%2% The Doctor
It was a sunny Thursday, well, it looked sunny from the basement window. I had just woken up and remembered that today was my birthday. I could hear my mom upstairs cooking something, my birthday cake I would imagine from the way it smelled. I heard my mom walk towards the basement.
"Oh, you're awake, I just finished your cake" she said as she noticed me sitting up. "I was getting ready to go to the store" She grabbed the shopping list of the fridge and trotted back upstairs. I heard her take her keys in walk out the door, softly closing it behind her. "My mom is awesome" I thought before dozing off to sleep again.
I woke up to a weird sound. At first I thought it was my mom back from shopping, but a quick look at the clock told me that she had left 10 minutes ago, my mom NEVER takes less than 10 minutes to do her shopping. Hearing the noise get louder, I ruled my mother out. Instead, I got up to investigate. Before I could move, BOOM, Sunlight streamed into my room along with dust and smoke. I blinked in the sunlight. God, I hadn't seen actual sunlight in six years. Just then, I noticed what had made this hole in my house. I was staring straight at a blue police box.
I don't know how long I stared at the box, but next thing I know, the door to the box opens and more smoke fills the room. When the smoke clears, I finally see the pony that caused all of this. The first thing I noticed was brown, he had light brown fur and more of a darker brown mane. I also noticed a bright green tie wrapped around his neck.
"Ummm are you... alright?" I asked carefully.
"Hmmmm? Yes of course, I'm quite alright.Sorry about the mess, I sorta landed-crashed. Cranded, yes, I cranded into to your house. Anyways... I'm the doctor!"
"The Doctor?" I asked. "Doctor Who?"
"Just the doctor!" He responded with a chuckle. "And what's your name?"
"Crimson" I said. Why did I already trust this colt so much? I thought because I had answered with no hesitation.
"Well... Miss Crimson, my TARDIS seems to run out of time energy, do you know where I could find a vortex manipulator or some sort of time energy, like a big fancy bunch of... time?"
Vortex manipulator? Time energy?! What was this crazy pony ranting on about! "I don't have the slightest clue about anything you just said!" I exclaimed.
'Well of course you wouldn't!" He sounded rather annoyed. "Derpy would know what to do right now" He whispered under his breath.
"Who's Derpy?" I asked.
"Oh nobody! Just thinking out loud." He said a bit too quickly, like trying to hide away old memories. So why don't you make us a nice cup of tea while I get to repairing what I broke.
"Tea? ummm... sure I'll make some tea"
I wondered how he was going to have the place all cleaned up by the time I came back down with the Tea, but lo and behold, when I came back down with 2 cups of tea in my hooves, my basement had a ceiling again.
"How did you...?" I stared at him in awe.
"Oh, just a quick transfusion from the past to the present nothing much I just took the image of your room from the past and transferred it into right now! Everything should be exactly as before!" He said simply.
"What are you even talking about?!" I exclaimed.
He took a cup of tea fRom my hooves and led me towards blue police box. "Here I'll just show you" He said opening the door. [Here we go] I thought [Into a blue box with a strange pony! I must be going insane]
"Welcome to the TARDIS" exclaimed the doctor too happily. "Time and Relative Dimension in Space."
I couldn't move, I couldn't even blink. "It... Its... It's bigger on the inside!" His grin widened as if this was exactly what he wanted to hear.
"Exacltly Crimson!" He shouted while pouring his tea into a hole in the center section of the impossibly large room. "And your tea should be just enough" He flipped a switch and the whole room buzzed like when i would play music insanely loud in my basement.
"This is my time machine, and next stop, the time crack in London to get this baby fully recharged."
Just then did I notice his cutie mark, an hourglass! Everything clicked then, the doctor was a time-traveling pony, and we were both headed straight for London in a blue police box powered by tea.

%3% How we accidentaly destroyed Buckingham Palace
The TARDIS came to a sudden stop. According to the Doctor, we had made a perfect stop, right in the middle of London. i was still skeptical about wether or not this was real until I walked out the door.
"OH MY GOD" I half squealed. We had landed in a big park, there were trees everywhere and in the distance, you could see Big Ben. 'We're in London!"
"Weeelll, never mind the center, I might have missed a bit, but yes; we're in London and we have about two hours to trot around and see the city before the TARDIS is ready to go again. What do you say?" He asked looking over my shoulder.
I was too amazed to respond. I just walked into the park. I had just travelled to the other side of Equestria in less than 30 seconds. Wait, time, what day were we?
"Interesting! London in the 1980s looks a lot more advanced than when I came here last time!" I could hear the Doctor talking while I picked up a newspaper Laying on the ground.
"Umm Doctor, this newspaper says that we're in 2026" I commented.
"Oh, well I might have forgotten to lock on to the right time stream properly" He answered, sounding too casual for comfort.
"Are you saying you don't know how to fly your own ship?" I asked quizzically.
'Let's explore the city, shall we?" He asked, completely ignoring my question.
"Fine, let's go" I figured arguing with this crazy pony was going to be impossible.
As we walked towards the city's center, something popped up in my mind. "How come no one noticed a blue box appear out of thin air?" I asked suddenly.
"The TARDIS has a perception filter on it, you won't notice it unless someone brings it to your attention" He replied.
"Oh, because that makes everything sooo much clearer" I responded sarcastically.
"Well I'm glad you learned something new" He said very seriously. [Ugh, this pony is impossible] I thought to myself.
Just then, we heard a scream coming from an alleyway close by. "That's not normal" Said the Doctor sounding worried.
"YOU DON'T SAY" I yelled, already galloping for the alleyway.
"Crimson... Wait WAI- Ugh fine, slow down" He called galloping right behind me.
When we got to the source of the scream, we saw a younger mare, maybe 14, huddled in the back of the alleyway crying softly and whispering "Just let me wake up! Please..." Over and over again.
"Are you alright?" I asked softly as I approached the young mare.
"Please... Let me wake up, make the snakes go away" Moaned the young pony.
"The snakes?" Asked the Doctor.
"Hush" I told him before turning my attention back to the red and blue lump of tears. "I'm not going to hurt you." I told her softly. "My name is Crimson Light, what's yours?"
The mare finally looked up. Tears had soaked her bright red fur. Her fur was the same color as my mane, a fiery bright red. Her ocean blue mane was a tangled mess. "I'm... I'm Ocean Flare" She sniffled.
"Well Ocean, let's get you back home." I tried to put on a comforting (everything's going to be alright) tone. "This is my friend the Doctor, and he might know a thing or two about these snakes you're talking about."
Ocean hesitated for a moment before shakily standing up. "Alright... but could we grab something to drink first?"
"Sure thing kiddo!" exclaimed the Doctor "I saw a coffee shop on the way here. We can head there and you can tell me about these snakes."
"Kiddo? Really?" I asked the Doctor on the way to the coffee shop. He said something about time travel making sayings complicated and caught up with Ocean.
I went inside to order the coffee while the Doctor and Ocean talked about snakes. When I got back outside with the coffee, Ocean was a lot more relaxed and willing to talk about her "Dreams" with the Doctor.
When the questioning was over and Ocean had returned home, the Doctor finally filled me in on what was happening.
"So, this mare, Ocean is having nightmares about snakes hiding out in the Buckingham Palace. A quick scan around the perimeter alerted me that she is not the only one having these nightmares. More and more ponies are getting the snake dreams every night and they also seem to be getting more intense. So I'm guessing that we are dealing with some kind of parasite that is collecting information about the equestrian kind through their dreams." He said quickly.
"Wait, You're guessing?" I asked Incredulously "You have no idea what these things are?"
"No idea whatsoever!" He put on a crazy face. "So what do you think about a trip to Buckingham Palace?"
"Whoa Wait!! So you want to get into Buckingham Palace to reason with snake-things that are gathering information through dreams?'
"Exactly" He replied too eagerly.
"Great! Just great!" But I did have a plan to get into the palace for the night. "Well do the oldest trick in the book. Hide in the bathroom until the Palace closes for the night, then we'll crawl out and all we'd have to do is watch out for the sleepy nighttime guards." I suggested.
"That's sounds like a terrible idea, but it's worth a shot!" He said carefully.
So later that day, we hid in the palace bathrooms until closure time. We then crawled out into the darkness of the palace and started looking around for some sort of clue. For once everything was going perfectly, until we literally bumped into a guard. Faster than we could react, sirens were blaring and we were running from security guards. We kept running until we came upon a ladder. We climbed it hastily, the Doctor locked the trapdoor at the top with some kind of buzzy stick machine, a sonic screwdriver he called it.
"There, that should hold the guards for a while. We should be safe now" He was about to continue talking when I interrupted him.
"Ummm Doctor. Why don't you take a quick look around the attic for a second?" I said nervously.
We were standing on a platform next to a big machine, and all around us were very large snakes staring at us with puzzled and aggressive looks.
"Well at least we found what we were looking for!" Said the Doctor with a nervous chuckle. Then addressing the snakes, he said "I'm the Doctor and this is my friend Crimson. We demand you to stop this operation and return people's dreams to the state they were at before."
The snakes started to hiss, almost as if they were laughing. "Ssssooo tell usss Doctor, why sssshould we?" Hissed one of the snakes.
"Umm Doctor, did that snake just talk?" I asked unnerved.
"Yes, Well not really, the TARDIS translates every language! That's why you can understand them!" He told me, Then he turned his attention back to the snakes. "Because your life support unit is right next to me and my sonic screwdriver can very easily turn it off and you all know what happens when the life support is off!" He said triumphantly
"But you wouldn't dare, because it would create an explosion that would destroy this whole palacccce! Including YOU!" Hissed another snake. "Ssssoo we refuse to stop the operationssss!"
"Then I'm so, so sorry, but you should never underestimate a fully charged TARDIS!" He pointed his sonic screwdriver at the machine, took my hoof and yelled GEROMINOOOO before leaping into thin air.
Fire from the explosion blasted outwards just as the TARDIS materialized around us! The last thing we heard from the snakes was "We curse you doctor! The Matrilians curse you!" and a lot of very colorful words.
"Ha-ha! What were you saying about me not being able to fly my TARDIS!?" He yelled cheerfully.
This time it was me who ignored him. "We just destroyed Buckingham Palace!" I said out loud.
"So I'm taking that as you want to go home?" He said, he sounded a bit sad.
"I guess..." I responded blankly not knowing what to say.
When we got back home, I said my goodbyes to the Doctor and plopped down on my couch. All my problems hit me like a train*. While traveling with the Doctor, I had forgotten I had no Cutie Mark, no physical relationships, I had forgotten everything bad when I was with the Doctor. Then I wondered why the Doctor hadn't gone yet when the TARDIS door opened and the Doctor walked out.
"Umm Crimson... Well I was wondering if... You know it gets lonely traveling alone... and well... would you like to accompany me in my future travels?" He stumbled over his words and grinned sheepishly.
"Are you asking me on a date?" I said jokingly.
"No! I mean... Ugh!" He let out an exasperated sigh.
"Of course I'll come with you, you silly pony! I haven't had as much fun in my entire life as I have in the past two days" I exclaimed.
We both headed back into the TARDIS laughing, ready for new discoveries. Just as the TARDIS light faded away from view, a blue light appeared in my room and two golden robotic ponies stepped out into the light.
