The sky was dark as Charlie 3 was being evacuated from Reach. The 6 soldiers were all staring out the cockpit watching the covenant cruiser fall. Hooahs erupted from the soldiers within the pelican. Every man present breathed a sigh of relief.
"This is Pelican Alpha Two-Zero-Five requesting permission to land in bay five of the UNSC Pillar of Autumn, over." Said the female pilot.
"Permission granted... Hold on.... We are picking up signs of covenant slip space drives activating. Do not land, I repeat do not land." Said the voice over the comms.
The soldiers then turned their gaze out of the left side window to see 300 Heavy Covenant cruisers. "Oh my god." Said Charlie 3's leader. Soon the comms were flooded with commanders demanding evacuations of their men, requesting fighter support, or reporting casualties.
The cruisers mashed straight through the MAC guns orbiting the planet. 12 of the Covenant Cruisers went down to the atmosphere and began glassing the planets surface. The rest set up a blockade not allowing the escape of any UNSC vessels.
"The Pillar of Autumn is making a break for it. I will try to get us to one of the landing bays before it escapes!" Yelled the male pilot.
The pelican then rattled as a banshee shot at it. "Everyone into your seats I'm try and see if i can shake this bastard." Said the female pilot. All soldiers rushed to theirs seat clenching the bars that held them in place for dear life. Then a heavy plasma round hit the left engine of the pelican.
"Brace for impact were on a crash course with the Pillar of Autumn!!!." Yelled the pilot from over the speakers.

And then the heavy ship blasted a plasma round straight into the Soth Ship and... The book Rainbow Dash was reading was engulfed in a purple glow and yanked away. .
"Hey!? What was that for!?" Rainbow Dash demanded to know Why she was being interrupted during he reading time.
"I've been shouting for you for about 10 minutes." Said Twilight.
"Oh sorry, I was reading this book. Its about how this alien race was invaded by this other alien race because their god willed it. I was at the best part of it before you interrupted me." Rainbow Dash said folding her hooves to show how irritated she was.
"Rainbow I highly doubt aliens would be raging war with one another. If the are intelligent enough to take to the stars they probably abandoned war long ago. If anything there is a huge alien alliance not an alien war." Twilight explained.
"How do you know? Its not like you are some weird space traveler... Are you?" Asked Rainbow.
"No I'm not a space traveler. And, well look through out histo-" Her sentence was cut short by the sounds of explosions.
~~4 minutes earlier~~
"WHERE THE FUCK ARE WE!?" Shouted the male pilot. The pelican tried to reach Pillar of Autumn before it went into slip space drive. They got 'sucked' in with its space slip drive and now found themselves under attack by two Banshees and descending to a possibly hostile planet.
"Damn I can't shake off these banshees. We might be able to lose them in the atmosphere of the planet... The stats show that the left engine is operational. Lets see what these Covenant bitches are made of." The female pilot then turned off the engines causing the two banshees to speed ahead of the Pelican.
When pelicans are built for breaking atmospheres and fighting at the same time there is a distinct and unfair advantage for them against any other ship. "Target locked. Firing now." A massive wall of 40mm APHE rounds hit one of the Banshees causing its engine to catch fire as it spirals down to the surface of the planet.
"Where is the other? I can't see it and the sensor isn't picking up any movement." Said the male pilot.
"I'm not sure it might be above y-" Then the last Banshee went on a high-speed dive straight into the pelican.

"Sister! Sister! Come quick!" Luna called Celestia over to the balcony that over looks the valley bellow the mountain. There were what appeared to be three asteroids falling to Eqius.
"Luna is this your doing!?" Celestia asked.
"No sister." Luna said in a slightly angrier toned voice "They are some kind of metal asteroids . But I can't control them with my magic. I am as baffled by this as you are sis." Luna said in her defense.
"They seem to be cashing near the Ponyville lake." Stated Celestia.
'I can see whats happening too. You don't need to point out the obvious' Luna thought.
"Guard!" Celestia shouted.
"Yes your highness?" Asked the guard with a salute of his hoof.
"Send word to Captain Shinning Armor... And tell him to lead a squad of soldiers to investigate the objects that have crashed near the Ponyville Lake."
"Yes your Majesty." With that the guard excited the room.

Sergeant Major John Hammond was the first to wake. The bodies of his fireteam were either strapped in their seat on the floor of the Pelican dead. He then unhooked himself from the seat but as he did he heard a cough. John turned each way until he found Sergeant Kate Amsel lying on the ground coughing up blood.
"Kate!" He rushed to her side.
'Her rifle must have misfired and shot her in the chest. That high power rifle round easily would break straight through any A-11 power shield and chest plate.' John thought to himself.
"John? Is that you? Man you look like shit" Kate then slipped into unconsciousness
"
Hang in there Kate." He then grabbed a canister of bio foam and shoved the tube into her just plate to cover her bullet wound. "Kate hang in there you're gonna be fine... I-I promise..."
