I awoke with excitement bouncing up and down on my soft cloud bed yelling "This day is finally here! It's here!". My mom walked into my room and said "RainbowDash stop jumping on that bed right now or you are grounded! Besides,you know not to jump on that bed or one day it will just go.Pop!". I knew my mom was plulling my hoof about how I shouldn't jump up on my bed.She got up and got my bath ready.I thought about how the other fillies and colts would react to my blank flank. "RainbowDash! Your bath is ready! As soon as I heard my mom's voice I stopped thinking about the first day of school, and how I will manage without a cutiemark.
I ran down the hallway and jumped in the bathtub, my mom was suprised at how entergetic I was especially on the first day of school. She scrubbed behind my ear and I played with my rubber cloud and my wonderbolt action figure. "RainbowDash put your toys away.". I put my toys on corner of the tub and got out she dried me off, and brushed my mane. I told her that for the first time I was nervous about how they would react to my blank flank."RainbowDash I assure you that everything is going to be fine,and they are not going to treat you like your different."
I looked down at the floor while my mom put my saddle bag on me. "I assure you RainbowDash everything is going to fine now fly to school now.".I spread my wings and flew to school,the school wasn't very far away especialy since we lived close by. I lowered myself towards the ground and walked into the school made out of clouds. The teacher greeted us with much joy and told us to take our seats. I took my seat by a colt named Soarin' he was cutest colt the class. He was a year older then me, but I didn't mind. Sometimes I would daydream about me being with him, but with all great things theres also a cacth.
Spitfire, she was considered the fastest flyer in the class she was also a year older then me I always hoped he wouldn't notice her, but today I was out of luck. "Hey SpitFire, why don't you take the desk infront of me.".SpitFire nodded and walked over to the empty white desk."What to good to talk to me?" Soarin' said in a humorous way. Behind me I heard that mean and nasty voice again it was Dumbell and Hoops they were the meanest kids in school and everypony that had no cutie mark they would chant the same annoying thing. "blank flank,blank flank,RainbowDash and Fluttershy has a blank flank!".
Almost everpony laughed at me I was embarrassed and I covered my flank with my tail. I asked the teacher if I could go home early, and told her that I was going through some "things". She agreed and I flew home. This is the end of chapter 1.
