. Has been claiming provinces of Japony like crazy. He has defeated warlord after warlord, in his hopes that he can defeat the Shogunate with his massive army.

This is where our story begins... In the Quick Province, the land that my father protects as it's warlord. We would never harm the ponies under our charge. We protected the only village in this small province from any danger: raiders, slavers, marauders, or all of the above. We are it's protectors. We are the samurai. We fight and give our lives in order to protect those under my father's charge.

While we never had Stables or any of that. We did have technology like computer terminals, semi-automatic firearms, even a siege tank. However we kept melee weapons in our arsenal, as part of our tradition in a way. We refused to switch over to firearms and new war tactics. It is why we stayed safe and neutral since the great war.

Several raiders enter the village of the Quick Province. Seconds later... Only seven pony samurai rush out of the nearby palace. As everypony ran to take refuge. Each had a different colored suit of armor. Giving themselves an identity.

The seven samurai leader used his magic to pull a zanbatou off his back. It then changes into a ozutsu type cannon. Then the unicorn stallion leader, concentrates his magic into the weapon. Then fires one powerful blast that cleans out a group of raiders all running in the same direction.

My name is Quick Cameo, I am the son of Quick Slice the province's warlord. My weapon, a combination of a zanbatou and a ozutsu cannon, is called the Daizantsu.

An earth pony mare, wearing all black light armor, turns off her stealth spell. Holding a tanto in her mouth, she sneaks up on an unsuspecting pegasus stallion and cuts his throat with the knife. She sheathes the tanto and draws a wakizashi as she goes from building to building killing any raiders.

Sakura Cherryblossom, the only ninja of our team. She uses a reverse engineered PiPBuck she was given by a unicorn from Equestria. Her PiPBuck can now use an intergrated StealthBuck Mk II. Giving her the advantage to creep up on targets.

A unicorn mare wearing pink armor runs past several raiders. Using her magic to control two war fans. Cutting down the raiders in their most vulnerable points.

Kokuro Heartspirit is my right hoof mare. Second in command of the group she is deadly with her twin war fans.

An earth pony stallion carrying a heavy kanabo in his front legs crushes the skull of one raider. Before fighting more as they try to surround the stallion. His armor is dark green.

Kana Strongarm, the strongest of all samurai ponies in all Japony. Well at least that is the claim. So far his strength has been unmatched.

Another earth pony stallion wearing a battle saddle with a auto reloader and two semi-automatic rifles, and wearing blue armor. Fires a three burst of rounds at the raiders he's fighting. When one wielding a katana comes close. The stallion draws his own katana to match his opponent's. Both fight with their melee weapons for a minute, until the blue samurai decapitates the opposing raider.

Habiki Soundwave, his swordsmanship is second to none in sword fighting in this small nation. At least nopony has been able to match his skill yet.

Kin Taro, an earth pony stallion wearing gold armor, uses a naginata in his mouth to slice through the armor of a few raiders. Before gunning down a couple with his own rifles on a battle saddle.

Kin Taro, he has a heart as gold as his armor. Always there to aid any pony in need. He lost his younger sister, Gin Bishoujo a few years ago to slavers. She was raped and brutally murdered in front of his own eyes. He especially hates slavers, to which I don't blame him. After the horrible death his young sister suffered.

Finally, a flying pegasus mare dives down, and lands and draws a kusarigama chain weapon. Handling it in her mouth and wings. She cuts the legs of any raider who dares get in her way. Her armor is purple.

Last we have Sora Skysong. She is the youngest but most trained of us. She has mastered the sickle chain weapon of the kusarigama. Utilizing both her mouth and wings to control it.

Together we protect the only village in this small province. Together we win battles. Together we practice the magic of friendship. Together we are the Seven Samurai. Japony's only group of heroes known throughout the nation!

We may have deafened the village again. However we are awaiting the arrival of our toughest challenge... Our challenge from the Divine Wind Province to the north. The province ruled by the tyrannical warlord Kamikaze. Who has been conquering province after province. In hopes to form a large [enough] army to take down the ruling Shogunate. Now this is where we start our adventure [into the wasteland of Equestria . An adventure that leads us to a world that we never experienced before...

Day 1: Morning at the Quick Castle

A pegasus mail mare flies down and lands in front of the palace gates of the Quick family. After being allowed through the gates by the guards, the mail mare trots happily towards a filly colored a light blue with a platinum blonde mane. She was eagerly awaiting for the mail mare to approach.

“Hey Kaze! Good morning!” Sora Skysong said. Kaze Windrunner is a good friend to the Quick family and their vassals. Who are known as the Seven Samurai. Kaze pulls a stack of letters and scrolls and gives them to Sora. Who takes them with her mouth.

“Arigato!” Sora says in a muffled voice. Kaze flies off and waves farewell to her, before walking back into the palace. Where everyone is eating breakfast of rice, eggs, fruits and vegetables. With Quick Slice sitting on top of a pillow. At the head of the throne room. His son is sitting to his right. The other five vassals are sitting on either side of the room. They use small trays with their food on it. Sora walks in, as her usual happy self.

The palace is a two story palace. It is made of wood with clay shingles on the roof, and paper doors. There is room for all of the staff, vassals, guards and the warlord Quick Slash himself. The entire place is decorated with suits of samurai armor. Even bamboo poles are growing near windows. As well as banzai trees. Behind Quick Slash's pillow, where he always sits during meals or holding audiences with his ponies, are four beast statues. One is a dragon with no wings, four clawed legs, a beard, and two lightning bolt horns. Another is that of a tiger, one is a tortoise, and finally the fourth is a Phoenix. These four beasts are the Divine Four Beasts. These beast are the nation's own deities. Who the ponies worship, while they pray over their deceased loved ones for guidance to the living.

There are ponies who dress in all black with black cloth hoods covering their faces. These ponies are a faction of servants named Kuroko. The Kuroko are normally used in traditional kabuki pony theater as set changers. Changing the sets during plays. However the Kuroko who serves under the Quick Clan, are tasked with evacuating the nearby village whenever it is attack.

Sora lays the mail in front of Quick Slash's pillow. He nods his thanks to Sora as she bows respectively to her Lord.

“Tell what has Kaze brought us today Sora...” he said. The other vassals and Quick Cameo stopped eating. All are present with the exception of Sakura. Who eats with her ninjas, in the barracks.

“They're mostly bills my Lord.” Sora said as she sorted through the mail. “However these scrolls are stuff from the Shogunate.

“News from the Dragon Province! Dragon Star is informing us that his province has fallen to Kamikaze! He is asking you to evacuate your ponies to the capitol city of City of the Four Beasts!” a pegasus stallion messenger exclaims when entering. The stallion was wounded trying to get his scroll to Lord Quick Slash. Meaning he pulls the scroll out of his saddle bag, and hands it to Sora, to hand to Quick Slash.

"WHAT!?” Quick Slice said in complete surprise. “Dragon Star is telling me to evacuate my province because of Kamikaze?”

He grabs the scroll and reads it personally. His hope of it being a joke deflated and he gave a sigh of sadness. The stallion finally succumbs to his injuries and dies.

“It appears that Kamikaze is now coming for us next. Sora notify Sakura to help mobilize the evacuation.”

“Yes my Lord.” Sora said as she ran off to the ninja barracks.

“I will not let Kamikaze get away with this anymore. Even if his father Divine Winds is the head of the Shogunate Council. We will fight to defend this land from the Kamikaze Clan, or we will die trying.”
