The Equestria Daily Writer's Training Grounds is a community event held on EqD every Sunday after the airing of a new episode. Participants have until Tuesday night Pacific Time to write a 1,000 - 1,500 word vignette based on a prompt. Submissions are then compiled and posted to Equestria Daily as a compilation post that Wednesday.

There's not a whole lot at stake with these events other than having fun and practicing the art linguistic together. Reading and commenting on other submissions is highly encouraged, however! Happy writing!
