Scootaloo, Chapter 4

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

"She kissed me!" Scootaloo shouted.

"Yeah, it was cute. Now hop on." Rainbow Dash leaned down so the filly could climb onto her back. They were soon soaring over the dark orchard, heading for the cloud-house not far from where they were.

"But... but... she kissed me! And she's a filly!"

"Would it have been better if it was a colt?"

"EWWW!"

"Thought so."

Scootaloo buried her head into Rainbow Dash's flapping mane. "But... it was, like, a kiss."

Rainbow Dash laughed. "Well, kissing is cool."

"Huh?"

"I think kissing feels awesome."

"R-really?"

Rainbow Dash turned her head and gave a small kiss onto Scootaloo's muzzle. "It's not that bad, is it."

Scootaloo giggled, but had to admit to herself that she really didn't mind the kiss. Especially coming from Rainbow Dash. She tried to play it down. "Yeah, but you're, like, my big sis. It doesn't count."

"Really?" Rainbow Dash said in almost a challenging voice. She turned around again and started raining tiny kisses onto Scootaloo's cheeks and forehead.

Scootaloo tried to struggle against the fierce onslaught, but had to hold onto her big sister's mane, which left her defenseless. "Stop it! Argh! Not fair! Eww!"

Rainbow Dash turned to look forward and went into a slow loop-de-loop, turning both of them upside down, before going into a steep dive. Her house was directly under them, and she only pulled up at the last second, landing softly as a floating feather onto the clouds next to her front door. "Here we are!"

Scootaloo didn't say anything as she jumped down. Now that she finally had her forehooves free, she tried to desperately rub the kisses from her face.

"Heh, sorry about that, Squirt. You just looked so cute with Silver Spoon that I couldn't resist."

"Hey! I'm not cute! I'm... I'm cool!"

"Why not be both?"

Scootaloo pushed her tongue out and blew a raspberry at her big sister.

Rainbow Dash only smirked at her and pushed the door open into her cloud-home. They entered the two-story foyer with the huge spiral staircase leading upstairs. Scootaloo had seen it only once before and it had been only a quick glance back then, because Rainbow Dash had forgotten her favourite coaching whistle at home and had to pick it up. The floor and walls were made from some hard material that almost looked like marble, but how marble could be held up by clouds was beyond Scootaloo's understanding. The best explanation she could come up with was 'magic'. The room had a lot of the details that were more typical of Cloudsdale: tall pillars, busts, and a tiny fountain with a rainbow flowing through it, just like the bigger one outside the house. There was also a very modern-looking kitchen alcove with a high table and three bar-stools. That was where Rainbow Dash was headed.

"Sit down," she said, pointing at one of the stools. "You hungry?"

The rumbling in Scootaloo's stomach answered for her. She did have the decency to act slightly embarrassed. "A bit."

"So what'll it be? I have... umm..." Rainbow Dash started going over her mostly barren cupboards. "Noodles?"

"Sure! I could eat almost anything right now!"

"That's the spirit." Rainbow Dash tapped a tiny cloud over a sink and filled a kettle with some rainwater that poured out. She pushed it on the stove and kicked a much darker storm cloud near the floor. A small light lit up on the stove, signalling it was heating up. Rainbow Dash turned around, opened up a bar-cabinet in the corner, took out a small bottle of dark brown liquid, and slammed it on the table in front of Scootaloo. She also produced a rag from somewhere. "Now let's get you cleaned up. You really look like a mess."

Scootaloo didn't understand what she was talking about, until she finally remembered the permanent marker. "Oh, yeah! You said you can get it out with alcohol." She looked at the bottle on the table. The label had a pirate pony with an eye-patch and a grin with several missing teeth on it. "Captain Maregan Rum? You... you have alcohol at your house?" She asked, almost accusingly.

"Hey, I won that in some competition years ago. Good excuse to use it away. I don't really do the strong stuff. You know, cos I'm an athlete?"

"Why would they give alcohol as a prize in flying competitions?" Scootaloo wondered, her eyes still stuck on the bottle.

"Who said anything about flying?" Rainbow Dash answered with a smirk. She poured some of the vile-smelling liquid onto the rag and started wiping Scootaloo's face off. "Close your eyes. Don't want to get this stuff in them."

Scootaloo felt her face get pushed around several times, then heard Rainbow Dash pour some more rum onto the rag and again got it swiped all over her face.

"Ponies really drink that stuff? It smells awful."

"Never understood it either. When I drink something, it's just cider."

Scootaloo felt the rag leave her face again. She opened her eyes up. "Dad drinks cider too. He's never let me taste it though," she added sullenly.

Rainbow Dash's eyes glossed over as she looked at the wall. "Cider's the best drink in Equestria. It's been brewed with love from the best apples, carefully chosen yeasts and some of them even add a tiny trickle of maple syrup and vanilla in the mix. Brewed in a dark-oaken cask giving it a slightly smoky yet still perfectly smooth taste. The way it foams as you pour it out the bottle makes your mouth water just at the thought. The first sip is always the best, when the sweetness of the cider slowly dances on your tongue before the slight bitterness comes through. I love them half-dry, not the stuff that tastes like apple juice, but the kind of stuff that makes your tongue stick to the top of your mouth for a moment—"

"Umm, Rainbow Dash? You're drooling."

"Oh? Argh!" Rainbow Dash quickly wiped her mouth with the rummy rag, immediately catching a coughing fit as some of the taste got into her mouth. She pushed her tongue out. "Eww! That stuff tastes as bad as it smells."

Scootaloo laughed at her antics. "Seems like you really like cider. I almost want to try it now too."

"Hmh? Oh, don't worry. I'll let you taste some."

"Really?" Scootaloo's wings fluttered in excitement.

"Yeah... when you grow up a few years." Rainbow Dash finished with a bap onto Scootaloo's forehead.

"Awww..."

Rainbow Dash cooked the noodles and they ate, both of them hungry enough not to spoil the moment with talking. There was even a fresh bottle of milk in the icebox, and Scootaloo soon had her belly filled.

"You wanna go grab a shower?" Rainbow Dash asked after she'd finished cleaning up the dishes. Scootaloo had expected her to just toss them into the sink, but her big sister really seemed to make a point of washing the dishes.

"If it's okay, sure."

"Of course it is. Ever used a cloud-shower before?"

Scootaloo shook her head. "Nu-uh! We have one with pipes at home."

"Well there's nothing quite like a real cloud-shower. I got a fresh raincloud from work yesterday so you can shower as much as you want."

"Cool!" Scootaloo jumped off her stool and followed Rainbow Dash upstairs. They walked through her bedroom, and past the biggest bed Scootaloo had ever seen.

"Wow!"

"Awesome, right? I had to specially order it to get a cloud that big. I had to pull out half the wall to fit it in."

"And it's all just for you?" Scootaloo looked at the majesty of the double XXL-queen-and-the-rest-of-the-royal-family sized bed.

"Well, tonight I'll have to share it. Can't have you sleep on a couch."

"Really? I get to sleep in that?"

"Only after you've washed up," Rainbow Dash said as she pushed the bathroom door open.

"Oh, right!"

Inside the bathroom was almost a disappointment to Scootaloo. The floor and the walls were made of the same kind of boring white tile as the one at her house. That was before she looked up. "Is that a real cloud?"

"Didn't I tell you got one just yesterday? I'm sure it's warmed up nicely today."

"How does it work?" Scootaloo asked, jumping around with her wings abuzz, the added energy from dinner returning her back to her energetic self.

"Well, there's soap and shampoo on that shelf and there are towels on the rungs near the door to the toilet. When you want to start, just pull that string and it'll prod the cloud and it'll start raining."

"This one?" Scootaloo said, pulling on it immediately. Just like Rainbow Dash had said, the whole room was filled with warm rainwater pouring down on her face. "Wow! It's like being outside in the rain! This is awesome, Rainbow... Dash..." She'd turned around to see the mare looking at her from under her rainbow-coloured mane, now hanging wet down the side of her face. "Err... oops?"

Rainbow Dash tried to glare at her, but had to give up and laugh. "I needed a shower anyway. Mind if I join you?"

Scootaloo fully enjoyed her first cloud-shower, swirling around, throwing water everywhere from her hooves and wingtips. She fluttered her tiny wings, churning the rain into tiny mist around her and laughed. "Dad would be so mad at me if I did something like this at home!"

Rainbow Dash had been watching her play around with a smile, but stopped her frolicking with both forehooves. "It is still a shower, you know."

"Oh, right!" She turned around once more. "Can I use your shampoo?" she asked.

"Sure. Here," Rainbow Dash grabbed a bottle from the shelf and poured some directly onto Scootaloo's head.

The filly quickly shut her eyes so none of it would get into her eyes. Before she could do anything else, she felt two hooves start to rub the shampoo into her mane. "Hey! I can do that myself!"

"I'm sure you can," Rainbow Dash answered, not slowing down for a moment.

"I'm a big pony! I don't need to have my mane washed!"

"I'm sure you are."

"Oaww!" Scootaloo said, but sat down with her forehooves crossed and her lower lip in a pout. Now that she had to hold her eyes closed, she noticed what the shower sounded like. The pitter-patter of the raindrops was all around her, sounding just like real rain falling onto a rooftop. The most relaxing thing to fall asleep to. Rainbow Dash's hooves also felt pretty nice on her head. She was far gentler than the filly had expected. Now that she thought about it, she couldn't remember the last time somepony else had washed her hair. She hadn't taken a shower with her father for years and her mother had left them a long time ago too. She wrote once in a while and all, but that just wasn't the same. Scootaloo had to admit that she'd missed it.

The hooves left her head, and the shower fell fully onto her head. She lifted her head up, feeling the rain on her face. The warm water washed over her, taking away the shampoo. She waited impatiently, almost opening her eyes, worried that Rainbow Dash wasn't going to continue. Soon enough, she felt something else get poured onto her mane. The faint smell of flowers filled the bathroom. It was the same scent she'd come to associate with Rainbow Dash's mane from whenever they were flying together. The mare's mane would flap in the wind against her muzzle and it always smelled of spring flowers. Scootaloo had always wondered about that, because shouldn't a wild and cool pony like Rainbow Dash use something that smelled sporty? Like her father's aftershave he always used when going to work, telling her how it made him smell athletic? The one that always made her gag? Scootaloo decided that smelling like flowers was pretty cool too, if Rainbow Dash did it.

All too soon, the gentle hooves left her head, and this time they returned with a bit more force, rinsing the shampoo and conditioner away. She wiped the last drops from her eyes and opened them up. The room had grown slightly foggy, but she could clearly see Rainbow Dash standing over her, smiling. She flashed her a toothy grin back. Without thinking, she then turned around, lifting her tail up.

"Now the tail too? I thought you were a big pony?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Scootaloo's heart skipped a beat. It had felt so nice and familiar when she'd had her mane washed that she'd turned around just like she'd done with her parents. "But... but... weren't you going to?"

"Would you like me to?" Rainbow Dash asked.

It was indeed something Scootaloo would very much like for Rainbow Dash to do. For a moment she thought of acting tough and saying no at first, but she couldn't risk it. She swallowed the last tiny bit of pride she had left. "Please?"

"Sure."

Scootaloo felt her wings flutter excitedly, no longer caring if she was acting like a baby. She backed up a step, lifting her tail high up. Only a moment later she felt something a bit colder than the shower water hit the base of her tail. Two tender hooves started going through her knotty tail. She knew she was supposed to brush it more often, but it always seemed like she was too busy. When the hooves found those knots, she felt a tiny tug on her tail. It didn't hurt much, but she could definitely feel it. She felt a touch against her hole, making her twitch a bit, but she remembered that it wasn't really possible to wash someone's tail without touching the other's butt, or even hole, for that matter. And it was her sister, after all. Now, if she were to go a bit lower...

Scootaloo's eyes shot wide open. The thought of Rainbow Dash's hooves rubbing her tail, going lower, touching her in the place where she'd touched herself earlier when watching Diamond Tiara get spanked made her shiver. She immediately felt the same hot feeling start to build up inside her stomach. Scootaloo thought that maybe, just maybe, Rainbow Dash might accidentally brush against the same place. It might happen, right? Her hooves must have been only inches away when she was washing her tail. She was going to put the conditioner on there too, so it was even more likely. Maybe if she spread her legs a bit and lifted her rump up higher—

"Hey, Scoots, you alright?"

Scootaloo was shocked from her fantasy "W-what?" Had Rainbow Dash found out somehow? She'd already guessed what she was thinking several times that day. Had she gotten caught doing... something?

"You're fidgeting around. Is your butt still sore from the spanking? Does the shampoo sting or something?"

Scootaloo breathed out a sigh of relief. How could Rainbow Dash know what she was thinking? Even she herself wasn't sure to begin with. Good thing her big sister had given her the excuse she needed. "Yeah, just a bit. It doesn't hurt that bad."

"Well, you're still pretty red here, so I wouldn't be surprised. Here, lemme wash the shampoo off. Maybe the conditioner won't feel so bad."

"Yeah, maybe," Scootaloo said half-heartedly. That meant there was only a slim chance of an accidental touch now that Rainbow Dash was being careful about her spanked bottom. Sure enough, she hardly noticed anything while her sister finished up with her tail and rinsed even the conditioner off.

"There we go. You can finish up washing and wait outside. I still gotta wash my mane." Rainbow Dash said, before adding with a smirk, "Or you can hang around here if you'd like."

"Yeah, this cloud-shower is pretty awesome. Wish we had one at home too."

"They're pretty swell, but getting clouds for them every few days is hard work. And it'd cost a lot if I didn't get them for free from work."

Scootaloo plopped down on the floor, lifting a hoof up to her chin. "Oh. I didn't even think about that."

Rainbow Dash poured some more shampoo on her hoof and started spreading it onto her head.

That's when Scootaloo had the most amazingest idea ever. "Rainbow Dash?"

"Mmh?"

"Can I wash your mane?"

Rainbow Dash opened up one of her eyes. "What? You serious?"

"Yeah!" Scootaloo jumped up, her wings buzzing. "You did it to me so now I get to do it to you!" She did a full circle around Rainbow Dash. "Please? Please? Pleaaaase?"

"Okay! Okay!" Rainbow Dash said, and promptly fell onto the floor onto her stomach. "You win."

"Tehee." Scootaloo walked over to the prone Pegasus and reared up, lifting her forehooves into the air. She slipped a little on the wet floor, ending up bonking Rainbow Dash on the face with one of her hooves.

"Oww! Watch it!" Rainbow Dash said slightly nasally, holding her muzzle.

"I'm sorryyy! I slipped! I promise not to do it again!"

"Grhmhrmm..." was the only answer Scootaloo got. This time, she started to rub the shampoo into the rainbow-coloured mane very carefully. The strands of hair were coarse, far more than her own, she noticed. There was also a lot more of it than she'd thought. Now that the mane was completely wet, it ran the whole way from the top of Rainbow Dash's head all the way down her neck and onto the floor. Scootaloo made sure not to step on it to avoid any more accidents. She started from down her sister's neck, almost from her wingtips, gently rubbing the shampoo into Rainbow Dash's mane. The mare in question had closed her eyes and let out a content sigh, so Scootaloo knew she was doing something right. She let her hooves travel all over her sister's neck, finally touching the two ears sticking from the middle of the sea of colour. They flipped and flopped around under her touch and Rainbow Dash grunted. It almost sounded like a laugh.

"I didn't know you were ticklish, Rainbow Dash."

Rainbow Dash turned her head towards the filly. Even though her eyes were closed and her face was covered in shampoo run-off, the glare was clearly there. "Let me tell you one thing, Squirt. I am not ticklish. If you ever say that again, especially around other ponies, so help me Celestia you're gonna get it."

"S-sorry! I promise not to tell anypony!" Scootaloo said in a hurry. When the eye-less stare turned back forward, she was left to wonder what Rainbow Dash meant with 'get it' anyways. Was she going to tickle her? Or... something else? Would she... spank her? That was a stupid idea. Why would her big sister ever give her a spanking? Except... if she'd done something bad and it was that or tell her dad... Scootaloo shook her head, wondering why she would even think such things. They were friends and she was washing her mane and everything.

Just like family.

The thought flashed inside her head like a stray bolt of lightning from the raincloud above. Rainbow Dash was family for her now. Being like a big sister meant she was like family to her. That's why she'd really liked her washing her mane. It was just like her mom had done to her before she left with that other stallion. The thought brought a smile to her face, but it soon vanished as another, scarier, thought appeared.

Applejack gave spankings to Apple Bloom when she misbehaved. She'd seen her switched rump several times. So would Rainbow Dash do the same to her? Just like she'd done with Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon? Put her over a chair or pull her over her lap? Scootaloo felt the rain very gingerly on her bottom right at that moment. The same burning inside her had returned, or maybe it had never gone away completely after having her tail washed. It was like an itch that she wanted to scratch.

"I think you've washed that part three times already, Squirt."

Scootaloo fell onto her rump from surprise. "S-sorry! I was, err, I'm new to this!"

Rainbow Dash didn't answer, only snuggled her head between her forehooves into a better position.

The last part Scootaloo hadn't yet touched was the tuft of hair usually hanging on Rainbow Dash's forehead. It would be a bit difficult to reach, especially now that the cyan blue ears were clearly a no-go zone for her. She carefully circled around to stand directly in front of her sister. Trying to balance as best as she could, she reached for the last bit of mane and started rubbing it. Then something horrid happened between her legs. It felt like someone had made her sit on something really cold. A shiver ran all through her body and even made her flutter her wings. When she looked down, she understood what had happened. Her private parts were almost touching Rainbow Dash's muzzle, and when she exhaled, the breeze had hit her directly there. It happened again, as soon as she figured it out. The feeling was awful, but at the same time, absurdly exciting. If she'd spread her hind legs just a teensy bit, Rainbow Dash's muzzle would touch her there.

"You done?" Rainbow Dash asked. Her eyes popped open as she felt her nose brush against something.

Scootaloo felt her heart stop completely, as she understood that her big sister was staring directly at her most private place after having just rubbed against them.

Rainbow Dash's eyes turned upwards. "The conditioner, maybe?"

"Yes!" Scootaloo jumped backwards, barely holding her balance as she tiphoofed on her hind legs before returning onto all fours. She quickly grabbed the bottle from the shelf and ran back. She ran too fast, in fact, and slipped onto her back and slid against the wall behind Rainbow Dash. She ended up looking directly up into the raincloud, accompanied by some stars.

"You okay there?"

A familiar face with a raised eyebrow appeared into Scootaloo's vision. "Yup! Crashing is—"

"...just learning to be awesome. How many hooves am I holding up?"

"Two?"

Rainbow Dash looked at her extended forehoof, then shrugged. "Ehh, close enough. You'll live."

Scootaloo rolled onto her stomach and pushed herself up. The room did a pirouette, but other than that, she was completely fine. "Oh yeah! The conditioner!" She picked the bottle from the floor.

"Umm, not that I wouldn't appreciate it, but maybe I should just do it myself? Wouldn't want you slipping again."

"Oaww! But I wanted to do it," Scootaloo grumbled, kicking an invisible pebble on the floor, almost losing her balance in doing so.

Rainbow Dash patted her on the head. "You did a great job with my mane."

"Oh." Scootaloo sat down, in large part because of her head still buzzing slightly. She shook her head to clear it off. "I just, I dunno, thought it was pretty nice when you did it to me and, well, isn't that the kind of stuff sisters do?"

A silence fell in the room for a moment. Scootaloo looked up to see Rainbow Dash looking at her with a weird expression. It seemed like the mare was torn between two things. She then nodded. "You know, maybe you could do my tail? I can finish with my mane."

"Sure!" Scootaloo said, jumping up from the floor and dashing behind Rainbow Dash.

"Umm, shampoo?"

"Right! Sorry!" Scootaloo once again slid back to the bottle and again to the awaiting tail.

Rainbow Dash flicked it up from the ground, but stayed prone. She grunted a bit as she started applying the conditioner in her awkward position, ponies typically sitting down on their haunches when doing it instead of lying on their bellies.

Pouring a large dollop of shampoo out onto her forehoof, Scootaloo got to work. She started at the base of Rainbow Dash's tail, spreading the liquid all over the colourful hair. It was just as coarse as the mane had been, but there was something she noticed immediately.

"Why don't you have any tangles in your tail?" she asked before even thinking about it.

"It's called 'brushing'."

"Oh, right." Scootaloo sat down, just running her hooves through Rainbow Dash's tail, spreading the shampoo while she was at it. "I never brush. It's so difficult to reach there and it takes so much time..." She fell silent for a second, then added, "...and kinda hurts."

"That's because you don't do it often enough."

"How often should I do it?"

"Well, I brush my mane and tail every day."

"Really?" Scootaloo fidgeted with the tip of Rainbow Dash's tail. "Umm..."

"Spit it out."

"I just didn't think you'd do stuff like that. I mean, you're always doing stuff or napping so I didn't think you had time."

"Just because I rest my eyes... once in a while, doesn't mean I don't take care of myself."

Scootaloo twisted the tail around her forehoof. "Sorry."

Rainbow Dash looked over her shoulder and grinned. "I mean, what if somepony took a picture of me when I was doing something awesome and I looked like a mess?"

Scootaloo giggled, relieved she hadn't offended her idol. "Maybe I should start doing it more too?"

"Yup."

Scootaloo soon finished with the tail, but when she started rinsing the shampoo off, a glimpse of the cyan buttocks underneath it made her think. She lifted the tail up carefully, making sure that Rainbow Dash was still working on her mane. Scootaloo took a peek underneath to where the mare's private parts were. It was the first time she'd seen what a grown-up mare looked like close-up. There was a puckered little hole near the base of the tail, but it wasn't really what caught her attention. It was the thing right below it. She knew her own was just a tiny slit with a little mound and two tiny teats near it—most of the time you couldn't even see them against her coat. But Rainbow Dash was different. Her slit was, for lack of a better word, open. The darker blue edges were puckered outwards, reminding her of something. She twisted her head to the side and thought that they looked exactly like lips. A giggle escaped her mouth and Rainbow Dash immediately shivered, lifting her tail up high. Too late, Scootaloo realised that breathing onto those lips would feel really cold to her big sister as well.

"What are you doing back there?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"I, umm, just, under the tail. Washing!"

Rainbow Dash sat up, looking into the rain as well. She rinsed the conditioner from her mane and then put some on her tail. "You wanna finish and then grab us towels? They're near the door."

Something in Rainbow Dash's demeanor made Scootaloo worry that she was in trouble. She did as her sister asked, quickly washing her face and moving onto her backside. Her forehoof travelled directly to her tiny slit. The thought of touching herself there made her hesitate. Rainbow Dash was just next to her, so the risk of getting caught would be humongous. The burning inside her wasn't letting up and after the several near-misses all shower long, it had gotten worse and worse. Should she just try and ignore it? Or maybe if she just rubbed it a little bit, it might help. With a trembling hoof, she touched herself. It felt even better than she'd thought it would. At the same time, it hurt a bit, but felt really good as well. She quickly pulled her hoof away, checking if Rainbow Dash might have noticed. Her big sister was washing her face, apparently all in her own world, completely clueless to what the little filly next to her was up to. Scootaloo gambled another long stroke along her private parts, feeling the same burning sensation growing even more intense from the touch. She inhaled sharply, then opened up her eyes to see a pair of red eyes looking at her.

"You ready to head out?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Scootaloo nodded, not knowing what else to do. She was sure she'd gotten caught and would now be in big trouble with her sister. Sure, she'd been facing towards Rainbow Dash. Was it possible that because she was so much shorter than the grown-up Pegasus that her hoof-work had gone without notice? Or maybe she'd thought she was washing there. Yeah! That's it! She had just been washing there. Nothing wrong with that.

Her cheeks burning, with embarrassment, Scootaloo walked to the door and picked up two towels. They were both huge, grown-up-sized beach towels, but they were the only two on the rung. Behind her, the rain finally stopped and her sister walked up to her. She tensed up, afraid that she'd get scolded or tugged by her ear, but instead, she just felt one of the towels vanish from her grip.

"Thanks," Rainbow Dash said, her voice muffled by the huge towel on her head. She rubbed it against her mane, tossed it onto her neck and walked out the bathroom door, letting in cold, dry air from the bedroom.

Scootaloo shivered as the air hit her wet coat. She tried to open the towel, but it was so big that she fumbled it and almost dropped it to the floor. She barely caught it on the way down, balancing precariously on her hind legs. Twirling around on just one hoof, she was able to push it against herself and the wall, neither towel or filly hitting the floor. She let out a breath of relief. After another try, she got the towel half-way open and tossed it onto her back, walking proudly out of the bathroom.

Rainbow Dash was sitting on the edge of her bed, drying the last of her mane into the towel. One look at Scootaloo made her laugh out loud.

"What's so funny!?" Scootaloo challenged, knowing full well it was going to be something to do with the towel.

"It's... it's... couldn't you find a bigger one? I might have some sticks and we could build you a tent." Rainbow Dash rolled on the bed, holding her stomach from laughing.

"Bah!" Scootaloo said and dropped the towel. Now that she looked at it, it really was ridiculously big for a filly her size. It having the text 'Welcome to the Little Island' didn't help.

Rainbow Dash saw her expression, which only made her laugh more. She collapsed onto her side on the bed, her hind leg twitching.

"Not funny!" Scootaloo shouted, sitting down with a pout.

Wiping tears away from her eyes, Rainbow Dash sat up on the bed. "There were normal-sized towels there too. I just forgot to pack these in the cupboard after our pirate adventure."

The pout vanished in a fillisecond. "Your what?! Why haven't you told me anything about a pirate adventure?!" Scootaloo rushed to her big sister and gave her the most intimidating glare she could.

"I was going to, but then stuff happened. It was just last weekend. Remember how me and the others went to the beach to set Fluttershy's pet fish free? We got mixed into a really weird adventure there."

"Tell me! Tell me!" Scootaloo said, her expression turning into one of anticipation, mirrored by her excited wingbeats.

"Sure! It's a sweet and sappy story about a lovestruck pirate, looking for his lost darling mermaid princess with a map—"

Scootaloo put her forehooves into her ears. "Eww!"

"I thought you wanted to hear all about it?" Rainbow Dash said with a smirk.

"I changed my mind, okay?" Scootaloo turned around to look at the towel on the floor. "I'll just go get another one."

"Nah," Rainbow Dash said. "Why bother wetting another one when you already started with that one. Come here." With that, she grabbed the discarded towel from the floor.

Scootaloo walked up to the bed and was immediately thrust into darkness underneath the huge blanket of a towel. She tried to struggle under it, but two strong hooves started rubbing all over her mane, drying it off. She finally gave up, just standing there like a little foal after a bath, completely humiliated. The towel was pretty rough, and when it didn't outright tickle her, it felt like sandpaper on her coat. "Owww! That hurts, Rainbow Dash!" she complained when it felt like the sides of her neck would be getting raw.

"Really? Sorry. I just thought you'd be tougher than that."

"I am tough!" Scootaloo yelled, gritting her teeth unseen by her tormentor. To her relief, the pressure on the towel greatly decreased and it no longer felt like it was about to peel her skin off. Suddenly a smiling face appeared from underneath the corner of the towel, surrounded by a halo of light.

Rainbow Dash tossed the folded towel onto Scootaloo's back. "Turn around."

Scootaloo did. It was only then she realised that her big sister was going to dry her rear-end as well. She was about to protest, but the thought of those hooves rubbing against her private parts made her just swallow. A sharp tug on her tail told her that it was being worked on at the moment. Then it went down her sides, and then...

The towel wrapped around her hind leg, going from the ground up to the exact place she'd been hoping and dreading. It sent a jolt running through her body and made her gasp aloud.

"Still that tender, huh?" Rainbow Dash said.

After that, the towel was merely pressed softly against Scootaloo's bottom, no longer rubbing. It never even came close to where she wanted it to. She felt betrayed.

"All done."

Scootaloo turned around. "Thanks," she said, but with very little enthusiasm in her voice.

"Yeah, I remember how bad your butt feels after getting the switch. Even sitting down on a pillow was awful." She picked up her hairbrush from the bedside table. "Want me to brush your tail for you? This brush is really good for it.

"I think I can do it myself," Scootaloo said, but even she didn't believe her own words.

"If you really want to, but those were some nasty tangles. Sure wouldn't be nice to try and tug them out yourself." Without warning she bit onto Scootaloo's tail and pulled her closer.

"H-hey!"

"I'll try not to touch your rump, so don't worry." Rainbow Dash pulled the hairbrush carefully through the tip of Scootaloo's tail. There were already several tangles to work through.

"It's not that bad, really." Scootaloo said. She wasn't sure if she should be happy or disappointed about the events. "I mean, my butt. It doesn't hurt, like, almost at all."

"You know, you don't have to lie about it. I can tell from just looking at it that it's sore. Probably will be tomorrow too."

"You think there'll be marks tomorrow?" Scootaloo's thoughts immediately went to her father, asking some very difficult questions if she went home with a striped backside.

"Mmm... maybe. You're lucky to be orange." Rainbow Dash chuckled. "Guess how long you could see the marks on my blue butt."

Scootaloo didn't answer, her mind swirling around getting into trouble the day after despite already thinking of being in the clear. "Y-you know, maybe I could hang around here tomorrow too. And maybe the next night too?"

Rainbow Dash stopped her brushing for a moment. "I got stuff to do in the afternoon and I promised to hang out with Fluttershy after."

"I could just stay here? I promise not to make a mess and..." She looked around, trying to find an excuse, spotting a pile of books. "You have all the Daring Do books! I could just read them all day long!"

"Even if I could leave you here, how wouldd you get down to the ground if something happened? There isn't a ladder here or anything. Besides, I told your dad I'd take you home before noon."

"Yeah, heh. Before noon. Riiiiighowowowww!" Scootaloo's words turned into a whine.

"That's one huge knot dealt with. I don't think there are any others that bad."

Scootaloo shook her head. It hadn't really hurt that bad. If only Rainbow Dash cleaned her house more often. There was so much dust around that it kept getting in her eyes. She had to bite her teeth together a few times more when the brush found more tangles, but it made short work of them. Before long, Scootaloo felt the brush going through her tail with no resistance. "Wow, did you really get them all out?" she asked in amazement.

Rainbow Dash showed her the brush with big clumps of purple hair stuck on it. "Yup. This thing's awesome for tangles."

It was the first time Scootaloo had looked at the polished wooden brush properly. She hadn't realized how big it actually was. Even in Rainbow Dash's far bigger hooves it looked a bit too big, with a thick handle, and a wide, flat end with the bristles thicking out. There was even a long cord on the handle, probably for hanging it on the wall. "That thing's massive!"

"Blame my dad. He got it for me when I was a few years older than you are now. He found it in some antique store in Canterlot on a work trip and bought it for me." Rainbow Dash turned the brush around in her hooves, showing the curly engravings under the smooth surface of the flat end. Her eyes glossed over a bit when she went trotting down Memory Lane. "We had a huge fight about it. I'd wanted a new brush and had set my eyes on a really expensive one. Then he got me this huge old thing. I didn't even think I could lift it, let alone use it." She shook her head, her expression slightly sad, even though she smiled. "I threw it at him and ran to my room. A few minutes later, he came in there too, with the brush. That was the first time I got spanked with it."

Scootaloo backed away from the brush, her eyes wide. "Y-you got spanked with that?"

Rainbow Dash's eyes focused back on the filly from their thousand-mile stare. "I don't even know how many times. It was pretty much the only thing my dad used after he got it." She put it back onto the end table. "Lemme tell you, that thing really stings."

Eyes still wide, Scootaloo gulped and nodded. In her imagination, she was over her own dad's lap, that wide hairbrush raining heavy hits all over her backside. She shivered.

"When I moved away from home, dad made me take it with me. Told me I should keep it to remember how to behave." Rainbow Dash smiled again. "Best thing for tangles too!"

Scootaloo was still staring at the brush, but she then suddenly realized just how much purple hair was on it. "Do I have any tail left?" Scootaloo asked jokingly, though she was at least half-serious.

"I dunno. Aren't short tails a thing now?"

"W-What!?" Scootaloo spun around, trying to get a glimpse of her tail. "How bad is it?!"

Rainbow Dash hid her face behind her forehooves, but couldn't keep the laughter from bursting out. "Bwaahhahahaa! Gotcha!"

Scootaloo turned on to her and flailed at her with both forehooves. "That's not funny!"

The outburst only made Rainbow Dash laugh harder. She dodged the weak punches and rolled away on the bed.

Scootaloo tried to follow, but she forgot to look in front of herself. Her hooves got tangled in the towel she'd used before and she fell onto her face with a yelp.

Rainbow Dash didn't waste any time. She jumped onto her little sister, pinning her on the floor.

Squirm and struggle as she might, Scootaloo couldn't move under the far heavier pony lying on her back. She refused to give up, but when a heavy blue hoof started noogieing the top of her head, she finally yelled "Uncle!"

Rainbow Dash rolled from the filly's back onto the floor and lay there on her side, still chuckling slightly.

"No fair. You cheated," Scootaloo huffed. She got up and turned around with a harrumph. She felt a hoof travel up her bottom, which made her jump up and spin around again. "H-hey!"

"Serves you right for shoving your butt into my face," Rainbow Dash said. "Still looks pretty sore, though."

Scootaloo wanted to jump on the mare for round two, but the compassionate words had blown through her bluster. She rubbed a hoof on her bottom, feeling several welts still protruding on her skin. "It hasn't really been that bad after you rubbed it at the Clubhouse. It made it feel a lot better," she, looking away.

"Want me to do it again?" Rainbow Dash asked, completely nonchalantly.

Scootaloo's eyes almost bulged out from her face. "What, really?"

Rainbow Dash looked a bit awkward. "I was gonna ask if you'd want me to. I know how much it helps and I have some lotion I could use. But only if you want."

"That'd be awesome!" Scootaloo said, her previous gusto returned ten-fold. It had made her feel really great at the Clubhouse. It was also then that Rainbow Dash had touched her for the first time. Probably by accident, she thought, but maybe she'd do it again?

Rainbow Dash got up from the floor and climbed onto her bed. She picked up a large, thick cloud that had been stuffed inside a pillowcase and dropped it in the middle of the bed. "Lie on your belly on that. I'll be right back."

Scootaloo looked after her big sister as she walked out. Not waiting for another second, she jumped onto the bed. It felt even better than it looked, she immediately decided. The bed felt like it wasn't even there, yet for a Pegasus, it completely supported her weight. It was heaven compared to the boring mattresses she had in her own bed. She rolled around a few times, the bouncy surface tempting her to jump on it and maybe even try a somersault. The approaching sound of hooves on the stairs stopped her at the last instant. She quickly dove onto the pillow. It was a lot firmer than she'd thought and she almost rolled over it. She had to back up a bit to find a comfortable position. Only then did it hit her that it was the exact same position she'd always been in when she got a spanking. Sure, she wasn't on her father's lap, but earlier that day she'd been just like this on the chair in the clubhouse. Again, the heat in her abdomen returned and made her shiver.

"You comfortable there?" Rainbow Dash asked. With a flick of her wings, she landed behind the filly.

"Your bed's really soft. It's just that, umm..."

Rainbow Dash sat down. "Something wrong?"

"It's silly, but I just felt like I was waiting to get spanked with my butt up in the air."

There was a small pat on the small of her back. "Nah. The only thing you're gonna get is some of this after-sun lotion I picked up at the beach. It should make your butt feel all cool and nice."

Scootaloo moved her hindquarters around nervously, but didn't say a word. Two strong hooves took hold of her flanks and pulled her back. To her great surprise, she was then grabbed by her ankles and her legs were spread wide open. She could hear Rainbow Dash shuffle closer on the bed and felt the mare's hind legs between her own, holding them apart. She put her tail down between her legs on instinct to cover up her private parts.

"You mind lifting that out of the way?" Rainbow Dash said.

Scootaloo hadn't expected her sister to pull her legs apart. It probably made sense so she could put the lotion on, but it also meant that she'd be completely exposed. Ponies were naked all the time, but that was doubly the reason why they kept their tails low. She remembered her mother scolding her for 'flagging' her tail if she didn't remember to keep it down. She'd even gotten a smack on her bottom in public for lifting it up it by accident. That was the last time she'd ever needed reminding. "Umm, but, you'll, you know, see."

"I don't think there's going to be anything under your tail that every other filly wouldn't have. Or me, for that matter."

Scootaloo lifted her tail up. The thought of exposing herself so fully made her whole body feel like she was blushing. The burning she'd been feeling earlier came back with a vengeance. The thought of herself, rump in the air, legs spread, tail high, being rubbed and touched all over with slippery, lotiony hooves...

The first drops of the lotion landed on both of her buttocks. She gasped from surprise. Rainbow Dash started first with one hoof on her bottom, the other following suit. In a word, Scootaloo felt heavenly. She hadn't realized just how sore her rump was, but now that the cooling lotion and the tender hooves worked their magic on her skin, she let out another sigh, this one of great content. The hooves weren't in any hurry, taking their time, doing large motions all over her flanks, her legs and her buttocks. Scootaloo felt her hips pushing down on their own. She lifted her hindquarters up a bit to get back into position. Then it happened again.

"Hey, uh, Scoots?"

There was something very weird in Rainbow Dash's voice, Scootaloo thought. The usual mocking bravado was gone, replaced by something far softer. "Y-yeah?"

"Your mom isn't around, right?"

Why did she want to ask about that? That was old news anyways. "She left with another stallion a long time ago. She writes sometimes." It was a pure rote. She'd said it a million times.

The massage continued for a moment, before Rainbow Dash spoke again. "Do you have any adults you spend time with? Like, well, mares?"

"Nah. It's just me and Dad." Scootaloo thought for a moment. "And you, of course!"

"That's what I was afraid of."

"Why? Is something wrong?" Scootaloo asked, her voice tinged with worry.

The rubbing continued. "Scootaloo..."

It was the first time Rainbow Dash had called her by her full name in a long time. Now she knew she was in trouble.

"...I noticed you touching yourself today."
