                    Chapter 1 Ambushed

Chapter 1 Ambushed
The Armored jeep drives off along with the tanks  jets choppers the six inside the jeep are wondering when they would be going home. Squad omega has six members a Sniper, a Support an engineer and 2 assaults these solders miss there loving wives back home but were deployed from them. The sniper wore a face wrap around his face and a helmet he held a 50.Caliber rifle in his hands he stared out the window while they drove the support had a standard arm helmet on his head he wore a pair of sunglasses also the engineers had camo hats on, the assaults wore face gear along with helmets there eyes were protected by the goggles they wore. The jeep stops they open there doors and begin to get out they walk half way across to the gas station until a RPG hits the pumps the jeep was blown the tanks along with it they quickly find cover and hold there positions.
“Omega squad to HQ we are pinned downed by hostile contacts!” the sniper yells through a radio he waits a few minutes and there’s a response.
“Copy that lieutenant Shadow magic take them out.” A female voice over the radio he turns it off and picks up his rifle
“Alright boys command want these sons of bitches dead take them out!”  Shadow yelled, the assaults stood behind there cover with M16 assault rifles and opened fire the supports also take fire Shadow runs up to the roof and pulls out his 50.call and waits for the enemy to come out of hiding.
“Eclipse RPG THEM!” one of the assaults yells one of the engineers pulls out a RPG and fires straight into the enemy trucks one of them survived until Shadow shot him in the head.
“Omega squad to HQ contacts neutralized requesting evac.” Shadow says walking down the stairs.
“Copy that lieutenant evac on the way 0.7 minutes” the voice over the radio says again he leans up against a wall and looks at a necklace he was given by his wife he opens the locket and sees a picture of him and a purple haired girl with a pink stripe holding a little baby girl and a older one beside her.
“I will return and keep my promise to you baby.” He says to himself an evac chopper lands and they get on it.

While in the chopper above the capital of Mareis the squad remains silent until one of them see Shadow looking at the locket and the pilot speaks.
“You got a lady back home lieutenant?” the pilot says looking forward.
“Yeah all of us do and some of us have kids also.” Shadow speaks to the pilot the pilot laughs.
“Well consider yourselves lucky I was never married and may never be married.” All of them enjoyed the laugh and they landed the squad landed in prance and they walked through the camp and half of the solders stopped what they were doing to stare at them.
“Is that omega squad I never thought they would be deployed here?” one solder said.
“HQ must be desperate to deploy these guys there legends stopped the start of WW3.” The team found there tent and went in to rest Shadow removed his face wrap and helmet showing his hair for the first time Black with a blue stripe in it. His hair was messed up but he liked it like that.
“I wonder how the girls are doing back home.” An assault says holding a picture of a girl with purple hair with a huge curl in it.

Ponyville 0.900 hours before there deployment the war was still young before omega squad was deployed then. They enjoyed there calm peaceful lives. Omega squad recently was deployed three years back to stop the beginning of WW3 capturing the one responsible for it but princess Celestia herself used a spell to reform him.
The squad member’s settled down with wives and started families of there own. Shadow settled down with the librarian of the library and had two little girls they all brought a smile to him the Assaults and other members married her friends.  When omega squad was about to deploy there wives were devastated when they have to leave. They watched with there children as they drove off to the airport. The six women took there children back to there houses and they all went about there day the librarian home schooled her children like they wanted to be.
A woman with a large curl in her hair cheats on her husband with the school teacher the one who was connected to nature was usually taking care of animal with her little girl. The librarian was about to turn in for the night until she sees her little girls sleeping on there fathers side of the bed she sits besides them and rubs both there heads, and looks up at the stars and speaks out loud.
“Oh Shadow your children miss you please come home safe from this war.” She kisses her little girls heads and lays on her side to the bed and covers all of them up and looks at there children as they clutch to the pillows tight .

Squad omega was gearing up for an assault on an enemy hide out they geared up filled clips of spare ammo sharpened there combat knifes and walked out to the jeep and got in and drive off.
“Omega squad your objective if to capture an enemy who is very important.” The general said over the radio the squad made it in time and was getting ready to kick in the door and prepares to attack.
“OK everyone ready Skull get ready to breach.” A assault nod and get put is M16 to the side and kicks the door in they all sneaked in a guard was watching the opposite side Shadow sneaks up behind him and slits the guards throat.  The squad was walking through the building until a Silenced pistol wielder sneaks up and shoots one of the squad members in the leg he falls and then turns to shoot the attacker one of the assaults stays behind with him to treat his wound the rest went on.  They squad makes they’re way into the room where the target was and is getting ready to ambush him. Shadow kicks the door in and throws flash bags in blinding the them they walk in and slices the throats of the gun men leaving the leader alive.

Chapter 2 the desicion
Cantorlot sniper school Tuesday 23 0.800 three years ago, Shadow Magic was listening to his teacher as he learned to be a sniper he was enrolled by his wife’s older brother due to shadow gift with a rifle.
“Alright there’s one thing you need to know, you may be holding a sniper rifle but it dose not mean you’re a sniper, the only way your considered a sniper is when you earn your hogs tooth.” The teacher said and dismissed the class Shadow walked out and back to the place he and his wife were staying at while he was taking the class his in laws home they were amazed that Twilight married a skilled sniper. He returns to his temporary home and is greeted by his wife.
“Welcome home Shadow Magic how was your class?” she asked giving him a welcome back hug and a kiss on the cheek he smiles. “It was great but I did find out that I’m not considered a sniper until I earn my ‘hogs tooth.” He says she perks up
“I read about that it’s when you take out snipers who looking for you and you take the bullet out of his gun that was meant for you.” Shadow looks at his wife and then nuzzles her.
“You been reading my book have you.” He looks at her and she just smiles and kisses him.
“And what if I have you knew I would anyways.”

(Present day)
Shadow was on the roof tops with his spotter while his team was on the ground in a firefight. The sniper has five confirmed kills in this fight now that the high value target is on his way he takes aim and waits. The spotter was ready to look for the transportation the target would be in. soon the spotter  went backwards and Shadow looked at him and saw a bullet wound right in his head  he picked up his radio.
“Spotter down spotter down there’s an enemy sniper in one of the buildings!” Shadow scanned the area and spotted the Sniper and took the shot and killed him the target showed his face and Skull fired his assault rifle killing him, the rest of the enemy was killed and the squad could rest. The Team got in jeeps and they drove off to the base in the deepest part of the city and the team goes into there tents and debriefed but soon they be on there the way to the airport to head home. The enemy army came bursting the base with trucks and machine guns there target the squads tent Shadow and them ran out to the jeep and all got drove as fast as they can one of the gunner shot his 50 caliber and hits shadow in the Shoulder and leg Crimson sees it and starts to treat him
“GO FASTER SHADOW’S HIT!!!!” he yells Eclipse hits the gas pedal and goes faster and a chopper gets in front of them pointing his gun them and lets off Eclipse hands his rocket to Kelvel and he shoots it but the tires were shot and Eclipse loses Control
“OH SHIT!!!!!!!” the whole group yells the land Straight in the water and the jeep starts to sink
The group almost panics and then the group all talks about getting out Crimson finishes patching up shadow but his left leg was broken Shadow looks at the squad and looks at them
“GO save yourselves” he says they all look at him and they all say together.
“WHAT!!!”
The Jeep was sinking and Omega Squad was looking at Shadow as he was stupid he told them to save them selves and leave him behind to die they all looked at each other remembering the good old days when they met to joining.
“GO save your selves leave me behind its no use.” He takes off his dog tags and hands them to Eclipse.
“Were not leaving you Shadow we all made a pack if one dies we all die.” Crimson snapped at him Shadow handed his gun to Skull.
“Give my dog tags to Twilight tell her and the girls I love them.”  Skull nodded and took aim at the window and was getting ready to fire.
“Skull don’t do it we staying with him”. Eclipse said Skull fired the pistol and water flowed in like a new lake was being made the omega squad members all swam out except Shadow he sealed the entrance with the escape raft and waited for death.

Omega squad reached shore and soon the commander was contacting them.
“Omega squad come in pick up lieutenant.” The commander said waiting Skull picked up his radio and answered.
“Command this is second lieutenant Skull. Shadow is dead.” He waited for them to reply.
“Say that again solder. Did you say Shadow is dead?” the commander said shocked.
“Yes sir we lost an omega squad member today.” Skull replied.
“May Celestia have mercy on him.” The squad members all got into the evac plane and was on there way back home they arrived in a few days to break the news to there families and Twilight.

On the day they arrived they walked out in there uniforms, there wives watch them come out one by one and Twilight noticed Shadow was not with them. The surviving members hugged there wives soon Skull approached Twilight with Shadows dog tags in his hand.
“Where is Shadow Skull? Please tell me he not trying to scare me?” Twilight asked with a worried look Skull looked down and held out his dog tags in his hand.
“He….He gave his life to save the rest of us I’m sorry Twilight he didn’t make it.” Twilight took the dog tags in her hands and then wrapped her arms around Skull crying her eyes out all of them looked and saw the dog tags in her hands.
“Is he….Dead?” Applejack said looking at Crimson he nodded and all of them went to comfort her.
Twilight looked at the dog tags seeing his name in them then she found the ones he carved his and her initials into it when he was a Corporal
