It wouldn't have happened if I didn't argue with Applebloom!” Few hours ago... “Oh hey, Applebloom!” Scootaloo waved at her friend who is passing by with Sweetie Belle. Both of them waved back at Scootaloo. “Are we doing any crusading today?” Scootaloo asked as she followed them. “Ah'm not so sure.” Applebloom replied. “We haven't really thought of anything yet.” “Yeah. I've been helping Applebloom so much with bucking apples, that I forgotten about the crusading stuff!” Sweetie Belle joined in the conversation. “You've been helping Applebloom with the farm?” Scootaloo asked, feeling a little sad from the answer Sweetie Belle had gave her. Sweetie Belle looked into Scootaloo's eyes, her eyes was filled with sadness. “Well... Ehm... How should i put this without making you sad...?” The three fillies stopped walking, standing in front of Scootaloo's house. Applebloom kept silence, but Scootaloo broke the silence instead. “Why didn't you guys tell me that you were going to buck apples in the farm? I could've helped!” “Well... I... Eh... But, Applebloom said... Oh, gosh. This is so hard!” Sweetie Belle's ears drooped down, and she lay on the ground, covering her ears. “Well, ah just think that ya might need a break. Ya know, from yesterday.” Applebloom said. Scootaloo looked at Applebloom angrily. “I don't need any break! You should have known me better by now!” she shouted. Applebloom looked at Scootaloo. Applebloom felt like screaming and shouting, but she know it would just make it worse, so she tried to sound as calm as possible. “Scootaloo, I was just trying to give ya a break. There is nothing wrong with a simple rest.” Scootaloo and Applebloom's argument went on and on, and Sweetie Belle already left without them knowing. Around Town Square, Applejack was selling some of her leftover ciders from the Apple Harvest, and one of the barrels rolled off, heading towards Scootaloo. “Well, maybe we shouldn't be friends!” Scootaloo screamed. “Fine by me! You're kicked from the club!” Applebloom said, putting a hoof out, so Scootaloo could return the cape. “You can't kick me! I quit!” Scootaloo tore her cape off and passed it to Applebloom. “You can have that back, I don't need it anyways!” Scootaloo then walked away, but doesn't know the barrel was going to hit her. Applebloom saw the barrel heading towards Scootaloo, and was going to push her to a cliff nearby. Applebloom quickly ran as close to Scootaloo. “Scootaloo! Watch out!” Scootaloo ignored whatever Applebloom was saying, and continued walking forward. Applebloom did not gave up, and instead of screaming for Scootaloo's name, she ran forwards Scootaloo and pushed her, taking her place as the barrel hit Applebloom directly on the body, pushing her off the cliff. Scootaloo stood up, and saw what Applebloom did, and what happened. “Applebloom! Don't!” Scootaloo cried. But it was too late, she was already falling off the cliff. Scootaloo quickly ran to the edge of the cliff and looked down. “Applebloom!!” Scootaloo shouted as her voice echoed. She found a stone stairs and quickly ran down the stairs and ran towards where Applebloom fell. She saw Applebloom laying on the ground, with blood splattered on certain places. Scootaloo's eyes was filling tears, she can't hold it in any longer. She bursted out crying everywhere. Once she's done crying, she got a hold of herself, she picked up Applebloom's body and put it on we back. “Y-you're going to be fine... You'll be okay... P-p-please... Don't go yet...” Scootaloo whispered to Applebloom, with tears in her eyes. She slowly walked up the stairs, because Applebloom was too heavy, and Applebloom will slip off Scootaloo's back if she run. Scootaloo was able to walk back to Ponyville in time. Her eyes was still filled with tears. “Somepony! Anypony! Please, help my friend!” Everypony looked at Scootaloo, and they went closer to Scootaloo. Twilight was the one who is the closest to her, so she helped her out. “What happened to Applebloom?” Twilight asked, looking at Applebloom's conditions. “I'll tell you all about it on the way. But please... Just help her.” Scootaloo sobbed. Twilight nodded and brought Applebloom to the hospital right in time. Scootaloo told everything to Twilight, and she understood everything. Present Time... Twilight putted her hoof on Scootaloo's shoulder. “It isn't your fault Scootaloo. It happens to all of us.” “It is my fault! Can't you see?!” Scootaloo pushed Twilight's hoof away, hey eyes filled with tears. “I am the one who caused all this! Because of me, all of this happened!” “Come on now, Scootaloo...” Twilight said. “If only there is a way for me to undo what I did...” Scootaloo said, rubbing the tears off her eyes. “What's done is done. There is nothing you can do to change the past.” Twilight looked down at Scootaloo. “I'm going to leave now. You'll be okay here? Maybe you can talk to Applebloom.” Twilight said with a smile, which is being forced. “Y-yeah... Sure...” Scootaloo replied as Twilight closed the door. Once Twilight left, Scootaloo went to sit beside Applebloom. She looked at Applebloom's pale skin, which looks paler than before. “I'm so sorry, Applebloom! I'm so sorry that all of this happened!” she cried and sobbed, she couldn't stop her tears from flowing, but she doesn't care. “I-if you can hear me now, I am very sorry about what happened. I shouldn't have overreacted. You're right, Applebloom, you're just giving me a day to rest, and it's no big deal!” Scootaloo said, still crying. “I shouldn't have made that simple thing into a big thing. It's... It's all my fault!” “First, everything is normal! Then, it turns into a disaster! And there is only a slight chance that you'll be alive!” Scootaloo cried. Scootaloo looked at Applebloom once more. “Y-you'll be okay... I promise. By the next day, you will feel like nothing ever happened!” Scootaloo said as the word ‘nothing ever happened’ repeated in her brain. Scootaloo went to the door, and opened it. “It'll be all okay...” she whispered and left. “It'll all be okay...” “You'll be fine...” “I promise...”

If Applebloom is alive, will she ever forgive me for what I did?” Scootaloo thought to herself as she walks around in circles in the Ponyville Park. “I doubt that she would ever forgive me.” Scootaloo stopped walking around in circles, and jumped out of the circled line she made in the dirt, and sighed sadly. “Hey, Sweetie Belle. Do ya think Applebloom would forgive me for what I have did to her?” “Maybe, or maybe not. But don't get your hopes down, if you're lucky, maybe she will.” Sweetie Belle said calmly. Scootaloo glared at Sweetie Belle, and Sweetie Belle immediately noticed Scootaloo's glare. Her eyes seem to be saying ‘Thank you so much, Sweetie Belle, like that helped.’ sarcastically, but Sweetie Belle can't really tell, because Scootaloo sometimes glare at her for no apparent reason at all. Scootaloo stopped glaring at Sweetie Belle, and remembered there is one book in Twilight's library about turning back the time, she had an idea! “Sweetie Belle, you learned levitating, am I right?” “Well, yeah... Why?” Sweetie Belle tilted her head in confusion. “Because I had a great idea!” Scootaloo said, pushing Sweetie Belle to the library. Scootaloo knocked on the door, “Hello, is anypony home?” Eventually, nopony replied, so Scootaloo opened the door and went inside with Sweetie Belle following her. Scootaloo quickly went to scramble around the books and hunt down the book of time which Twilight had mentioned a few weeks ago. “Where is it? Where is it? Oh, there it is!” Sweetie Belle walked to Scootaloo, taking the book from her. “The Book of Time? What's that for?” “Well, I kinda need you to do your magic thingy and send me back a few hours ago. Maybe around three in the afternoon.” Scootaloo replied. “Well, I understand if you don't want to help me, and that's alright.” Scootaloo gave out a smile, and begin to put back the book to where it was found. “Whoa, wait. Not so fast. You want me to send you back in time for what, exactly?” Sweetie Belle asked, wanting an answer, a good reason. Scootaloo sighed, “Well, I want to go back in time, and not argue with Applebloom, so none of this will ever happen!” Sweetie Belle went to see the book, she looked at the page where you can send ponies back in time. “This is kinda easy, I guess. But there is a side effect.” “What kind?” Scootaloo pushed Sweetie Belle aside and grabbed the book. “Whatever you did in the past, it will effect the future, and I mean future as in the time you're at now. Hmm... That's kinda weird to say for a book.” “Are you sure you want to do this?” Sweetie Belle asked as she looked at the book one more time. “Yes!” “Okay, then... I hope you know what you're doing...” Sweetie Belle looked at the book, and begin casting the spell. “Scootaloo, remember, don't mess too much around the past! And also you have thirty minutes!” These were Sweetie Belle's last words as Scootaloo was sent to the past. Scootaloo found herself in the exact spot where the accident happened. She saw Applebloom and Sweetie Belle walking by, and of course, this was the part where she waved to them and asked them if they are going crusading. “Good, the accident have not happened yet” Scootaloo thought to herself in relieve. “Hey, Scootaloo! Whatcha doing?” Sweetie Belle asked. “Oh, eh, nothing. Ya know, just chilling.” Scootaloo said, trying to sound as normal as she can, when she was panicking in the inside. “Hmm.... Are you hiding something?” Sweetie Belle begins to feel a little suspicious. Scootaloo forced a smile, “Nope! Nope! Nothing at all... Just me, and my normal house, and eh...” She looked around, finding another excuse. “And my scooter! Nothing out of the ordinary here!” Sweetie Belle stared into Scootaloo eyes for a few seconds, and believed her. “Oh, okay then! Bye!” She waved goodbye. Scootaloo waved back. And she found Applebloom heading towards the area where she was heading when Applebloom pushed her out of the way when the barrel was going to hit her. Scootaloo saw the barrel coming down the hill at a very fast speed, she quickly ran to Applebloom, and pushed her out of the way. “Oh great, now it's my turn?!” Scootaloo quickly thought to herself as the barrel pushed her down until she reaches the edge of the cliff and fell. Scootaloo flapped her wings as fast as she could trying to flutter down if she can. But she failed to, and she fell. Applebloom saw everything, and Sweetie Belle saw some of it. The last thing Scootaloo heard was “You're gone be alright...” The thirty minutes passed... She was back in her present time, and Sweetie Belle did not know she sent Scootaloo back in time. Applebloom felt sorry for Scootaloo about what had happened like when Scootaloo felt sorry for Applebloom. “Y-you're awake!” Applebloom said cheerfully. “We were so worried that you may be dead!” Twilight added in. “Ah nearly lost hope in ya.” Applejack said, putting her hat back on her head. “Wha-what happened?” Scootaloo said rubbing her head. “I can't feel my wings... Why can't I feel my wings?” Every pony went silenced. They seem to knew what had happened to her wings. Scootaloo want to know the answer, she want it now! “WHAT HAPPENED TO MY WINGS?!” she exclaimed. “Eh... You see, kiddo...” Rainbow Dash said, nervously. “The doctor said that your wings broke, and they can't fix it.” Scootaloo's eye widened. “MY WINGS ARE CUTTED OFF?!?” Scootaloo shouted in terror. “Oh, no, darling. They aren't cut off. Their just... In a bandage, behind your back.” Rarity said, pointing to Scootaloo's back. Scootaloo let out a sigh of relief. “But, I still can't fly though. Even though I can, I can't. Because my wings are broken.” Scootaloo begins to shed a tear. “Whoa, kid. Don't cry.” Rainbow Dash comforted Scootaloo. “Even though you can't fly, doesn't mean you can't be awesome.” Scootaloo wiped her tear, and looked up at Rainbow Dash and hugged her. Rainbow Dash was shocked, she looked at her friends, which all of them just look at them saying “D'awww....” Rainbow Dash didn't know what to do, so she just returned the hug. Applebloom sat in one corner, sulking in guilt. “Hey, Applebloom?” Scootaloo said in a weak voice. “Ya okay there?” “No... No... No! Of course Ah'm not okay! Ah mean! I nearly lost my best friend!” Applebloom cried. Scootaloo don't know what to say. “If only ah can safe yer wings...” Applebloom said in a slightly softer voice. Scootaloo got out of the bed, and walked to Applebloom, and hugged her. “I'm alive, and that is all that matters. Even though I don't have my wings, it doesn't mean we can't be friends.” Applebloom hugged her friend back, sobbing and crying literally everywhere. She look so depressed lately, and almost all of her smiles are being forced!” Applebloom exclaimed as she jumped up and down to grab the book. “She said she was fine.” Twilight levitated the book even higher than before. “If you go back in time, and prevent all this from happening, what's the use of her trying to save you? She sacrificed herself for you!” Applebloom went up the stairs and jumped to the book, grabbing it and pushing down to the ground by weight. “Well... Ah don't want her to be sad, she's mah friend. Ya sound like ya don't even care about her.” “I do care about Scootaloo. It's just that it isn't right to interfere with the past!” Twilight levitated the book, shaking Applebloom back and forth until she lets go. Applebloom fell onto the ground, smacking her face on the ground. “Urghhhhhhh!!!! Ya don't understand!” “I do understand. You want to make her happy, and instead of her sacrificing herself for you, you want to sacrifice yourself for her, just to make her happy.” Twilight said. “Well, yeah! Now, could ya give me the bo—” “The answer is still no.” Twilight said as she levitated the book into her saddlebag. “Even though you sacrifice yourself for Scootaloo, she'll be miserable too.” “How would ya know?” Applebloom asked, crossing her hooves. Twilight sighed. “Did you see how miserable you are when you found out Scootaloo's wings were broken?” Applebloom thought about how miserable she was when she found out Scootaloo's wings were broken. “Ah... Ah was absolutely miserable... Like now...” Applebloom looked down at the ground. Twilight smiled at Applebloom, "That is how Scootaloo will feel if you sacrifice yourself. Besides, she wouldn't even remember anything that happened now if you go back to the past. But let's not think about that." Applebloom looked up at Twilight. "Do ya think she'll be able to fly one day..?" Twilight was shocked that she nearly chocked. "Ehem... Maybe.. Just maybe. Now, you go run along and play with your friends now, i have a lot of things to do." Applebloom nodded and run out the library and saw Sweetie Belle sitting outside, waiting for her. "What took you so long?" Sweetie Belle asked, a little angry, yet still patient. "Well, ah have this plan which can make Scootaloo happy. Ya in?" Applebloom said, grinning. "I don't like that grin on your face..." Sweetie Belle backed out a few steps. Applebloom goes up the her and put her hoof around her neck, "Come on now, Sweetie Belle! To make Scootaloo happy?" "Urgh... Fine. Just for Scootaloo." Sweetie Belle replied, sighing. Applebloom bounced with joy and happiness. "We'll be coming back to the library a few minutes later. Twilight need to run some errands at the Everfree Forest with Zecora later. So, all we need to do is wait, or play!" Applebloom said happily as she dragged Sweetie Belle by her tail to the park. "WHY DOES EVERYPONY DRAG ME BY MY TAAAAIIILLLL??!!!!" she screamed as she try to stop the dragging by putting her hooves in the dirt, making hoof tracks all the way to the park. Few Minutes Passed... "Okay... Twilight is gone. Come on! Hurry up, slow poke!" Applebloom said as quietly as possible, and sneak into the library with Sweetie Belle on her tail. She found the book on the table and flip through the pages as Sweetie Belle looked around the library. "Aha! Here it is!" she said as she pointed to the spell. "Hope is not too hard fer ya." Sweetie Belle went to see the page Applebloom was pointing to. "Oh, no, no, no, no. This is too risky!" Sweetie Belle said, crossing her hooves and facing the other direction where Applebloom was facing. Applebloom walked to where Sweetie Belle was facing, and does the puppy-dog face, as Sweetie Belle slowly opened her eyes. "Aww, no! The puppy dog eyes won't work on me this time! Nuh-uh! No way!" Sweetie Belle shake her head. Applebloom's pupils got bigger and bigger each time Sweetie Belle denies, until she gave up. "Uh... Fine.." Applebloom gasped and bounced everywhere in the room. "How big can your pupils go anyways?" "Ah don't know!" Applebloom answered with a smile on her face. "Sometimes, i don't get you." Sweetie Belle said. "Ah don't get you either! Now, go ahead with the spell!" Sweetie Belle rolled her eyes, and reads the book and was about to do the spell until... SLAMM!!!! "My 'friends are going to do dumb stuff that they will regret later' sense are tingling..." Scootaloo said as she slams the door. "What the hay are you guys doing?!" Scootaloo ran to her two friends and saw the book. "The Book of Time... REALLY?! You're going to do the same thing i did last time?" Applebloom stood up straight, tilted her head, opened her mouth, and... "What do ya mean by 'same thing i did last time?'" Applebloom thought for a second, and now understood. Well, least of it. "Ya mean you done it last time? Why didn't ya tell us?!" Scootaloo stared at Applebloom for a few seconds, and facehoof herself. "Okay, okay. First of all, could at least one of you tell me what are you guys doing with this book?" Scootaloo showed the book to her friends, and Sweetie Belle just pointed her hoof at Applebloom, who is trying to sneak out. "Well, ah... Eh... How can i explain this? Well, ah kinda feel bad fer yer wings, that ah wanted to go back in time and save yer from that barrel." Applebloom said sadly. Scootaloo wasn't amused at all. Not at all. Nope. "That is why you're doing the same thing i have done to you?" Applebloom is still confused with the 'same thing' part. "What do yer mean?" "The truth is, i am the one who got hit by the barrel in the first place, and then you saved me. You fell off the cliff and you were bleeding a lot, that me and Twilight quickly brought you to the hospital. It seems that there is a slight chance you could be alive. I would say that you're chance of being alive is 10%." Scootaloo told her half of the story. "SO AH'M DEAD?! Wait... At least, not now." Applebloom said, being more confused each time. "So, i asked Sweetie Belle to send me back in time using this Book of Time," Scootaloo showed the book again, and putted it down on the table. "And that is why today, you saw me saving you, which was suppose to be you saving me." Applebloom tilted her head. "Ah still don't get it." Sweetie Belle waved her hoof in the air, "Ohh! Ohh! I know!" "What do you know...?" Scootaloo said in confusion. "First of all, you were the one who were suppose to get hit by the barrel, but then Applebloom saved you. You feel bad for Applebloom, so you went back in time, by my help of course. And this time, it isn't you being hit by the barrel, instead, it is Applebloom. So, you went ahead and quickly safe her from the barrel, and took her place." Sweetie Belle squeed as she finished her sentence very fast-paced. "I sometimes don't get you..." Scootaloo said. "Well, i sometimes don't get myself!" Sweetie Belle giggled to herself. "Pstt... Have she gone loco in the coco?" Scootaloo whispered to Applebloom. All Applebloom did was shrug. Suddenly, Scootaloo snapped out of the namby pamby saddy sadness thingy and just realized she wasn't able to fly for the whole rest of the year, NO! THE WHOLE REST OF HER LIFE!!! She quickly ran around the library screaming, panicking, running around, jumping, walking, and doing whatever ponies can do. "I AM NOT ABLE TO FLY OR FLITTER OR FLUTTER OR WHATEVER I DO WITH MY WINGS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" Applebloom and Sweetie Belle just sat in the library, staring at Scootaloo, screaming, running, jumping, walking, talking and doing whatever ponies can do. They looked at each other, then at the moving Scootaloo, and then each other. "Isn't libraries are suppose to be quiet?" Sweetie Belle asked. "Well, duh! Boorinngg!!!" Applebloom tried her best to imitate Pinkie Pie when she first met Twilight and made a party in the library. Sweetie Belle and Applebloom both laughed together and fell onto the floor. If you're wondering why the whole story was able to be finished in one day, it's because i was bored, and i played Minecraft enough today, i also got a lot of time on my hands. Also, silly ending. Just do it!” “Okay!” Sweetie Belle levitated the book on the table and sent Applebloom back in time. Applebloom found herself at the area where she was going to meet Scootaloo, she quickly ran towards her and stopped in front of her. “Scootaloo, don't to that area! That road is evil ah tell ya. Evil!” Scootaloo laughed at Applebloom, thinking it was a joke. “Ahahah! Nice one, Applebloom. Like that road is evil.” Scootaloo's said sarcastically, not believing a single word Applebloom said. “Trust me, ya don't wanna go there. A barrel is going to hit ya down that cliff!” Applebloom said. Scootaloo walked away, and looked back at Applebloom once she had reached the middle of road, and stopped. “See? Not evil. I wonder what kind of nonsense you're talking about.” Applebloom looked behind Scootaloo, the barrel, was of course, rolling down at a very fast speed. Applebloom quickly ran to Scootaloo and pushed her out of the road. Scootaloo stared in horror as she sees her friend falls off the cliff. “Applebloom! No!” She glared at the barrel, which is standing still beside her. “I thought that barrel... Wait...” Scootaloo thought to herself. “You evil barrel...” Scootaloo glared at the barrel and whacked the barrel down the cliff. Scootaloo quickly ran down the stairs along with help. Few minutes later, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle were in the library searching for a book while Twilight was at Zecora's area. “What are we even looking for?” Sweetie Belle asked Scootaloo as she levitated all the books that is being thrown by Scootaloo. “You'll see. Aha! Here it is!” Scootaloo said and showed the book to Sweetie Belle. “This is the book of time.” Yeah, after a few minutes of more talking and reading, and Sweetie Belle sending Scootaloo to the past, wait. I don't even know what am I talking about. Sweetie Belle sent Scootaloo back in the past, and saw Applebloom coming over, acting like nothing ever happened. Scootaloo decided to not talk to Applebloom, and see what will happen. She saw Applebloom heading towards the road where the barrel came from, and Scootaloo facehoof herself. “Why do I sense a tiny bit of dejavu here?” She ran towards the barrel, standing at the road, trying to protect Applebloom. “You're not taking me aliv— OPFFF!!!” The barrel smacked into Scootaloo's face, leaving her face flat. She fell onto the ground and fainted, and Applebloom saw what happened. “Somepony, please help! Scootaloo's face became a pancake!” Applebloom shouted, getting every pony's attention. Few minutes later, Scootaloo found herself in the hospital. She doesn't remember anything, she had amnesia. “Scootaloo, thank Celestia you're alive! I thought that barrel hit yer face so hard that ya died!” Scootaloo rubbed her head “Who's Scootaloo?” she asked. Applebloom's eyes widened, and she left the room a few minutes later after the conversation. She went to the library, with Sweetie Belle. “Why are we here?” Sweetie Belle asked. “To find a book of time, or whatever it is called.“ Applebloom replied. Sweetie Belle rolled her eyes, “For what, exactly?” “So yer can send me back in time, and ah could prevent any of this from happening! Yay me!” she took the book, holding it with her mouth and bounced down the chair. Once again, Applebloom got sent back to the past, and she did protect Scootaloo, but Applebloom is the one who ended up getting hurt. Applebloom had a horrible headache, and could not come out of the hospital for about ten months. Scootaloo quickly ran out with Sweetie Belle and they went to the library. “Do you feel like you done this before?” Sweetie Belle asked. “Nope!” Scootaloo replied. “Now get on with the spell!” “B-but... The side e—” “Anything you have to say, I don't wanna hear it.” Scootaloo said, cutting off Sweetie Belle's words. Sweetie Belle sighed and sent her back in time. “Yes!” Scootaloo said, but heard another voice nearby saying the same thing. It seem's to be Applebloom. Wat....” Applebloom stared at Scootaloo, “Okay, first of all, don't go there.” “You'll die, or get extremely hurt.” Scootaloo continued. “How did yer know that?” Applebloom asked. “But you were the one who got hurt!” “And you are the one who got hurt, and nearly die, because of that stupid barrel!” Scootaloo said. The both of them shrugged. “Oh well, at least now, we both know, and none of us will get hurt.” Applebloom said. Sweetie Belle was walking pass by and walked to the area where they once got hurt. “Wait.. Is she...?” Scootaloo said, as her voice faded. The both of them looked where Sweetie Belle was heading, and they both looked at each other and quickly rank towards Sweetie Belle. “Don't go there!” Applebloom said as she blocked Sweetie Belle's way. “What are you both doing?” Sweetie Belle asked, a little confused with what is happening. “Evil barrel!” Scootaloo answered. Sweetie Belle got annoyed, and levitated the two of them away. “I have no idea what is going on, but I need to go home early today.” Sweetie Belle said as she looked back and kept walking. Suddenly, she got hit by the barrel and fell off the cliff. (What are the odds?) Applebloom and Scootaloo looked at each other. “Is this suppose to happen?” Scootaloo asked. Applebloom shook her head, and the both of them quickly ran down the stairs to help Sweetie Belle out. Author's Note Here's a bonus! Yay!
