Beginning: A New Faithful Student
(Five months after The Summer Sun Celebration where Twilight met her friends)
Princess Celestia has just finished reading one of Twilight recent friendship report as she laid in her private study. A smile played across her face as she reread the letter her faithful student has sent her. "I knew it was a good idea to send you to ponyville Twilight Sparkle," Celestia said. "You have certainly learned many new things about friendship that not even all the books in Equestria could have taught you." She looked outside of her window and saw her sister Luna fly into the air as she raise the moon. "Oh Luna, its so great to have you back after all these years of solitude you had," she thought to herself.
Princess Luna finished raising the moon to its highest point. She slowly lower herself to the balcony as she watched everypony walk in the street and socialize with each other. Thoughts came to her about what happen during Nightmare Night. Every ponyville citizen was terrified of her and the way she felt during that moment was sadness. Luna remembered how Twilight was the only one who had given her a chance. The one who showed her how to treat her subjects. She was also getting used to her normal voice other than her Canterlot voice. It was all thanks to Twilight in the end.
"I promise to all of my subject." Luna flapped her wings as she rose up with her hooves in the air. "I will protect every single one of you!" Luna smile brightly to everypony she saw. It felt amazing to be back with her sister. On a beautiful night like this no doubt.
Suddenly, Luna ears perk up as she heard a noise that only she and Princess Celestia could have heard because of the distance. It was a commotion that Luna could not avoid. She flew from her balcony to the edge of the Everfree Forest as she had a worried expression on her face.
The sound of hooves running on the grass as a pony left the Everfree Forest could be heard. This pony was in bad conduction. His face was cover in scratches and his whole body cover in bruises. He, unknowingly, tripped on his own hooves while running and landed on his face while twisting his hind legs. He lifted his head and looked behind himself. "I've lost them," he thought.
He looked up as he saw Princess Luna land next to him. She put her hooves at towards him for comfort. "Are you OK," she ask him.
"Yes, I'm fine," he said as he tried to get up. Pain flowed though his body as he fell back down. He looked backed up to see the pony face. "P-Princess Luna?" he asked in disbelief.
Out of the forest came three timber wolves coming at full speed towards them. Princess Luna stood strong and tall as they approach. Seeing as it is a Princess they were going towards, fear quickly took over them as they started to run from them. Luna took a closer look at the pony that was injured. The pony look back at her as she realize what he was.
"An Alicorn, y-your an Alicorn!" Princesse Luna exclaimed. Only royalty were Alicorn, and this pony didn't seem royalty.
"Yes I am," he said looking away from Princesse Luna. He didn't want anyone to find out, especially the royal sister themselves. "Thank you for saving from those Timber wolves," he said. Luna took a closer look at the Alicorn. He was a light, almost as white, blue pony with a darker blue mane. He wasn't the size of Celestia or Luna, bug the size of Twilight and the girls. He seem strong and could defend himself at any moment. This discovery was exciting and a shock to Luna.
"We must get you to safety!" Luna said as she picked up the blue Alicorn. He tried to resist, but the pain was too much. "But what is your name young one."
"My name?" A small weak smile form on his face as a few tears fell of it. "My name is Stan." He fainted on top of Luna.
"Stan," Princess Luna repeat what he said. She looked at his body to see the condition that he was in. A couple of scratches and bruises but he wasn't in any critical condition. She sigh as she lifted his body up and started to fly. She flew by her beautiful moon as she looked towards its direction. Luna couldn't help but think about what was an Alicorn during in the Everfree Forest. She didn't expect any of this so far. She looked at Stan from behind her. He was strong, but she knew by the look on his face that he was in a lot of pain. She lit up her horn to heal some of the wound he had, but not all of it. She needed to take him to her quarter to examine him, but also had to tell Princesse Celestia about this.
"Guards," Princess Luna scream. Three royal guards came to Luna.
"Yes, your highness," one of them replied.
"Tell my sister we have an injury pony in my room."
"Yes, your highness."
After they had left, Princess Luna started to gallop towards her room. One thing was in her mind, and that was the safety of this Alicorn, Stan. "I said I promise the safety of my subjects and I will keep that promise." Luna ran faster. "Especially if it is one of mine kind." Darkness was all that Stan was seeing as he fought to keep himself alive.
This is the beginning.
