Imagination is limitlessby TepheraChaptersPrologueChapter 1Chapter 2Prologue The things that I have done in the over-world has made a mark. Things that could be changed by me and only me. I could build the greatest castle anyone can imagine. I could do miraculous things with my two hand's that I have shaped with both by my blood and sweat. My house that was once a simple wooden cabin, now turned into a four story mansion. As far as I know, diamond is the strongest substance in the over-world which I can manipulate. I tried with the villagers but they don't have hands. They just walk around and murmur a mute grumble. As for I, I just know what I have learned, which would be crafting and my name. That name is Steve. And I have just found something VERY different from the over-world from what I know. Whatever those creatures were I would like to know more about them. And just show them what they need to do in order to survive. But I should start of how this little escapade of adventure these creatures has brought me. There was also a story I told them. A story about how I think I came to be, and this world. But that is for another time. You see, I was at my mine usually keeping an eye out for coal. I was running low so the un-explored ravine that I had found two days ago would do for now. There was barely any of the substance I was looking for down there so I just kept on digging with my iron pick with small enchantment's like Efficiency I and more. Seeming that mining was a fruitless endeavor and use for my pick I climbed back up to the surface with merely five pieces of coal in my inventory. With more than needed cobblestone too. Sighing I looked back up to the sun and found that the last rectangle ray of light disappeared from my sight from a sand dune. Darkness was vastly approaching and I need to get back to my shelter. Why? because creature's made from un-godly fear come and roam the world until daylight. As I was saying, I was following the way to my house from my gravel road littered with torches and glow stone. To be true I thought I would be safe from the creature's which roam the night. But I was wrong. While nearing my destination I heard a chilling sound. Groans, clanking bones and the hiss of a Creeper. Now running, Opening the door to my mansion, I plopped down on my red wool bed and rested to the on-coming day. When I woke I did the same things that I do in the morning's. Eat some pork-chops, whack some wood, and just go out. I went for the mine again but along the way something caught my eye. A bright flash came. Curiosity taking over of my body, I came to a clearing. Needless to say I was in a big surprise for what I was going to see. Which was the day I saw those creature's. The total of them were six. All verifying in color: Pink, orange-y kind of pallet, a light lavender, pure cyan, which in turn had a multicolored mane, cream, and cloud white. They also seem to have some type of pictures on their, flanks? But I don't mind that as I stare at the creatures intently. As I watch, their breathing was dangerously shallow. This can only happen by damage yet I don't see any wounds. But there was a problem, I didn't have any potions with me. Knowing this I got slightly panicked. Wood splintering was heard behind me with zombies, spider's, skeletons and many more. This confused and scared me to no end since there were much more of them then other nights. Grabbing some armor from my inventory and sheathing my sword, I walked cautiously toward the door. The splintering became more frantic every time I took a step but that didn't phase me. I let my hand cover the door knob and swung it open, simultaneously swiping my sword left and right. The three zombies in front of me fell, blood covering my armor from the attack. All of the mobs then went at me all at once. Even though they can nearly survive a day, I have lived for thousands of years. Using some experience, I poured it into my blade. And with a hefty swing, a blast of energy swiped across the area killing most mobs almost instantly. But they kept on coming. Even drained, I kept on fighting. Arrows nicked my armor and exposed skin but I didn't even flinch. I have had much worse injuries in the past. I jumped, swung and stabbed so may of them I forgot the count. A red tint glittered by my eye and craned my neck over. The sun was near rising. Smiling I continued my volley of attacks on the mobs. Zombies and skeletons burst out in flames taking out nearly half of the army. I ran at them cutting every one of them, body or bone, I didn't care. Spiders fled without notice. While a creeper was impaled by my sword. All of the mobs then fled back into the shadows while the dead burst into dust and clouds. While I stood, arrows and scratches lining my body in many places. Blood covering my armor and my blade. I stood exhausted and breathing heavily. 'I guess i am getting old' I chuckled to my self and dragged my sword back to my mansion. I was limping from an arrow dug deep into my knee which was hard to even limp. I then got to my door. Slowly lifting my hand I opened it. The creatures were still asleep yet a bit more comfortably. I tried to head to my spare bedroom but I found myself on the floor. I tried to stay awake but to no avail they closed. I tried to stay awake but my eye lids won't respond. Shakily. I turned myself onto my back and letting the darkness wash over me in relive. The last thing I heard was horrified gasps but it was to late. I was already asleep. Chapter 1-The End- Screeches and groans filled the empty void where the unspeakable monsters transcend once slain. Endermen stood two times their height in the dimension. They were all scattered like the grains of sand in the wind. Numerous nightmares crawled and limped through the inky blackness while the Enderdragon flew ahead silently stalking the occupants. His face scrunched in annoyance and irritation once he recalled the six that entered The Overworld. He wasn't happy, and so was another nightmare. Only he was out destroying some mountains or making oceans of lava right about now... He shook his head prepping to take flight finding that he had landed while thinking. The six will hopefully not be a nuisance to their plans. Besides, they were simple horses, minus the colors. Only controlled by instinct and static to their nature. They are just animals. His maw turning into a toothy scowl. 'He'll be back soon. I wonder how many mountains and trees he blown up this time.' He thought. A blast threw the Dragon off his course. reeling from the sound he dived towards the ground, breaking the white stone beneath him. Peering into the gaping hole from one of his towers. Chunks of obsidian blown from the explosion crushed many nightmares among their decent. Numerous curses were heard along with a really aggravated demi-god stomping through the rubble. Once the god was finally visible, The god slammed a blocky hand onto a nearby zombie, crushing it to pieces. The dragon bellowing a cry at the god, his scales rattling from his body disintegrating the stone beneath him. Annoyed with the god he quickly ceased, calming down till his eyes came to iron daggers. "Not now putrid Drake It seems as if your nightmares are dying more than we could respawn them. Remember the battalion of monsters I moved out a few days ago?" The Dragon squinted his eyes nodding slowly. ''Yes, about them, they are now inside coma therapy after their battle with Steve. Apparently, he has been hiding a few tricks with his sword play. Most of them were cut in half, others were blown up with creepers. Poor tortured souls went insane. They made me know in great detail how he slaughtered them. I can only imagine the carnage that happened before they spawned..." The Dragons eyes widened in surprise uttering a small whine from his maw. "Yes, surprising alright. But don't be angry, a fellow... associate... of mine told me about them. They are what are called 'The Elements of Harmony'. And do you know what happened to my associate after they fought? He was turned into stone...! If they were to make a replica of their gems and use them against us, we'll be gone, for at least a millennium! Thankfully that Steve doesn't know that he can enchant gems too." He flung his arm spilling out brown and white mist appearing in his hand a book with a peculiar purple six pointed star. "As far as I can tell the purple is the most strongest one, magically standard though, I can not read this writing but the illustrated drawings do quite help. The blue one is fast, the orange one is again, strong, but this time in physical strength, the yellow one is the weakest, but is the most protected, the white one can also do magic, but not as strong as the purple one. the pink one is... mixed for a lack of the better term." The Dragon, while listening, was interrupted by an Enderman, telling him about the whereabouts of the six and Steve. The dragon dismissed the Enderman and rattled his scales gaining the attention of the god. "Oh really? Well that's going to be a problem. Especially that new mansion he has built inside. Torches are never our friend. Lets go on and plan ahead. Send a few creepers and zombies to spy on them. Their not as reliable as the others, but effective in all categories." The Dragon nodded one last time deploying the nightmares with a swish of its wing, purple smoke danced across it before dissipating into nothingness. "Now, we wait..." Chapter 2Equis (With a quite boring narrator) Twilight Sparkle was a hero among ponies. Yes she had some of those bumps in the road but she always had somepony always look after her, from brother to parent and now, friends. Her friends, the great and courageous ponies that helped her from the beginning. From the return of Nightmare Moon, and the re-awakening of the rampaging chaos champion, a foolish, dark pony wielding the darkest secrets of magic itself. All of which have been defeated. Because of these deeds, she has become a princes, The Princess of Magic and Friendship along with The Elements of Harmony. But the last battle that they fought made them more then laying broken. Their original rulers now gone and trapped. A being filled with all the magic that ponies once had. And the Chaos Ruler? He has betrayed them, even to his dearest friend. Her friends weakened from their magic being drained and gone. Cutie marks were of the past, now bare flanks as they once were from the day they were born. Even the slightest of movements could cripple them. They would need magic, for their life... Even the Princess of Friendship would be found at the brink of hopelessness, at the very pinnacle of unconsciousness she and her friends dared to look back up. And all they saw was the thing that took everything from them. Everything that they've known and loved. The very sole creature who defeated them. They both had bargained in the end. She would give everything for her friends, even her very essence that made her the Element of Magic. But even then it wasn't enough. Not the limitless powers Celestia or Luna. Not even the chaotic randomness of Discords conjurations. No. He needed to go further. Everything in the whole country of Equestria, or even possibly the world, could not fall him. Not anymore anyway. They could only watch with their glazed, soulless eyes as Tirek bellowed a deafening slew of laughs. It echoed throughout the winds and shook the mountains to it's core. 'This is it...' Twilight thought. 'I'm sorry girls... I'm so, so very sorry.' Tears start to trickle down her cheeks. 'But, at least I will be able to see you in just a bit...' Twilight's eyes start to close, ever so slowly. 'Just... Let me-' Her vision blurs. "Sleep." "Huh-?" And then everything went dark. _-----_ In another world... (With a quite different narrator...) Torches flickered in the breeze of the chilling winter wind while small snowflakes start to drop from the sky onto the grassy ground below. The sun is just starting to peek just over the horizon casting it's warm glow and banishing the shadows from the night. In the distance one could faintly see an outline of a carefully placed hut on the edge of the cliff. While pained groans and the sound of what is like a bag of bones being jostled around starts to fill the air. And to some people, it's the sound of heavens angels singing. And to others? Not so very much. In fact, It's actually quite terrifying. "What the...? OH MY CELESTIA!?" A voice shrieked. Hmm, do you see my point? "Wha-?! W-where am I!?" The voice said again. Quite obviously flustered. You see, Twilight Sparkle was also not the most stable of ponies either. And in truth, everything that she is seeing, is not making it anymore better. What she is observing right now is quite literally so mind breaking to her that she has actually been staring at it for quite awhile: A pile of dirt. And you see, it was a very nice pile of dirt which she has to admit. Soil is relatively loose making it ideal for farming and/or gardening. Quite healthy and has little to no debris within it. It's just for one fact that boggles her mind: It's a square. Complete with a whole one meter in length, width and height. Ninety degrees on every angle. It's just so p-e-r-f-e-c-t... That, and it's also floating one meter in the air. She, is very confused If I may say so. She waves a hoof side to side between the block and the ground where there seems to be nothing beneath it. She floats upwards and does the same to the top. Nothing. Such simplicity confuses her. But before she could keep on observing such a strange phenomenon she also relies that the trees are also blocks. Including it's leaves. Her eyes widening she looks around herself, fully engaging everything that her eyes lay upon. And the first thing she sees is a very big arachnid five feet ahead of her. And it too is made of blocks. And- is that a skeleton riding on top of it? Her pupils dilate and- oh my. You may want to cover your ears as of right now... "AHHHH~!" _-----_ *Pcssssh~ 'Heh, the sound of sizzled beef in the morning with eggs will not get old...' Steve thought a he stirred the coals in the open oven. Walking away from it as he opens a chest beside it, shuffling through it's contents before standing up with a hearty amount of apples in hand. Going towards the front door while the pressure plates do their 'magic' opening the door into the chilly winter day. *Munch~ 'Mmph, I probably go and see what that weird sound was all about. Nearly made me stab myself with my own sword...' He turned his head down into the spruce forest below, crouching just on the edge. 'Nah, maybe later in the day. Besides, I killed a dragon just two days ago. These EXP will not use themselves. Nothing could be that different in just two days...' He walks back inside down the stairs into his enchantment room. 'Now... Show me what you got...' He smiles as he gets on to crafting.
