Luna's New Star Chapter 1 Falling Star

It was a beautiful Spring day and Princess Celestia was organising the formal sunset ball. Luna was watching her from a distends seeing ponies walk up asking for help and trotting away happily. Luna then saw Twilight and all her friends enter the garden. Luna quickly smiled and waved but they didn't wave back or even look at her. Luna's smile slowly drifted away and turned to a frown, Luna then got up and walked to her sister.

"Celestia?" Luna said looking up at her sister.

"Yes Luna." Celestia smiled

"Is there anything that I could do to help with the celebration?"

Celestia's smile then turned into a frown.

"Oh…umm…maybe you could help the chefs."

Luna then smiled and trotted to the kitchen. When Luna finally got to the kitchen she was surprised to find Applejack and Pinkie Pie icing cupcakes.

"Well hello princess Luna what do we oh the pleasure?" Applejack said as she put finished icing a cupcake.

"I would like to help with the cooking." Luna said as she smiled gleefully

"Oh..well you see-"

"We don't need your help" Pinkie interrupted smiling

Applejack gave Pinkie Pie an angry look then looked at Luna with a sorry look.

"Oh I see well I'll be on my way then." Luna said as she turned around and closed the door behind her.

Luna walked back to the garden slowly looking at ground and dragging her hoofs.

"No one ever wants my help." Luna whispered to herself

"Luna!" A voice called out in the distends

Luna turned around still looking sad, it was Celestia and she noticed that Luna looked upset

"Luna where have you been I've been looking for you every where. Where have you been?" Celestia said as she leaned down and look at her sisters face.

Luna looked up in her sister's eyes with disappointment.

"I was in the kitchen like you said." Luna looked away

"Oh…I…Luna we need to get ready for the ball." Celestia then walked away but in her heart she new that she couldn't just leave her but ever since nightmare moon Celestia and Luna had drifted away and they had never had the time to talk about it.

"I'll be there in a minute."

After five minutes past by and Luna was finally ready to go to the ball. When Luna arrived everyone was already there. Pinkie Pie was on the stage right next to Pon3 wile Rainbow Dash was dancing with the Wonderbolts. Luna then spotted her sister talking to a small group of ponies.

"Luna there you are come and talk with us." Celestia called out

As Luna walked walked past ponies she heard them whisper and step back as she pasted them.

"Oh Celestia thank you so much for inviting me and my husband to your sunset ball." Said the closest pony

"Yes it is an oner to be invited by the princesses but are you sure it was a good idea to invite your sister I mean remember what she did last time?" A clot said leaning in close to Celestia

Luna then felt tears fill her eyes as she herd him say those horrible things about her. Luna started to run away squeezing through the crowds hearing him say that again and again but back with princess Celestia there was more.

"My sister is not a monster!-" Celestia said as her anger grew

"No! I didn't mean that at all it's just-" The colt replied worry grooming on his face

"You have no right to talk about my sister like that so if you excuse me I have to go!" Celestia said raising her voice

She them saw her sister running off in the distance and whispered to her self.

"Oh no, I'm so sorry Luna. I'm so sorry."

While that was happening Luna was trotting through the ball when she was stopped by a group of ponies and colts asking her questions.

"Oh, Princess Luna I was just looking for you."

"Princess I was just wondering-"

"Oh I'm so sorry every pony but I must be going." Luna replied trying to keep her tears in
