Celestia concentrated her sigh on the bearer, ready to answer each question they gave her as Luna sit near the window, looking trough it almost like she was waiting for something. "Princess, what is the Element of Hope?" asked Rarity, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. Celestia sighted, noticing how Luna will not help her this time. Her pink eyes concentrated in the blue ones of the fusionist unicorn. "The Element of Hope was created, many years ago, by us, Luna and me, helped by our mentor and our creations" the alicorn said, "It, unlike the rest of them, choose one of us to be its only bearer. It was me, since I was the one with more hope..." "But, after we defeated Discord, my sister began to lose the hope she once had; so when she was hopeless, the Element broke…" Luna continued, "Or so we trough. Each piece teleported to one place of Equestria, unknown to everypony, even to us" "So, when we find it, we fight Discord while Celestia activates it, right?" asked Rainbow Dash. "We wish it would be as easy as it looks..." said the alicorn of the night letting a single tear fall, "Since Celestia let every hope she had escape from her embrace, the Element choose another bearer from the time when it will be needed again..." "So we had to look, also, for its bearer, somepony with a very strong hope, stronger than the one I had..." the alicorn of day conclude, "Any other question?" "What are your creations, since you mentioned it?" asked Twilight Sparkle, really intrigued. "Thousands of years ago, before the defeat of Discord or his desire of chaos, we decided to create two things to help us to maintain the balance of the world. I created The Light, who helped me to control the sun and balance the day's heat, also my celestial object's warm light, to not burn the cops of the rest of the ponies..." Celestia said, little tears falling from her eyes remembering that pony of light, the one that resembled her guardian angel... "And I created The Darkness, who helped me to control the moon and balance the night, create its stars and constellations, to not descend the temperature enough to freeze to death the crops... And other things I am not proud of..." Luna said, also, shedding little tears remembering that pony of darkness, the one that resembled her very own shadow. "They where the sacrifice I had to do so many years ago to bring my sister back..." the bigger alicorn looked at the green eyes of the smaller one, "I am sorry Luna, but that was the only choice..." "Its no problem, sister..." Luna said, a smile appeared on her lips, "Just remember how the hope is the last thing lost..." a last tear fell from her eyes, "I learned it from my most faithful subject, you know who..." "Worry you not, my faithful subject" the princess said, her right hooves touching slowly her black and dark red mane, "Yet we all are in time of need, in a battle we cannot win..." "What are you saying, princess?" the unicorn said, her eyes now filled with anger, "There’s still hope we can win" "Those are lies, Novi Spei" Celestia replied, her eyes looking into the yellow ones, "Without the seventh Element and its bearer, we cannot defeat Discord..." "Or so you trough! Maybe there are other choices, like defeating him on a magical combat..." she said, stomping her hoof on the wood floor, "Even escaping from this nation to find the last Element!" "Even if we do it, what we will win? Some years of harmony until he comes back again?" asked the princess of the sun. "You don't know... Each event leads to infinite new possibilities" Novi Spei said, her voice was still calm, "Come on, you all have, deep inside you, a little hope to win this battle, and while it doesn't disappears, we can still win" Everypony listened to her words, noticing the hope they gave them, now decided to find the last Element and defeat him once and for all. The princesses’ trough about how much she resembled both fiscally as physically, their own creations, The Light and The Darkness. Luna looked into Celestia's eyes as a single and last tear fell, and using a telepathy spell, told her: "I think that we have our new Hope bearer" Celestia nodded as they looked at the unicorn, being she prepared to say one last thing: "And I assure you all, as my name is Novi Spei, that we will win this battle if we maintain our new hope" //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologe one: Eternal chaos. //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologe one: Eternal chaos. Prologe one: Eternal chaos. The bearers fell to the ground making a strong noise, their Elements not shining anymore. Discord laughed, hard and powerful, mocking the ponies before him, ready to launch a second attack. The first one to reaction, Twilight Sparkle, threw him a beam of energy, which the bringer of chaos could evade. "You fools! I already told you that nobody could stop me!" he said, laughing after that, "At least, not until the Hope is with you again!" "The Hope? What does that mean?" asked the bearer of the Magic, still not giving up the fight. "Oh, you didn't know?" Discord said, astonished he must admit, "You didn't know about the Element of Hope?" "Element of Hope?" asked Rainbow Dash, already flying over the floor, "Is there a seventh Element?" "Yes, your princesses didn't told you all about it?" Discord replied, creating a cloud of cotton candy above them, "The Element necessary to defeat chaos?" he laughed at their confused faces, "Oh well, I suppose your princesses forgot about it..." The bearers looked at each other eyes, a seventh Element? Why it wasn't mentioned in the Element's myth? They charged their Elements again, ignoring the words of the enemy. But, when they felt their Elements almost activating once again, they became dull and let their bearers fall. Discord laughed, he was invincible until they accepted the fact that the missed the last Element, the most powerful of all. Two beams of energy hit him, doing little scratches were they touched his body. The two princesses descended between the bearers and the powerful bringer of chaos, an enemy defeated so many years ago. "Oh, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, it's so good to see you again..." the draconequus said, mocking the duo of rulers, "Did you two brought the seventh Element?" "No, we can't" Luna replied, her horn shining again, "Since it isn't with us anymore..." her eyes became black, forcing every energy on her horn to launch a dark magic spell, "Yet we will defeat you!" The flamethrower of dark magic was easily deflected by a shield of chaotic magic created by Discord. He laughed, looking into everypony's eyes. "I must repeat, until you find the seventh Element I will not be stopped" he said, creating a sofa for him to rest, "So I will rest here until you find it AND its bearer" He keeps on laughing as the ponies walked away, leaded by the princesses, to Ponyville's library, the safest place for them to stay. Once they enter the big library and Twilight's home, every one sit on a blue pillow, admitting their defeat and how Discord shrouds the land in eternal chaos.
