Dash's mind was fogged by memories, dark memories she could never forget. They turned from haunting images to constant nightmares. All these images ever did was devastate her. They held her athletic self hostage, leaving herself depressed 24/7. The nightmares never gave mercy, they kept on replaying in her mind over and over again. Tonight's nightmare was different however, it was an image of her friend, the first friend she lost. She lost most of her friends, leaving only her, and Twilight. This image haunted her with the constant cries of her long gone friend Rarity. The image then projected itself replaying itself to leave Dash in tears again. Halfway through the image,  her mind began to fade into darkness once more.

--

Rainbow shot up from her bed in her house. She looked over to her right to find her clock ringing constantly. Her hoof gently stopped it's ringing. Her view jerked itself to her left to find a calendar hanging from the wall. "January 2nd, Pinkie's funeral." She felt her heart sank. Pinkie was the last of her friends to die. Rainbow was devastated enough from viewing every one of her friend's deaths, it mad her mood worse going to their funerals. Every time she was called up to the mic, she always cried after finishing her speech. Funeral after funeral, her crying changed in different ways. But, her friend Pinkie was her friend, there was no way she could change that fact. Devastation or not, Pinkie would've wanted her friend to show up at her funeral more than anypony else. Rainbow sighed and got ready to head down to Sugercube Corner, where Pinkie's funeral was being held.

"Rainbow, you seem to look worse than you usually were. What happened?"

"I'm fine Twilight, I'm fine."

"Are you sure? You seriously don't look well."

"I said I was fine." Dash then heard a different voice.

"Rainbow Dash, would you like to say a few words?"

"Um, yes, I think I would." She slowly made her way up to the microphone.

"Pinkie, she was a close friend. She could brighten anypony's day up in her own way. Nopony truly understood how her personality, but she....she was my closest friend, and the best one I could ever ask for"

She sat through the entire service, crying her heart out. She prepare to set off for her home, only to be stopped by Twilight.

"We need to talk."
