//-------------------------------------------------------// Twilight's Walk Outside -by Dream Whisper- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// A beautiful day //-------------------------------------------------------// Author's Note BE WARNED! This was a writing challenge and I chose the emotion insane before being told it was a writing challenge. So, be warned of critical darkness and grimness, and try to keep a calm mind. Pick an emotion : insane (It’s my favorite one) Mmk, now a place : a green field Lastly: a character : Twilight “mothafucking” Sparkle Okay, that’s your writing prompt. GO! >:D [Note from the editor: “I wasn’t expecting him to come up with THIS. Why? Just… Why?”] A beautiful day Twilight “mothafucking” Sparkle had prepared her armies; she was ready to fight. Each one of her soldiers she had selected with utmost care. There would be no force able to withstand the onslaught of her thousand soldiers, each and everyone ready to bring death and destruction into this world. They all had seen the darkness glooming in her empty eyes and everyone was infected by her joy to a point where they couldn’t resist her anymore. Everyone would march upon the field of war, the field where soon corpses would start to pile up into an ocean of death and blood. The green field now, a red field so very soon. She would rip her enemies apart, bit by bit and drink their last droplets of blood before those could go to waste. Or she would let them live just long enough to have her fun with the elements of torture, her little toys which could drive everypony to insanity. It was nice to see her soldiers line up like this, it gave her the sense of security behind a wall of living death bringers. Soon, she would reign over the entire world, each and every pony would bow to her. Then Twilight slowly stood up, looking over the wonderful land of grass and happiness, only to dwell back into her dark thoughts. It was all lies, yes, they had lied to her. They had promised her power, but everything she got was a measly army of soldiers. They all had to burn. They all had to drown. Those liars who had defied her noble cause. She was the Princess of Equestria, the ruler over the entire known world, no one should have EVER defied her. Nothing should ever stand in her way and yet they had lied, and yet they had suffered so much for lying. She remembered her hoof, slowly marching forward, slowly carving out the beautiful eyeballs she was still wearing as a necklace today. Yes, her darlings were all with her, all by her side. Her friends would never leave her, they would always keep watching the world for her while she brought doom to those who defy her. It was a sunny day to be seen, a bit wet of course, but that didn’t really make it less enjoyable. Every flower seemed to bloom and Twilight would burn them for trying to grow without her approval. Yes, they would burn like the bodies below her cellar, the ponies still being tortured there. Maybe she would go back soon, and maybe not. It would be an interesting experiment to see how long ponies could survive in her cellar. How long they would stand not only physical torture, but also mental torment. Would they break, or would they simply die? Would they become her very soldiers, or would they become parts of her necklaces? Oh, she loved to think about the necklaces. Each and every one had hundreds of eyes on it. Each and every eye she had carved out herself, leaving empty holes staring into the distance. She simply couldn’t suppress the laughter when thinking about the struggle her subjects had had. They had really tried to get out of her cellar, tried to escape the inevitable. But it was just too much fun to simply let them out. A butterfly approached Twilight Sparkle and softly landed on her mane. The calming sunrays pierced through openings in the thick cloudy layer above her. It wasn’t a dark day, but the pegasi certainly had done a mediocre job today. The grass was tingling her hoof softly as she remembered that one certain pegasus in her cellar. Oh, she had loved to listen to those screams of pain and agony. It had kept her awake throughout the nights just listening to the distant sobbing of her friend. She had started to pick one feather out of the wings each and every morning and soon the bloody wounds covered the empty wings. And when the wings were empty, she had started with strains of hair. And when the hair was gone, she had started with bits and pieces of that delicious pegasus flesh. Firstly, the most delightful wings. A wonderful sensation of taste, melting away like a liquid in her mouth. Then the thick layers of the back, praised for their godly feeling upon touching the tongue. Oh, she had enjoyed every single part of her friends, every single bit of them. However, there were limits to her appetite, and what she couldn’t eat, she gave her little dragon. Yes, the little Spike. The river was softly flowing through the rocky riverbed, almost hidden by the high grass and the spare trees. Twilight decided to lay down below one of the trees, remembering the images of her little Spikey Wikey. The best assistant, especially when consuming living flesh. She had kept him hungry, feeding him bones in the darkness and sometimes forcing them down. At first he had resisted her calm and motherly attitude, but soon enough he gave in to it and started longing for flesh himself. Bones were nice and tasty, but flesh was just another thing. So she left him whatever she couldn’t eat anymore. When he grew bigger, she started allowing him to slowly rasp bits and pieces of flesh from their living bodies, making a beautiful melody of agony and screams. Twilight sighed at that thought. The green field lay calmly before her, not giving a sign for what was about to come. What Twilight would bring to this world. She had tasted the blood and flesh, she had tasted the wonderful flavor of her friends. And now, NOW was the time to taste the sweet savor of eternal darkness spreading over the land and bringing her each and every living thing to consume. With every meal she had absorbed their strength and now she was mightier than the two Goddesses. She had enjoyed dealing with her former teachers. The princess of the night was the more delicious one, but the princess of the light definitely was more of a meal. Spike had enjoyed taking her apart, bit by bit. She had tried to defend herself, but now her horn was Twilight’s crown. She had made the crown out of the horns of all former princesses. A beautiful thing, three colors and carved with the mastery of her magic. Twilight stood up again and started walking home, but not before spending some last thoughts on her brother and his wife. Oh, she hadn’t just killed them, that would have been too easy. No, she had separated them, telling them that their loved ones had died. Oh, what a jolly good old Hearts and Hooves day that had been. Even better had been the surprise for Heart’s Warming Eve: For her big brother, her best friend for all eternity, she had slowly but steadily tortured Cadence in front of his eyes. And his tears were her joy. He must have really enjoyed it himself, crying from all the joy and all the good times and all the happiness he must have felt. It wasn’t long until he had stopped moving, but he had not stopped feeling. His heart was broken and that is why she broke his body. Each and every bone. One after another. And still he didn’t die, no, she waited until she would give him his death. She waited calmly, days and weeks, hearing his slow sobbing in the darkest nights, enjoying the pain he felt. Oh. She loved to remember those times. At some point though, Spike had gotten to hungry. When she saw that he had eaten his brother without her approval, she knew that her small dragon had to die. Before he could even say a word, his body exploded, revealing the almost digested prince and captain of the Royal Guard. What a delightful experience it was, strolling over the green landscape that would soon turn into a land of corpses. Seeing the clouds that would soon rain blood instead of water. Looking one last time at everything that lived here, because very soon there would be no living thing left on this world of hers. Walking among the river that would soon turn red, would soon be delivering its cargo of thousands of dead ponies and animals and everything that had ever defied her. She wouldn’t just stop anywhere. Oh, this green field was the last field untouched by the darkness she had spread over the landscape. But soon, very soon. So soon… It would all be over.
