Two Russians in a Mi-24 Save the Crystal Empire

Listening to his IPod that somehow came with him Artyom continued to approach the war torn city. 'No alliance, I will swear no oath!; he said along with the song. Looking to the radar something was behind them. Taking action he made a hard left bringing the helicopter to face his possible opponent. The momentum of the turn caused him to over shoot the angle but just made it look cooler. Facing my target I came beast to machine to a black dragon with a crimson belly and what looked like crystal armor. Its eyes were green, red, and what looked like some sort of aura was coming out of its eyes. First thing that came to mind was that it wasn't that scary, the reason is because I am flying in a heavy armored Hind loaded with weapons. Switching to air-to-air missiles I waited to see if it would do anything, actually I was praying it to do something. My prayer was answered as it charge roaring in anger only to literally eat a missile. First it looked taken back, then it the midsection exploded into a heep of gore and blood. The neck, tail, and lower torso were all that was left of the 'dragon' as the body parts fell from the sky. 'Well, that was a let down... hey zhopa! Wake up!' he said yelling into the radio. Yuri woke up in an instant flailing around as he did so.

'What?' he asked.

'Look around, but you missed an awesome battle between me and a dragon.' Artyom said turning his helicopter around.

'Bullshit, I believe it when I see the proof.' he said looking around.

'There's you proof mudak...' Artyom replied tilting the helicopter for Yuri could see the corpse or what was left of it.

'Oh... remind me to never piss you off.' Yuri commented.

'I will hold you to it, now lets get to that city!' Artyom acknowledged moving forward again.

Queen Sombra had her mind linked with her dragons, hearing it cry out in pain before a low *boom!* was heard made fear enter her. She hasn't felt fear in a thousand years, shaking it off she noticed a certain pony fighting one of her soldiers. His name was Captain Shining Armor, a soldier that really never earned that rank but still a good soldier if not cocky and underestimate enemies like the rest of the guards. His armor was dented and blood slowly oozed out of his wounds but he kept fighting on. Sombra taking her time slowly began to stroll over to him. A Lunar archer tried to fire an arrow only to be hit by a black and green beam of dark magic easily scorching a hole through the armor and flesh. Continuing her stroll, Armor cut through another undead nightmare before blocking a war-hammer with his now useless shield. Throwing it to the side along with the hammer he aimed for the neck, swiping the head came clean off its body floating their for a millisecond before dissipating into black mist. Sensing a presence behind him he swung his sword as he turned around only to be blocked by a dark crystal sword. Looking to its wielder his blood ran cold, locking eyes with Sombra... he was paralyzed. What felt like years where only a few seconds he hid his fear and pulled his sword back bringing it in front of him. She did the same but with one hand and and a evil smirk on her face. Shining attacked first swinging his sword, Sombra with quicker reflexes blocked the iron sword.

Unlike the Griffins, the Ponies stayed in their 'Roman' stage as Griffins griffins had muskets but poor ones at that. His iron sword easily bent due to the soft material.

Sombra pulled back her sword before trying to get a stab, missing letting Armor swipe and cut her cheek. She growled before twinging again this time cutting a slash on Armor's chest. He grunted in pain, before he could attack the black crystal blade was forced into his gut. Yelling in pain he fell to the ground after the sword was yanked out of the bloody wound. Laying their on the ground trying to stop the bleeding covering the wound; Sombra positioned her hoof over his neck ready to kill.

'Such a shame, you would have been a good slave.' she said. Before she could make the kill six pillars of white smoke flew out of the clouds, when they struck the ground the exploded into black smoke and fire killing her soldiers in the blast. Then a new threat emerged, a creature flew out of the clouds spitting fire and streaks of fire. The streaks made smaller explosions but easily chopped down her mares. The beast flew over her continuing down the road before flying down another street.

Only a few seconds before they were nearing the cities edge, Artyom was focused on the ones in black armor similar to the dragon's. He had a motto of many, and that certain motto was "do not attack unless attacked first" and they clearly attacked them. The city was also being invaded so he decided to assist whoever was defending it.

'Arm you weapons Yuri! We are going in!' Artyom said tilting the Heli a bit more forward.

'Yes.' he replied before testing his gun, seeing that it worked he aimed and waited.

Artyom pulled the trigger firing six HE rockets, they detonated in a group of soldiers in black armor charging at the main castle. Clearing the clouds Yuri opened fire sending the tracers at small groups while flying towards the ground. Flying between the buildings he turned left and continued down a different street. One of them with wings jump into the air rising up a spear only run into the blades, the body was torn to pieces in an instant turning into mist. As Yuri continued the onslaught spears, arrows, and bolts of black and green magic just bounce off the armor. Turning down a street they came face to face with a barricade, but this time it isn't maned by 'shadows'. Anthropoid Equines ranging from white to blue fur and gold to navy armor. They were holding off the 'shadows' but they all stopped when they saw the Hind. Yuri let out a burst of tracers killing the shadows closest to the barricade before killing the rest. The after math was just... mist. You would think there would be a few corpses or arms spread around the place.

'I have a bad feeling about this.' Yuri commented.

Flying on top of the barricade before turning around a horde of green... Orcs charging. The gun road to life as Artyom fired off some rockets. Now we have some gore, their bodies exploded into pink mist as the high caliber shells tore through their bodies and rockets sent arms/legs/head/etc everywhere from distorted air. After a full 10 seconds of non-stop carnage the road was torn to shreds by creates and mutilated corpses thrown about.

'Wankers...' Artyom said sounding like the sniper from tf2.

'Now what...' asked Yuri. After a few seconds the castle started to turn a black color. 'Left flank!' yelled Yuri as the Heli turned to face the castle. Artyom looked around the castle amazed and baffled on how it was even standing or created, while eyeing it he found a reasonable spot to drop off troops. Thinking of a strategy an plan was created in his head, he then lowered altitude opening the side doors in the main body.

The beast lowered to the ground with wheels and some sort of compartment in the main body. For a few seconds Sargent Silent Dagger (Lunar) stood their until she understood.

'Alright Corporal Moonlight Arrow, Private Bronze Sword, Sunlight Apple, and Great Hammer you're with me! We are going to use this beast to get to the castle.' ordered Silent Dagger, the mares saluted before getting into the beast. Moonlight Arrow was the youngest in the group at the age 19 as Silent Dagger was the oldest age 27. Sunlight Apple was a kind 23 year old Pegisus as Bronze Sword was the complete opposite age 26. Last but not least is Great Hammer a 21 year old neutral brute.
The first thing they noticed about this beast is that it's skin was metal, no it looked more like a machine. Moonlight looked into the top glass dome of the machine and stared at what was inside it. What ever it was gave a thumbs up before motioning her to get in. Complying she got into the compartment, after the machine lifted into the air as the blades turned faster and that thumping returned with a gush of air. It then flew towards the castle, the black crystal was slowly consuming the palace as well as the streets.

Queen Sombra was on the balcony with Princess Cadence nowhere to be found. The same ear pounding explosions from the tubes came back as the machine fired upon Sombra's forces. The same smoke streaks also flew out of their 'spear' thing. It flew over the street where Sombra's shadow and Orc army was positioned easily tearing through them sending body parts in random directions if not vaporizing them. Bolts of Dark Magic hit the machines hull doing nothing against the beast. Turning left the creature turned left positioning them over a platform, jumping down the machine flew off as Shadow Pegasi flew after it.

Night was beginning to fall as they made their way through the castle sneaking past Shadow Guards running down always towards the sounds of the machine firing it weapons. As they rounded the corner they foolishly met a room full of Orcs and Shadows.

'Oh, buck me.' said Sunlight Apple. Then the thumping of air became audible as it flew into view of the window on the other side of the room. Something detached from the machines wings as a fire-ball ignited from the tube and flew towards the room.

'Get down!' yelled Moonlight Arrow before they ran out of the room a great explosion shaking the castle. Fire erupted from the windows and door of where the tube struck. After a few seconds they looked back into the room the smell of burnt flesh and sigh of mutilated and cooking corpses. Great Hammer coughed up stomach fluids from the sight, Moonlight Rose comforting her.

'What kind of race would make such a weapon?' asked Sunlight Apple.

'I don't know, but we must continue on.' commented Moonlight Arrow. They made their way down another hall, this time it was dark crystal instead of blue. A patrol of Shadows came running towards them, as they readied their weapons the roar of the machine started to get louder as a search light shone threw the pillars. The Shadow army still kept the charge as the machine shot apart their ranks. Pulling back an arrow Moonlight shot a Shadow between the eyes, Sunlight Apple swung her battle-axe decapitating one after another, Hammer swung her war-hammer bringing it down on a Shadows skull, Bronze sliced through the mist of the monsters easily killing them. As Moonlight prepared another arrow she turned to meet a Heavy Knight charging towards her with a Claymore. Fear entered her as she watched slowly as the beast approached, then its head jerked backwards as a 3 inch hole after a *BANG!* was created into its helmet. It fell to the ground all that its armor clanging against the crystal before its dispersal in black mist. She stood their dumbstruck as another Shadow Knight charged from behind her only to be stabbed in the back by Dagger.

'What are you doing Corporal?' asked Silent Dagger as she stabbed a guard. Moonlight shook out of her trance as she readied her arrow.

Artyom was bored, the only thing he could really do is fire a few guided missiles time to time but now just watching was getting boring. Until he felt something against his leg, looking down he was met with the Snipers (tf2) stock sniper rifle. Picking it up he looked at it for a moment before opening the window as the choppers engine met his ears.

'WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!' asked your.

'SNIPING!' Artyom replied raising his sniper. Looking around he saw a Shadow with a claymore charging at an archer. Aiming his sniper over its head he pulled the trigger getting a satisfying head jerk. Recycling the bolt he aimed again for a shadow archer, firing again its skull exploded into mist and fragmented bone. Scoping another that was moving he pulled the trigger only to miss as the shadow ducked as the bullet flew by.

'Hold Still!' I yelled before finally landing a hit.

'Incoming Pegasus!' alerted Yuri. Pulling back the rifle he closed the windshield before pulling away.
