Ponies, and gamers
Getting ready for the rescue
Previous ChapterNext ChapterOur group made our way through the parking lot, picking off lone infected. There were no special infected in the parking lot, so securing it was easy. The ponies kept their positions behind my friends, and I. Colin hummed a lulliby song as he crushed a zombies head with the stock of his automatic-rifle.
"I don't think that fits the situation, colin!" Jarrett shouted, grining. I decided to check on the ponies, poor ponies, they're probably going to be traumatized because of this. I quickly turned my head. Rarity was freaking out, and jumping at every gun-shot, Twilight was writing somthing in a notebook. Probably writing down everything that was happening. Fluttershy was hiding behind Rainbow, who quickly turned her head the other way when our eyes met.'Was she just staring at me?' I thought before just shrugging it off. AppleJack, and Pinkie were trying to get there minds off the fact that we were stuck in a practical hell-on-earth, by playing a game of simple "I spy"
"I spy with my little eye... something red!" I heard pinkie say to AppleJack.
"Pinkie, you're making this too easy. You've been doing "blood" for the past three turns!" AppleJack responded, looking annoyed.
"It's not blood silly! Try again" Pinkie said, bouncing like nothing life-threatening was happening. AppleJack sighed, and looked around.
"... The fat ones shirt" AppleJack said flattly.
"HEY!" I heard Colin yell behind me, "I can hear you!"
I rolled my eyes before turning back around.
A couple minutes later
"I think that's all of 'em" I said to my friends, who, like me, thought that every last zombie in the parking lot was dead. My friends nodded, and Jarrett turned to the ponies.
"C'mon, we're leaving!" Jarrett yelled to the six Equestrian beings, that were with us. The ponies gathered up behind us, and we readied ourselves to set out, everything was calm, we could hear the sound of car alarms, and gun-shots in the distance, but where we were. Everything was quiet. Atleast, until Jarrett walked past a pearl-white colored car, and two zombies opened the door of the back seat. One was a child, that had ripped cloathing, and blood all over his face, the other was an adult wearing a black T-shirt, and wore broken glasses.
Jarrett quickly got rid of the older infected, then he grabbed the young one, and chucked him across the parking lot. A couple seconds later I heard a thump, then a cat screeching.
"Well, that was humorous" I simpley stated. I heard a giggle behind me, and it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who the sound belonged to. Rainbow. I looked over to Jarrett, and he mouthed somthing that looked strangly like he was saying 'I think the rainbow haired one likes you' but I couldn't be sure.
"Okay, let's move out, hopefully there won't be any distractions" Colin said, impatiantly. I nodded, and led the group to the entrance of the parking lot. I took only one step on the road before there was another inturruption. Don't be annoyed though. This one was a GOOD inturruption.
The sounds of helicopters filled the air, and we saw multiple goverment-issue transport helicopters fly across the sky. I stood on a hood of a nearby car, to get a good look at where they were heading.
"Welp, boys, girls, ponies... and Colin" I saw Colin narrow his eyes at me, and I grinned. "It looks like we're going to a amusement park!" I said. "As it apears to be where those helicopters were heading," I said.
"Let's move out!"
