For years the Equestria Games were made to play sports, and have fun while representing your city. But not anymore. Sixteen years since Discord took over Equestria, destroying the Princesses and making way for chaos, the Equestria Games have been about brutality and murder, mocking the joy and happiness the Equestria Games normally made for ponies.
Discord divided Equestria into twelve parts, known as Districts, and demanded that each year, two pony tributes be chosen from each District to compete to the death in a pageant that would be televised for the world to see, and to be celebrated in the only place where the ponies were not affected by the Games; the Capitol.
For this is the Fifteenth Equestria Games. And it is not going to be pretty.
