Seventy long years brought about this era; a new dawn for ponykind plagued with Harmony. Entire regions lay so withered and utterly desolate that wing and horn turn vestigial. The sky is oftentimes black or obscured entirely. Through this grim darkness of the post-apocalyptic future, life persists, barely. It is found in the depths of arcane shelters or other places. But those few surviving invariably fall to the vices of pure emotion: fury, greed, hopelessness.

Seeking refuge in the early years, a small commune of Hollisi now live with heads bent below shadow; predatory eyes reflecting what little light lurks in the overwhelming darkness of Fallback, and that of their individual lives. And yet with them lives hope: A lithe stallion, forever unknowing of what song to play, and his viola.
