Here goes! Twilight Sparkle loved to fly. Since she had gotten her wings, she wondered how she ever lived without them. To her, flying was new. To her, flying was the greatest feeling anypony could ever feel. Every day, she flew. She flew until she was tired, then flew some more. When in the day and how long a period of time she flew depended entirely on each given day, because being a librarian and a princess simultaneously didn't leave tons of free time, and even then, she spent a lot of it with her friends. So, ultimately, she didnt spent all of her time flying, but she flew at least once every day. On this particular day, though, that would change. When she woke up, she stretched, and immediately noticed something missing. More specifically, two somethings on her back.  Something that before she got them, she didn't know how she ever lived without. She immediately tried to yank her blanket off of herself with her magic, to find that horrifyingly, her horn was missing also.  "SPIKE!!!!!!!" she yelled, causing the baby dragon to immediately be pulled from dreams of gems and Rarity into the reality of the real world. "wha?" he inquired, past the ability to fall back to sleep but still drowsy. "Why did you make me get up now? its not even 10!" "HOW CAN YOU BE TIRED RIGHT NOW!" Twilight screamed. "MY WINGS AND HORN ARE GOOOONE!" plus, she thought,I think i yelled loud enough.... Spike was awake in the second twilight said (more like screamed) those last words. "How could that have happened? Last time a checked, you were an alicorn, not an earth pony!" "YOU THINK I DON'T KNOW THAT?!?" Geez, you'd think twilight was taking lessons from Luna on how to do the Equestrian voice "yeah, yeah, i get it! And, I'm guessing you want to send a letter to Celestia?" "Oh, Spike, you know me so well. Yes please. Take a letter." ___________________________________________ meanwhile at the carousel boutique Rarity woke up and immediately had a fit. It felt as if someone had shoved to small pillows under her back while she was sleeping, and she believed that breaking into somepony's home, even for a simple prank such as placing pillows under somepony's back, was simply atrocious. She immediatley put a hoof to her forehead, and realized that something very important was missing. More specifically, her horn. First, she screamed. Then, she stopped when she realized that they weren't pillows under her back, considering she was now siting up and could still feel the "pillows" on her back. She put a hoof to her back, felt feathers, and screamed some more. ___________________________________________ also meanwhile, now at pinkies room at sugarcube corner Pinkie Pie awoke to, well, herself. She was shaking all over. That meant something was at that moment or going to be a doozy. And, at the rate and intensity she was shaking, it was a big one. At that moment, she felt something different. Something different on her back. She immediately used the new muscles that came with these new appendages, and found that she had two feathered wings. "Cool! i'm a pegasus!" She then felt (well, thought) new abilities that could be performed, and they were coming from her forehead. She put a hoof to her head and them screamed: "EVEN BETTER! I'M AN ALICORN!  WOOHOO!!!" ___________________________________________ a bit later, at sweet apple acres Applejack had taken her changes quite well. Most ponies would have freaked out at one day being an earth pony, and the next a pegasus, but not Applejack. She rather enjoyed her new wings. She had taken to flying quite quickly, and found she was rather good at it. Her favorite part about flying was the speed. Wait. Speed? Flying? Enjoying the speed in flying? that was Rainbow Dash's thing. She faltered, realizing what must have happened to Rainbow, and started to fall from the sky. ___________________________________________ rainbow dash, underneath the cloud house Rainow woke up as she hit the ground. She felt extreme pain in the center of her forehead, which she thought was just a really bad migraine from hitting the ground so hard. Wait. She was on the ground? Why wasn't she in her cloud home? She immediatly put a hoof to her back, and found that her wings, her most prized possesions, were gone. That was wh she wasnt in her home anymore. she couldn't walk on clouds anymore, which was why she was currently on the ground, her forehead and left hind leg hurting intensely. Wait. Her FOREHEAD? She immediately put a hoof to her forehead, and hit the point of her pain with more force that intended, causing her to scream very loudly. But, that wasn't the only reason she was screaming. She was no longer a pegasus, she was a unicorn. A unicorn, with no wings. NO WINGS. Her wings were GONE. Somepony (and by somepony, that would be Pinkie Pie) just happened to be flying by, and heard Rainbow's pained screaming. She called the hospital, and said that Rainbow dash was a unicorn now, was a pegasus yesterday, and had a broken leg and horn. The hospital, of course, thought she was crazy. Pinkie Pie yelled into the phone "JUST COME HERE ALREADY!!!" ____________________________________________ fluttershy, at the hospital "Are you s-sure?" She stuttered fearfully. "I mean, I know you must not get this every day, but I KNOW i was a pegasus just yesterday."  "Yes, Fluttershy," Nurse Redheart said. "There's absolutely nothing wrong with you. You have no physical illnesses, no broken bones, and I'm no dentist, but there's nothing wrong with your teeth either. This seems to be something magical. Rainbow Dash, however, is now a unicorn, and her horn and left hind leg are broken." "Oh, poor rainbow dash... Her poor leg and hor- wait... HORN?!?" Nurse Redheart had never heard fluttershy so, well, loud. She had heard about one time at the last Grand Galloping Gala, but if those reports were accurate, this was even louder. Now, she was just screaming, overwhelmed by the fact that rainbow dash was now a unicorn, and she herself was an earth pony. She wasn't bother much by the fact she was an earth pony, since she didn't really fly, but Rainbow... Flying was her life. And it was no wonder she was hurt, she lived in a cloud. "this" had no doubt happened overnight, which meant rainbow had undoubtedly fallen out of her  home, and for a unicorn to break their horn, well, that was the most painful thing they could ever experience, especially if they were performing magic when it happened. Fluttershy doubted that had happened, though. Rainbow had probably fallen out of her house while she was sleeping. Either way, she was extremely concerned for her best friend. Why am I screaming in the first place? Oh, that's right. Rainbow dash. I think I'l- "Fluttershy! stop screaming!" Geez, nurse, i was just about to! "I'm sorry Nurse Redheart. I'm just really stressed. And I fear for Rainbow's well-being. I don't normally get loud like this...I've only ever done it once or twice before... i trust you heard about what happened at the Gala?" I wonder how many ponies know about it? "Yes, Fluttershy, I have. A lot of ponies heard.  N-not just about that, i mean, but about that year's Gala. It was on the cover of a lot of tabloids." Huh... I kinda figured it would be... "well, I need to go talk o Twilight, then, don't I?" "Yes, you should. We will take very good care of Rainbow. You can trust us." "thank you, Nurse. I do trust you, very much." I mean, it's not like she hasn't been here for one reason or another at least 20 times before... silly Rainbow, always getting herself hurt. I need to go see Twilight, then. "Bye Nurse!" _______________________________ at the library Oh, finally! I'm here! "Twilight? You here? Oh there you a- aahh! What happened to you?" "Oh, this. Yeah. I was like this when i woke up. I've been looking through every book we have here, but i cant find anything like it. It cant be poison joke, because we haven't gone anywhere near it for over a month. i'm about ready to give up. I see the same thing has happened to you, as well. Maybe its a new disease that turns all ponies into earth ponies? I don't know." Oh, my... Twilight seems rather depressed... and do i see tears? "Hey, its okay, but no, it doesn't just turn ponies int o earth ponies... rainbow dash is a unicorn now. I came to you for help. We should go see how the others are doing, okay?" "yeah, i guess you're right, Fluttershy. Who should we see first?
