PROLOGUE: THE BIRTH OF TWILIGHT SPARKLE

A loud scream was heard throughout the Canterlot Castle's medical wing. Outside of the door, which held her highness, Princess Luna of Equestria, Prince Shining Lunamoon, paced around worrying for his mother, Princess Luna. The staff tried to get him something to eat or drink. But every time, he politely declined. After an hour of waiting, the doctor came out of the room and motioned for Shining to enter.

"Twins." Luna held the two girls in her arms, the one in her right arm was a lavender alicorn with dark blue and pink and purple stripes in her mane, her eyes were dark purple, like Luna's sister Cadence, whilst the girl in the left arm was a light blue, resembling Luna's mortal form, and had light blue and silver hair her eyes were lighter than her sister's. On the trip through the castle, tourists looked at the infants curiously, and others congratulated
