The Forbidden Relationship

Chapter 1

Chris was walking along the streets of Canterlot with his family, pulling all of their luggage in a cart. Trixie was walking by his side, Mixie resting on her back, with Featherblossom walking just a bit in front of them. Fireheart was flying above them a fair distance

away, making shapes with the clouds.

Chris looked up and yelled to the young stallion "Hey! Don't fly too far off now! We want to be at the castle by noon!"

Fire then yells back, "Yes dad I know!" Not paying attention to where he was going, Chris bumps into another pony in a rather fancy outfit.

"Ouch!" Chris grunts while stumbling back a bit "I'm sorry" He says.

The mare then scoffs and says, "Watch where you are going you brute!" She then puts her nose in the air and trots off.

"Gah! I hate this place so bucking much! Most of the ponies here are snobs..."

Trixie, overhearing him, says, "Well at least we're almost there... It was nice of Luna and Whooves to let us stay a week before the Grand Galloping Gala."

Chris sighs and says, "Yeah... I hope nothing dramatic happens while we are here like it almost always does... Remember last time?"

Trixie rolls her eyes and says, "Well you shouldn't have called Luna tubby then!"

Chris chuckles "It was worth it..." Trixie then slaps his muzzle gently and giggles.

As they approach the front gate of the castle, Fire lands next to them and walks to the gate with the others. The guards start opening the gate to let them in. Starlight is kicking a ball around in the courtyard and notices them. He smiles and runs up to Featherblossom and nuzzles her. "Hi Feather!" He says excitedly.

She giggles and nuzzles him back. "Hi Starlight!" Trixie smiles and continues to trot toward the castle, Chris and Fire quickly follow her, Feather and Starlight trot off to another part of the courtyard. Chris pulls the wagon to his, Trixie's and the kids room and starts unpacking everything. Prince Whooves walks by and notices him.

"Oh hey, you're here!" He smiles and trots into the room.

Chris looks over at him and smiles "Hey Whooves! How've you been?"

Doctor replies with  "Oh the usual... Watching over the kingdom and the kids is a nightmare..." He then chuckles softly.

Chris can't help it and chuckles as well.  "Sounds fun... Feather and Starlight are off doing Celestia knows what..." Whooves blushes a bit and says,

"I can think of a few things... Ever since me and Luna caught them going at it for the first time they have been getting better

at hiding..." He starts laughing.

Chris smirks and sets the last suitcase back in the wagon. "There... All done unpacking." Whooves trots up next to him,

"So how has Mixie been?"

Chris smiles, "She's been great! She's just like Feather though... She loves to climb things..."

Whooves tilts his head. "Oh?... So shes a mischievous little foal then?" Chris chuckles and nods. They both start walking toward the throne room, Where Luna and Trixie are talking.

As they get into ear shot they hear Luna saying,  "...I am just saying... Keep an eye on Fireheart... He has been looking at Starlight oddly..."

Trixie nods and looks over at the two stallions and smiles. "Hey Whooves!" she trots over to him and gives him a hug. "How have you been?"

Whooves hugs her back and says, "Oh the usual..." After a while of conversation it starts to turn on the verge of midnight. Luna spreads her wings and fly's off into the night sky, to oversee the dreams of other ponies.

Chris and Trixie walk to their room and open the door to see the kids already asleep, Feather and Starlight cuddled up to each other, smiling in their sleep. Fire snores softly and tosses and turns in his sleep. Chris walks over to his and Trixie's bed and gets under the covers, Trixie also gets under the covers next to him and cuddles up to him. Chris smiles and looks down at her and kisses her on the forehead "Good night honey..."

She smiles and says, "Good night dear..." She closes her eyes and dozes off. Chris quickly does the same and starts snoring softly, entering the land of his dreams quicker than he thought.
