Do not read this story if…

❧You are averse to adults doing somewhat questionable things with fillies, despite justifying context.
❧You don't like seeing main cast members of the show warped to evilness by a slightly more classical than is typical rendition of vampirism.
❧You don't like the idea of ponies having guns or television.
❧Scenes of brutal death are exceptionally off-putting for you.

Of course the kind ponies of Ponyville aren't callous enough to accuse a stranger of being a beast of ancient legend, nor cruel enough to suspect Fluttershy of hiding a sinister secret; that would just be rude.

Well, maybe one filly will. Just one.

Applebloom is supposed to be enjoying having her cousin staying over for a few months, but listening to Zecora rhyme about ancient evils has colored the filly suspicious of the stallion her older sister hired to help around the orchard, and Fluttershy's recent vampire fruit bat incident isn't helping matters.

Is it simply a filly's overactive imagination which makes the charming Jury Dambridge seem like an immortal monster? Is he just an eccentric coffin maker with an interest in helping Rarity restore the ancient castle in the Everfree? The Bloomster doesn't think so, and she'll stop at nothing to prove he is a vicious vampire count of olde. In so doing she might just find her life in danger and her sanity questioned by society.

TAG STRESSING: This isn't the darkest story out there by any means, but I chose that tag for a reason. Just a heads up.
