//-------------------------------------------------------// Mischief -by Red Mare- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Season 1 Episode 1; Pilot //-------------------------------------------------------// Season 1 Episode 1; Pilot A Thousand Years Ago- In the Past When I was about ten years old and my brother, Tech was about seven years old, we always talked about our dream of being superheroes, fighting off villains and saving our hometown. We never knew our destinies would lead us to drift apart on different paths. But I had high hopes that one day we could be the superheroes that we always dreamed of being. But that would be a story for another time. Now six years have past, since those days. I'm now sixteen years old, and I stood in a classroom. I have been signed with a duty to guard a important pony, a mare named Zahra. As she was teaching three teen colts; one was my brother, Tech Wire, who was now thirteen years old, his best friend Gransion, his was thirteen years old, and the third colt was Blueblood his age was eighteen years old, and I could tell something was on his mind. Do you ever feel like the air around any room began choking you? Or has the air told you that evil was lurking in the room? That’s kind of the vibe I was getting from Blueblood. I personally wanted to talk and ask him what’s wrong. As I moved away from a window that I chosen as my post, and as I tried to talk to Blueblood, that's when everything had turned sour. A Pegasus and two unicorns barged in the classroom, wearing golden armor. I notice that the armor was part pf Celestia's royal guard. A question had come to my mind and I thought, What are Celestia's royal guard doing here? “Miss Zahra, you are hereby under arrest for poisoning countless guards and innocent people.” Said the pegasus, as he nodded to his comrades. “I see…Well I suppose I should give myself up.” Zahra said, as she walked slowly towards the two unicorns. “Wait, just a moment!” I said out loud, gaining the attention of all the ponies in the room. “What is it? Are you trying to interfere?” One of the unicorns asked, giving me a serious glare. “No, nothing like that at all. All I want to know is what proof do you have?” I said. “It’s classified to a pony like you.” The pegasus said, not giving me a slight chance to save Zahra. “Is it? I’ll have you know that I was chosen by Starswirl the Bearded himself to protect and guard Zahra.” I retorted. The three guards began looking at me with wide eyes, and huddled with each other. “Caizo, please let this go.” Zahra pleaded. She gave me a sad look, but also a reassured smile telling me that it will be okay. “I can’t. Starswirl told me to protect you, no matter what the cost.” I said to her, as I slowly began reaching for my sword. The three guards got out of their huddle, and the pegasus looked at me and said, “Listen kid, I don’t know who you are but if you want our proof I’ll share a brief of it with you.” That is when the room got cold, and I heard the most evilest laugh. I looked towards for the source, and I saw Blueblood laughing like a maniac. “Ha ha ha… Man you "royal guards" are quite the performers aren’t you? I can tell you guys don’t work for my aunts Celestia and Luna. So how about you quit playing around and show us what you really are.” Blueblood said, as he gave the three guards a death glare. The three guards said nothing, as they drew their weapons; the pegasus had two spears, one unicorn had a staff, and the other unicorn had a book with a weird symbol on it. “Ah, so you three are assassins. Interesting, now I can stop pretending and show you three what I’m capable of.” Blueblood said, as he got up from his desk and two knives slipped from his sleeves. The false guards or assassins as Blueblood had called them, started to attack the young prince. I was quick enough to get Zahra away from the danger. And what I saw will always shock me to my core. Blueblood had thrown his two knives at the unicorns, instantly killing them, and he managed to hold the pegasuses spears from landing a single thrust on his body. I looked at the young prince, and he had the most evilest grin I have ever saw in my life. “Wha..What are you?” The pegasus asked, getting scared. “What I am is none of your concern! But I’m going to give you a nice pun as you die slowly and painfully.” Blueblood said, as he broke the pegasuses spears. “W...What?” The pegasus said, shocked and he fell down on his rump and began to crawl away until he hit his back against the wall. “Now class is in session, my young pegasus. Now please be on your best behavior as I teach these young ponies how to kill a weakling with a pun at the end of each kill.” The prince said, as he slowly approached the assassin, and Blueblood snapped his neck. “Huh, now that’s what I call sleeping in class. Heh Heh Heh Heh Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!” He laughed evilly, as he glared in my direction. I could tell he was no ordinary unicorn to mess with, but yet I get the feeling there was something more about him that made me feel like we were going to fight each other for eternity. Later that day, my brother Tech Wire and his best friend Gransion had decided to go to their workshop to work on their upcoming project. Zahra went to her home, to call it a day. I mean the events that just transpired in the classroom has left all of us scarred for life. But my day wasn't over yet, not by a long shot. I sat in a cold room, and sitting across from me was the young prince, Blueblood. The prince had been shackled, a magic suppressing ring was placed on his horn, and his expression was that of confusion. “Do you know why you’re here?” I asked him, looking at him dead in the eyes. “No, not really. Did you find out something?” He said, innocently. Though I knew what he did, he decided to put up a mask to make him look innocent. “Yeah, those three ponies were hired to abduct Zahra to your home, where your family lives.” I said, very bluntly. “I see. I had no idea my parents were involved with those three ponies.” He said to me, now looking down at the floor. “I see. Do you remember what happened in the classroom today?” I asked, trying to break his little charade. “No. Everything just went black, and the next thing I notice was those three dead ponies on the ground in a line.” He said, not even looking up to me. “Hmmm did you know your parents were planning to kidnap Zahra?” I asked. “No not really. But ....” The prince started... “But?...” I asked, waiting for a response. “I knew they were acting suspiciously the last few days, and then they just left without saying good-bye.” He told me, tears now running down his face. “I see. Do you know where they went?” I asked. “No. They never told me anything. Please help me find them! I’m worried!” The prince said, now looking right at at me. The tears had made gray lines on his face. “Well, I have some news about your parents.” I said. “Did you find them?” Blueblood asked, now curious. “Yeah I found them alright. They’re dead.” I said. “W...What?” He asked, shocked. “They were killed years before the three assassins showed up here to kidnap Zahra.” I said. “Well, who could’ve killed them?” Blueblood asked, now even more curious. “You killed them, Blueblood.” I told him directly. “M...Me? That’s absurd, and very offensive.” He said. “It doesn’t matter anymore, there’s just a lot of proof that you had killed them.” I said. “I didn’t kill them!?” He shouted at me, enraged. “But you did, and no one knows why you did it. We think it was because you wanted all of the money they had.” I said. “No, I didn’t kill them! Someone made me kill them!” The young prince said, now growling at me. “Well, I need a alibi from you on where you were on the night your parents were killed.” I said. “They were not killed during the night, they were killed during the day.” He said, angrily. “How do you know that? I haven’t told anyone what time of the day.” I said, now I got the prince right where I wanted him. “The neighbors told me.” Blueblood said, slowly breaking down. “Which ones?” I asked, baiting him. “They never told me their names.” He said, defeated. “Well, that means you’re going to be executed for five murders. Unless you tell me what I need to know. Save yourself from death.” I said, getting up from my chair. As I rose from my seat, I saw Blueblood tremble and began to cry his eyes out. I was giving him a chance at redemption, but that slowly changed when Blueblood began smiling evilly, and giving me that death glare from earlier in the classroom. “My parents, were nothing more than greedy and power hungry nobles that never loved anyone but themselves. And they wouldn’t let me leave the house until I had become a fine noble.” Blueblood said, now confessing. “Why did you kill your parents, Blueblood?” I asked. “Oh you know how parents are. They just keep pushing. And I let my dad and mom get drunk with power, nobility, greed, and narcissism. So I kept letting them think they were in control, but they were never going to find out. Until later, when my father came home, boy was he stupidly happy that he neglected my mom and myself. So I killed my dad for being a uptight, power hungry, narcissist, noble, that wanted nothing more than to boast his huge ego. Then there’s my mom, boy was she just a treat. After I told her a lie that father went out and had an affair, she completely broke down. But then she became a nagging, greedy, and drunken whore. You know she told me to do a bunch of chores, and always blamed me for being born into this world. So don’t tell me to come clean the dishes, when you have been banging a few strange stallions in the next room! So in the end I killed her, and I scattered all of their body parts all around Equestria!” Blueblood said, as he laughed like a maniac. Later after interrogating, Blueblood was then taken to a dungeon room, smiling evilly and laughing. This dungeon was designed by Starswirl the Bearded. This dungeon is always in a secluded area in Equestria, that Princess Celestia and Princess Luna don't know about. This dungeon is meant to keep all the evils, major threats, and all other darknesses, in the world, and none of them could escape from it. All of those evils will be nick named, The Rabbit Hole. I began walking away from the cold room I was in, and I headed towards the greatest unicorn headquarters. I knocked on the door, waiting for someone to respond. “Come in.” Said a nice voice from the other side of the door. I slowly opened the door and saw the greatest unicorn of all time, Starswirl the Bearded. “Ah, Caizo how are you lad?” He said, as he began munching on a sandwich. “I’ve had better days. However, today just took a dark turn.” I responded, as I slowly rubbed my forehead. “So he showed his true colors then?” The unicorn asked, as he gazed at me. “Yes, he did. But why are you picking Blueblood, me, and whoever is the third one that made us into these Alicorn threats?!” I said, now boiling. “I picked the three of you because the others were a huge failure. The first one was a unicorn with gravity powers, and he just blew up.” The stallion said, calmly. “So I’m a puppet to you!” I said, getting to the point. “No, you are much more than some mere puppet. Let me show you just how much more you are important for Equestria.” Starswirl said, as he got up from his chair and walked towards a few blackboards. I followed right behind him, I wanted to know just how important I am. Then that’s when I saw the room that had changed my mind. I couldn’t believe how many blackboards were in here, there was just so many to count. That is when Starswirl told me this, “This is what I have been working on for the last few weeks. This is all of my predictions about the fourth generation fate of Equestria.” “The fate of Equestria?” I asked, confused. “To put it simply, I began researching, calculating, meditating, and gazing at the stars, about when and where all the evils we have captured, will strike Equestria.” The unicorn said. “So you’re saying that we are going to stop all the evils that are being kept in a secluded prison, from taking over or destroying the land.” I said. “Not we Cazio, it’s going to be you.” Starswirl said, pointing his hoof at me. “What? But I can’t do it all of this alone!” I said, now freaking out. “You know I won’t be here forever. And you are never alone.” He told me, as he patted me on the head. “But… how will I know tha--” I began to say but was interrupted. “In my opinion, you are ready for this task. But you’ll find out a way to do this. I know you can.” Starswirl said, giving me a warm smile. “I just . . . don’t know. There are probably others who are qualified for this task, like my brother.” I said, looking down at the ground. Starswirl let out a sigh and told me, “Your brother, Tech Wire, will battle his best friend Gransion, because Zahra is going to die…” “What?!...” I said, feeling heavy... “And your brother will die during this battle… The wise pony continued... “What?!...How?...” I stammered... “He hits Gransion with his magic overload and it kills him.” Starswirl finished. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Zahra was going to die, and my brother was going to die, by a magic overload during a fight with his best friend Gransion. “So you calculated all of this didn’t you!?” I asked, now glaring at the greatest unicorn. “Yes.” He said, bluntly. That’s when I pinned him against a wall, and angrily asked, “Then what if we can change some events so that doesn’t happen?! Why don---” “Because there would be no one else!” Starswirl yelled, surprising me. Both of us didn’t say word, making an awkward silence between us. “I’m sorry if I yelled at you Caizo.” Starswirl apologized. “It’s alright. I should apologize for getting angry.” I said back to him, and also dawning on the solution at hoof. “So if you decide to do this. You cannot back away or tell anyone what you are doing or up to. Is that clear?” The wise pony said, waiting for my response. “Yes it is…” I said already making up my mind on what I’m going to do next. “When do we begin?”
