Human, but not quite.

Chapter 1: A short introduction

"Sunrise! Wake up, your sweating like a madpony!"

I guess she was right, I was very sweaty, but why?

"Morning to you too mom." I replied

"Breakfast will be ready in 20 minutes, hurry up a bit, you have school remember?"

As my mother walked dow-, My mind cut me off... wait how rude! Hi, My name is Sunrise Stallion. Recently I have been adopted from my new mother! ......My new father..... well..... lets say we wont be seeing him anytime soon... Anyways as I was saying, as my mother walked downstairs I got ready in almost an instant and ran down stairs for breakfast.

"You seem happy this morning Rise!" Said my mother

"It's just I want to meet Scootaloo and the others early." I replied

I'm not going to lie, I did have a crush on Scootaloo. She always seemed to make me happy around her, but I always feel so embarrassed around her. Once we got into a conversation and this is how it went.

"So, Rise.... I hear you did well on the test?" Scootaloo said in an unsure voice.

"Yeah, heh heh..... Sorrygottogobye!" I said as I was sweating like a mad pony.

Well ever since then I never got the courage to go talk to her. I figured today was the day.

"Bye mom! Love you."

"Love you too." She said smiling.

I ran over to the three girls walking to school. I'm sure they would be surprised to see me as they never see me walk to school. They only see me in class or eating lunch.

"Hi girls, mind if I walk with you?" I said hoping to get a good reply

"Not one bit." Applebloom said looking at Sweetie belle with a huge grin on her face.

Sweetie belle was blushing like crazy, why was that?

"Anyways as I was sayi- OMG Rise!" Shouted Scootaloo

I felt a slight pain rush right through me. I put my hoof on my face and felt blood coming out of my nose. Then I looked back at the scared girls and fell to the ground. I couldn't move... I couldn't see... I couldn't hear. It felt like hours of just feeling nothing and lying somewhere where nothing moved or infact NOTHING WAS HERE! It felt like no one bothered to pick me up and take me to a hospital. I didn't move one bit after falling. Suddenly I felt different. slowly the world around me was becoming blurry with color and slowly turning into focus.

'wow the colors were amazing! There is brown, blue but mostly red!'

As I continue to look around I start to hear again, only to hear the sound of screaming. I so badly wanted to run over to the screams and help but everytime I tried I kept falling. I looked down to see...

'What the? WHY DONT I HAVE HOOVES?'

I looked up and saw somepony, wait was that even a pony? Anyways they were screaming and crying. There was what seemed to be a mother and father with their child laying on the ground dead. I remembered this dream. It was one of the ones I always have but this one seemed different. This time there was a child. Before they were just crying and sobbing on the floor.

"GWWWAAAAHHHHH!" I shouted and started breathing heavily.

Huh? I wasn't in the hospital, but I was somewhere else. Then I heard a strange yet oddly familiar voice.

"Hello little pony..."
