Chapter 8: A Birthday Wish

On her birthday Star made a wish on every star she brought in to the night sky. "I wish that Crafty feels the same way about me as I do him." Star wished.

That day was also Crafty's birthday and he wished on the stars possible. "I wish that Star feels the same way I do her and that we can be together." Crafty wished.

"How funny. It has been quite obvious to me." Luna laughed as she heard the wishes of the two friends. "I guess that it wasn't so obvious to them how the other feels." Luna added. Luna helped the friends by giving them the confidence to go tell the other how they feel.

"Hi Star. I-I-I have something to tell y-y-you." Crafty said when he saw his friend.

"Hi Crafty. M-m-me too." Star said.

"I l-l-love- I love y-y-y-you." Crafty said nervously. "I-I-I was your secret admirer." He said reveling his secret.

"I-I-I d-d-do too. Thank you for all the gifts Crafty." Star said.

"The things I wrote in the cards where true. Your eyes do shine like stars and they are beautiful. I do think of you every day I think of you when I'm awake and I dream about you all the time. And I do see you when I see the stars and the moon." Crafty said. Star nuzzled Crafty in reply.

"This is the best birthday ever." Star whispered nuzzling Crafty.

"It's your birthday?" Crafty asked confused. Star nodded a bit confused. "It's mine too. And it has been the best birthday ever." Crafty said.
