Twilight and her friends are transported to a mirror world where their counterparts are dead, killed by Discord in his mad quest to take over the world.

An unexpected visit from an old acquaintance results in Twilight and her friends being transported to a mirror world ruled by a cruel, sadistic version of Discord. Learning that their counterparts have been killed in this new, violent world, they are tasked with carrying out the quest that they had already accomplished in their own world - defeat Discord, and free the land from his iron fist.
However, this is a new world, and new rules apply. Will they survive their ordeal?
