When Celestia reveals to Luna her oppressive empire over Equestria the Lunar Princess breaks away from he sister to help the ponies of Equestria. But you can't have an Empire without loyalty. Similarly you can't wage war with no army.
When Luna refuses to become a part of Celestias tyrannical empire a war starts which threatens to destroy Equestria. Drawn into this conflict are Shockwave and his brother Biltzberg, who must now chose a side in the war and stand, for better or for worse, beside the many ponies of Equestria, charging on to the battlefield of ideals. Shall a new safe republic by created or will the solar tyranny dominate Equestia?
