If you had ever met a nicer pegasus colt, it would have to have been Misty Gust. His soul was as kind as the gentle summer breeze, bringing joy into the hearts of others and earned the respect of his elders. His cutie mark consisted of laughing faces, being that he was a good joker, and he had the distinct ability to make ponies smile, even in the dumpy town of Manehatten, during an era when the economy wasn't the best and the city suffered from it.
He had a younger brother, his name being Sunrise. Although he have not earned his cutie mark yet, Sunrise was exceptional at sports, his favourite being hoofball, quarterback being the position he excelled at. His lifetime goal was to enter the Equestria Hoofball League (or EHL for short), and earn the respect of other ponies, just like one of his all-time heroes, Powerhouse.
Because of the poor economic stance of Manehatten, it was difficult for their father to earn a good income to keep their small apartment. Seeing the oppportunities in Ponyville, the parents agreed that it would be a wise decision to move to the developed town. At first, Misty Gust didn't agree with the change of towns. Moving would mean that he would have to leave his friends in favour of new ones. Really, it was because he didn't want to leave a mare behind. She was a very nice girl, and Misty Gust really liked her. He wasn't really sure if it was love or not, but he would assume so anyhow. Even Sunrise rode into the agreement about losing his hoofball buddies. However, when Misty Gust realized that it would make his father happy, he decided to accept the changes and move forward. With that, the family packed their bags and took a train to Ponyville.
The house that they resided in was a fairly new house that was built just recently. Even though it was a recent build, it was still affordable and supplied all the things that was necessary to lead a healthy and regular lifestyle. There was even a nice schoolhouse that the two brothers could attend to, filled with other kids just like them that the two could make friends with. Their father was even hired for a job at a small business firm. During the start, things started to look up.
Misty Gust spent one particular afternoon hanging out with his new friends. The school day was over, and the group had a little time to themselves before they would have to rush back home. The group consisted of two unicorns, an earth pony, and even included a pegasus mare! Even though Misty Gust never mentioned it, he thought he hit the jackpot with his new friends, especially with the addition of a mare. The five sat below a big oak tree, which shielded the sun from the group's faces. They just sat simply talking to each other, much like any other group of friends would. Misty Gust passed around a couple jokes, which lead to some laughter. It was simply a perfect, relaxing day for the fillies of Ponyville. Fresh Mint, a light green unicorn, spoke up.
"You know, today was a real good day," he said. The earth pony Twig, his name signifying that his colour was the same as a tree branch, replied.
"Yeah, considering that Lightning Bolt threw a paper airplane at Mrs. Berry. Did you see the look on her face?" The group laughed, remembering the fusing red face of their disgruntled teacher. The group wasn't entirely sure what happened to Lightning Bolt after the "incident", but they were sure it wouldn't be good. Misty Gust in the midst of the laughter, glanced at the cream pink mare. She chuckled at the joke rather than laughed, and had a soft smile. Misty Gust didn't know it at the time, but he felt nice whenever he saw that smile. Her name was Heart Bloom. It was a nice name, and Misty Gust didn't catch himself slowly falling in love with her. Heart Bloom looked at Misty Gust as he stared. He quickly looked away and turned a little red, trying to mask the fact that he had been staring at her for a little bit. Egghead, the nickname of the crimson blue unicorn who wore round glasses, spoke up.
"Yep, only 47 and a half days until summer, and then we're free!" As Egghead smiled, he stared at something in the distance. At first, Misty Gust didn't pick it up at first. Egghead's smile turned into a frown quickly. Misty Gust turned his head around to look at what Egghead was staring at. In the distance, two strong looking earth colts trotted slowly to the group's tree. Their coat was similarly gray in colour, and they had leather sheaves wrapped around their bodies. They approached the five, bigger and visually stronger than the whole group combined. One of them looked down at Misty Gust, making the sun disappear from his eyes.
"Hello there. Who are you guys?" Misty Gust asked.
"You don't know us?" The first pony grunted, drawing a little closer to Misty Gust. Misty Gust took a few steps back, a little afraid of what they might be able to do to him.
"Um, no. That's kind of why I asked."
"Oh, we got a wisecrack, eh?" the second questioned, circling around Misty Gust. It didn't take long for Misty Gust to realize that the two were circling him almost ritual-like, giving him mean-looking glances. Misty Gust started to worry about his own safety, fear starting to build up inside him. A voice behind him spoke.
"Come on, guys. Just leave us alone today," Heart Bloom asked. Misty Gust looked at Heart Bloom, who stood up from her sitting position and eyed the two intruders. Misty Gust winced; he didn't want a mare defending him. One of the ponies chuckled almost menacingly and shuffled behind her.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Did you want us to leave? I don't think you noticed, but this tree is our tree, and if you don't back off, we might have to resort to deadly force," the pony said, gently brushing her light pink hair. Misty Gust's feelings towards these ponies were in the red, and he had enough of it. He took a couple steps forward.
"Hey, cut it out. She didn't do anything to you!" The pony stared at Misty Gust. He took a few steps and took out a small silver object. He flicked it, revealing a sharp knife. Misty Gust was immediately shot with fear inside. Sweat started to pour from his forehead and trailed down his face. The others were visibly worried. The pony with the knife smiled with delight, and started to chuckle.
"What is it, punk? Cat got your tongue? Take another step, this gal gets it. You understand?" Misty Gust took in those words like he took in pills when he was small. He didn't digest them. Inside, he felt a little spark. The longer the pony chuckled, the more the flame burned. The pony flipped the knife back into it's regular position and sheathed it back into his pocket.
"You couple of gay idiots. Gotta learn to walk before you run." Misty Gust's flame exploded inside. He took a running start and tackled the pony down to the ground. Heart Bloom gasped in surprise, and the others watched. Misty Gust rose up and started to ram his hoof to the grey pony's face. The pony attempted to block, but stood no match to the furious blue pegasus. Each punch was harder than the last, and cuts and bruises started to appear on the pony's face. The other pony nabbed Misty Gust from the other and pulled him back. Misty Gust fell on his back side, landing on his head hard. The pony took out his knife and rose it high. Misty Gust waited for the pain to sink, before a yell came in.
"Hey! What in the hell are you kids doing?!" The grey pony looked behind his shoulder. A gruff red looking police stallion trotted in the distance, carrying a baton. The two grey ponies glanced at each other and started to run away. They disappeared into the distance before the police stallion could get close. The police stallion stopped by the oat tree wheezing and catching in some breaths.
"Are you fillies okay?" Misty Gust stood up, wiping off some dirt off of his body. The five nodded in agreement. The police stallion pulled up his police cap to wipe some sweat coming from his brow.
"A good thing, too. Those two are pretty dangerous. They have been giving the town a lot of grief around here, especially around the schoolhouse."
"Aren't knives illegal around here? Shouldn't there be more laws regarding that fact?" Egghead spoke up. The police stallion just sighed and stroked his brown beard.
"Weapons in Ponyville are very hard to control, especially with punks like them. They usually get them from their parents, which they shouldn't even have at all. Concealed weapons are a danger, that is a fact. But it's been increasingly more difficult to control rather than more easy."
"Well, thanks for the help, anyways. Those bozo's could've killed our friend, Gust here!" Twig exclaimed. The police stallion looked down at the pegasus filly.
"You know, I saw you trying to protect your friends here. But you have to control your emotions before somepony gets hurt. By the looks of it, it almost seemed as if you wanted to murder that punk with just your hooves!" Misty Gust looked down at his hooves for a moment. Some blood dripped from it, falling to the dirt ground. He didn't think that he would actually be able to kill somepony with just his hooves. That was silly. Right?
"Anyways, if you need me again, just call us and we will take care of it." The police stallion said.
"Thank you for the help, again. We couldn't have done it without you," Heart Bloom said.
"Anytime," The police stallion replied. With that, he went off his way. Misty Gust looked up into the sky. The sun was just about to set in an orange fireball, illuminating the tree branches. Misty Gust glanced at Heart Bloom. One of the ray of lights appeared to dawn down on her, as if she was a godess of some kind. Misty Gust caught himself spreading a small smile and immediately stopped. Misty Gust got up into a standing position.
"Well, I think we should go home, guys," Misty Gust said. With that, the group said their goodbyes and headed home. Along the way home to his home, Misty Gust reflected on what the police stallion had said. Me? A murderer? How could that be? I couldn't hurt a fly! he thought. But the more time he reflected, the more the image of the bruised gray pony came clear. Could I actually murder somepony?
At the dinner table that night, the family talked about a various amount of topics that happened during their day. Their father spoke about how their business was being bought out, how their mother met her old friend at the market, and how Sunrise played a good game of hoofball. Misty Gust decided not to speak of the things that had happened during his day, considering that his mother always loved to worry about things that didn't matter to him. Their father cleared his throat and began to speak.
"By the way, kids, my boss is having a party to celebrate his kid's birthday in a couple of days. Perhaps you guys would be able to come and celebrate it with him. It would also look good for me as well. You don't have to dress in anything special, but you could just at least look nice and comb your hair. Especially you, Sunrise."
"I dunno, dad. I don't know this kid, and I'd rather just hang out with my friends," Misty Gust objected.
"It'll be a nice party. Besides, I believe your friends' will be attending as well," their mother spoke up. As soon as Misty Gust realized that it could have included Heart Bloom, he nodded his head in agreement for the party.
"I hope he's cool. Maybe he likes Powerhouse, too," Sunrise pointed out. Their father nodded in agreement. Misty Gust went back to eating his food. Maybe it won't be all that bad, he thought.
After the dinner, the family worked on the dishes. The parents announced it was time for bed, to the reply of groans. However, they both muttered to themselves in bed. Misty Gust slept in the same room as Sunrise in seperate beds. Even though Misty Gust wished he had his own room to himself, he was willing to put up with it. That night, around midnight, Misty Gust suddenly woke up all of a sudden. Misty Gust blinked his eyes for a little. He wasn't having any kind of dream, he just simply woke up. Realizing he was still tired, he decided a glass of water would probably get him to sleep.
He headed to the bathroom and turned on the sink. A stream of water fell into the cup of water that Misty Gust held below it. He turned off the sink and drank the cold water. As he did so, he had a strange feeling of tension. It wasn't any kind of feeling that he had before, and he didn't know what caused the feeling. He looked into the mirror that hanged overhead of the sink. The tub was behind him, the curtains masking the inside. He sighed. It's nothing. There is absolutely nothing wrong. In his reflection, in the corner of his eye, he witnessed the curtain move slightly.
He gasped and spun around, darting his eyes around looking for the source of the movement. He looked at the window. It was closed and sealed shut. He checked behind the curtain. There was nothing in the tub that could have moved. He sighed and looked back into the mirror. What he saw was not his reflection.
Instead, what he saw was a pale white pony with jet black hair. His eyelids was missing and a big, bloody smile grew across his face. Misty Gust looked at what he was seeing. Is that me?, he thought. Misty Gust moved his body around. The undead-looking pony followed his movements. Misty Gust touched his face, the pony doing the same as well. All the while, the pony smiled at Misty Gust. Just who exactly is this pony?
"You really wanted to give it to him, eh?" A scratchy voice coming out of the pony's mouth said. Misty Gust took a couple steps back, the pony instead keeping his position. Misty Gust's mouth gaped in awe of what just came through. Finally, Misty Gust had the courage to speak.
"W-w-who are you?" he asked.
"I'm your insanity. Your schizophrenia. Your craziness," the pony said. "In other words, I am you."
Misty Gust started to tremble at the sight of the ungodly sight that was staring at him through the mirror. Could this really be... me?
"I was the one who gave you strength back there, during that fight. I was the little spark that erupted inside of you. You remember that, don't you?" Misty Gust said nothing to the pony. The pony started to chuckle a little, which developed to laughing that only a madcolt could make. He finally calmed down and spoke again.
"You know, I could give you the power to be able to get to those guys. I can give you strength that you never had before. All you have to do is do one little thing for me." Misty Gust stumbled with his words for a moment before working up a reply.
"W-what is it?" he asked.
"All you have to do is give in to me." Misty Gust tried to compute that statement into his brain, but he had no idea in what the pony had in mind. So he asked the question.
"What do you mean?" The pale pony chuckled a little again.
"You just have to let me take over you. You have to do what I say, and you have nothing to do about it. Got it?" Misty Gust breathed in, and started a reply.
"Why would I want you taking over my body? You would be worse than those bullies at the tree!" The pony just kept on smiling. Misty Gust realized that he carved the red smile on to his face. That is sick, he thought.
"Trust me, I can give you everything! All the bullies won't try to get to you anymore, and your just throwing that opportunity away!" The pony growled. Misty Gust leaned into the mirror and pointed his hoof into the mirror.
"Listen, I don't need strength to get rid of bullies. And if you think for a second that I will give into you, you're wrong!" Misty Gust yelled. After he said that, he heard a bump coming from outside the bathroom. A soft and tired voice came from the other end of the door.
"Honey? Are you okay in there?" Misty Gust's mother said. Misty Gust winced. He looked back into the mirror. The pony stared back at him, chuckling at him.
"I'm fine. I'm just going back to bed," Misty Gust said. His mother grumbled something, probably saying it was okay, and slammed her door shut. The pony laughed hysterically and stared back at Misty Gust.
"Go back to sleep..." The light flickered off, then turned back on. The pony was now not there, but only Misty Gust's reflection. He stared at himself for the longest time, then headed back to bed. Considering that he didn't get any sleep at all, he thought about what that pony was. Was it true? Was that actually me? For the longest time, he seriously considered the things the pony said through the mirror.
Misty Gust and Sunrise got ready for the birthday party once the day came. Misty Gust wanted to impress Heart Bloom, which was why he took fifteen minutes to comb his hair, in anticipation of seeing the mare. He didn't want to make it too obvious that the dressing up was for her, so he decided to tone down on that fact and wear some casual clothes instead. Sunrise also wanted to see the kid, in hopes that they might have something in common between them. In the afternoon, they made haste to the house. As the family was greeted and herded into the house, Misty Gust couldn't help but feel that he was perhaps being watched. Misty Gust threw away that thought and decided to think about just the party.
The party was filled with adults, possibly Misty Gust's co-workers, and as promised his group of friends was there as well. Even though it was a casual party, Heart Bloom possibly didn't hear that detail as she attended the party, decked with beautiful clothing. The dress was stunningly bright, with pink and darker pink colours matching perfectly with her coat and flowing cream pink hair. At first, Misty Gust had nothing to say at first. He was busy thinking about the right word to describe her beauty. Heart Bloom chuckled when Misty Gust uttered the word 'stunning', as well as his other friends. Misty Gust tried to hide the fact that he was blushing, but his friends already knew what was going on anyways.
The party wasn't particularly that great. There was a nice, spacious backyard, but the very little colts and fillies played out there, and they expected others to join them. There wasn't really anything to eat at the buffet, even though there was a wide amount of choices that could have been selected. The adults talked amongst themselves, so the little ones couldn't possibly understand whatever it was that they were talking about. So the group just talked to each other, just like they usually do. Already, it seemed that there was no purpose of attending the party at all.
Suddenly, as the group was talking, another pegasus colt intruded the group. He had a dark green coat and combed black shiny hair, and he was just as formal as Heart Bloom was with a sharp black suit with even a tie. He had a very spiffy voice as he talked, as if he was a salescolt.
"Hello. I understand you guys are part of a little group, right?"
"Yeah. Who's asking?" Twig asked, not taking the likes of him already.
"Me. My name is Jet. You mind if I join in?"
"Yeah, sure. Guess it wouldn't hurt, right?" Misty Gust looked at the rest of the group. They stared at the new filly in the group, obviously not liking him instantly. Misty Gust didn't like him either. However he didn't want to seem immature to Heart Bloom. So he allowed the pegasus to sit in with the group. The group then had to sit through a completely boring subject on his wealth in Las Pegasus, that he was just here for a visit. Amongst the pegasi's mindless chatter, Misty Gust made glances at Heart Bloom the entire conversation. It appeared as if she was actually taking interest in what this pony was saying, which frustrated him a little. Suddenly, the feeling was back again, and it was starting to rise. Misty Gust took a couple of deep breaths and rose from the group.
"You know, I think I am just going to get a drink, if that's alright," he said formally. Jet waved his hoof.
"No need to mention it." Misty Gust didn't know what to think about that statement, but he coursed over to the punch bowl anyhow. As he poured some juice into his glass, he glanced over to the group. Jet was sitting next to Heart Bloom, even though he was sitting right next Misty Gust the entire time. Misty Gust spied on the two for a little bit before returning. Misty Gust started to take a sip, before he spat it back to the floor as he witnessed his hoof rubbing Heart Bloom's plot. The little flame started to grow, just like a bonfire would. Misty Gust quickly cleaned up the mess on the floor and returned back to the group with haste. He sat down and stared at Jet.
"So, um Jet, do you have somepony that you, um, really like in Los Pegasus?" Misty Gust asked. Jet chuckled a little in that annoying voice that Misty Gust hated.
"Oh, tons. I have to brush the mares away from me because I have stuff to do, but there are some that I would keep."
"Met anypony here that you would want to tag along with? You know, take along with you?"
"My, you ask very specific questions. I'm sorry, is this mare yours?" Misty Gust's mouth gaped open in surprise at the question, and immediately turned red. Heart Bloom also turned red, shielding her face to not reveal the fact that she was. The others 'oohed' in that obnoxious way every filly does at the school house. But this time it wasn't funny at all. It was embarrassing. Jet just smiled in that way where you have realized that you had assumed defeat. Misty Gust sat up and dragged him to the other room.
"What is wrong with you?! You can't just pull stuff like that!" Misty Gust yelled. Jet just chuckled, which annoyed Misty Gust.
"Come on, now. I seen you blush when you first laid eyes on her. I just want her for myself. I know it sounds greedy, but that's life." The fire inside of him started to burn again, and it was even bigger than it was before.
"That doesn't mean you get to rub her butt all over the place! Do you know how perverted that is?!"
"My father does this all the time. He takes advantage of mares like her all the time. Why should I be any different?"
"You make me so angry!" Misty Gust yelped out, knocking over a nearby vase in his anger. The vase fell on to the floor, breaking in to several pieces. He froze into place, seeing all the little pieces that scrambled on the floor. One big shard was big enough for Misty Gust to see himself in. Only it wasn't his reflection. It was the pale pony with the horrible smile spread across his face again. Jet chirped.
"Wow. Is this a random occurrence, or do you knock down priceless furniture all the time?" The words entered Misty Gust's mind and served as the fuel for his fire. He grinded his teeth and tensed his hoofs. He looked at the pony one last time before turning around. The pony nodded. Misty Gust nodded back. Only one thing was left in his mind; to kill.
Misty Gust's first move was tackling Jet to the wall and pinning him against it. Jet's wind was taken out the moment he was tackled to the wall. Misty Gust then punched hard in the stomach repeatedly, causing Jet to spew out blood. Misty Gust then flew him up to the sky then pulled down. Jet hit his head hard, causing a massive bump on his head. Misty Gust then turned Jet over and cracked his left forehoof. Jet squealed out in pain as the crack pierced through his body. Misty Gust took his wings and pulled as hard as he could to stretch them. Loud cracks followed by loud squeals filled the entire house. A couple of adults came in to see what was the matter. They immediately tried to pry Misty Gust from Jet. Misty Gust immediately broke free and continued to beat Jet to a pulp. He could hear his mother's shrill scream in the background, but he didn't care. This was the moment to kill.
Another adult came in and threw him off of Jet. Misty Gust ran away and travelled up the stairs and locked himself in the bathroom. Pounding hooves knocked on the door, but Misty Gust didn't open the door. Instead, he paced forward and back, the pony in the mirror staring at him with the wicked smile. Sweat poured down on Misty Gust's face as he paced, wondering what the consequence will be for the action. The pony in the mirror just chuckled.
"I'm proud of you. You really stuck it to him," the pony said. Misty Gust stopped pacing and faced the pony in the mirror.
"Listen here. My life stank the moment you came into my world. If you are me, I want you to get out!" The pony in the mirror just chuckled, much to Misty Gust's annoyance.
"Just like a memory, I never go away. You may think I'm gone, but I am always preserved inside of you. There is no removing me from yourself, no matter how hard you try."
"If I can't remove you, how did you get inside me anyway? There has to be a reason!" The pounding on the door grew louder and louder as Misty Gust yelled at the mirror. The door knob twisted and turned hopelessly. The pony in the mirror just laughed and laughed. Finally, the door gave way, revealing a mob of adults and confused little kids. Crying and angry voices echoed through Misty Gust's ears. His father pushed through the crowd and knelt down to Misty Gust's level with a confused look on his face and put his forehooves on to his shoulder.
"Gust, what happened? Why did you hurt that kid?" Misty Gust started to tear up a little. He honestly didn't have an answer. He couldn't tell his father that there was a pony in the mirror that told him to kill Jet, and there was no other answer that he could come up with. The laughter of the pony in the mirror, the crying of confused mares, and angry yells was too much. He pushed away from his father. In doing so, he tripped and bumped into a shelve. A canister fell on it's side, and it's lid popped open. The liquid spilled on to Misty Gust's face and instantly gave him a terrible burning sensation. He yelped out in horrible pain, blocking the liquid from his face, only for his legs to suffer the same fate as well. The pain burned through his skull, and he couldn't keep awake long enough. The only thing he could hear after that was the laughter of the pony in the mirror.
Pain was the only thing that Misty Gust could feel in the darkness. Sounds of squeaking wheels and beeping machines filled into his ears. He almost wanted to block them with something, but he knew that he couldn't. After a couple of moments, he started to come to, but he still couldn't see anything. He moved around his body, only to find that every movement he makes gives painful stabs into his body. Suddenly, voices filled the room that he was in. He couldn't make out the chatter, but one sounded very nervous. Maybe it's Mother?
Suddenly, what felt like a hoof touched his face. Or rather, it touched the thing that was blocking his face. He soon realized that he had bandages wrapped around his face. That stuff really did hurt... Soon, the bandages came off, and a ray of light intruded his eyes. He could make out a couple of figures with his blurred vision. He soon figured out it was his parents and his brother. They all stared at him, and Misty Gust wasn't sure why.
"Hey. What's going on?" he said.
"That stuff that fell on you burned your face pretty bad. It was corrosive, which means it burns through the skin and tissue. We had to treat for a couple of days while you were unconscious," the white colt said, with a stethoscope wrapped around his neck. Misty Gust looked back at his parents, who were still staring at him.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" he asked.
"Maybe you should take a look for yourself," His father said. He handed him a handheld mirror. Misty Gust looked at himself in awe. His face was pale white, and there was plenty of burn marks spread across his face. I look just like the pony in the mirror... Misty Gust suddenly smiled and started to chuckle to himself. He then erupted to a crazy laugh that only a crazypony would make. His father looked at him confusion, and so did his mother. Sunrise just stared at something that he just looked at for the very first time.
"Um, Misty Gust? Are you okay?" His mother asked.
"Okay? I'm perfect! I'm as happy as I can be!" Misty Gust replied happily, still laughing. His laughter increased his heart rate, and the machine beeped faster than it did before. The doctor took a mask and placed it on Misty Gust's muzzle, and his laughter started to slow to a halt until he was fast asleep.
The next day, Misty Gust was released from the hospital and returned back to his house. Jet turned out to be one of the sons of the father's boss, and the father was fired after the incident. After that, all Misty Gust was to do was to sit in bed and let the rest of his wounds heal. His group of friends started avoiding him, including Heart Bloom. Misty Gust was all alone, keeping to himself and his laughter.
One night, Misty Gust's mother woke up in the middle of the night. She heard what sounded like somepony crying in the distance. She got up and investigated. She looked into the two brothers' bedroom. Sunrise was fast asleep, snoring in his sleep. She looked at the other bed. Misty Gust was missing. She then heard a soft squeal of pain. She trotted down the hallway and looked at the door which lead to the bathroom. It was left slightly open, and the light inside was on. She pushed open the door and gasped at the horrifying sight.
Misty Gust was inside the bathroom, with a big carving knife in his hoof. Blood trickled from a hole which spread from each side of his mouth. His hair was gelled jet black. He looked at his mother, who was completely horrified at the sight.
"Gust, your mouth!" his mother yelled.
"I didn't want to stop smiling, so I carved a smile on my face so I'll smile forever. Don't you like it?" His mother just trembled in fear at the sight that her son had become. Finally, she worked up the courage to speak up.
"Yes, you look beautiful. I-i'l go get daddy, so he can see it too." She turned around and ran back to her bedroom. She shook the sleeping stallion to get up. "Honey, call the police. Gust is-" She stopped at the sound of the door creaking. She turned around to see Misty Gust standing in the doorway, knife in hoof.
"You lied, mom," He said before he jumped on her.
Sunrise woke up by a startling noise in the background. He rose up and checked his surroundings. After seeing nothing, he went back to sleep. For some odd reason, he couldn't help but feel like he was being watched by somepony. He opened his eyes to see the blood splattered all over Misty Gust. He jumped on to Sunrise. Sunrise thrashed and kick, but to no avail. Misty Gust blocked Sunrise's mouth with his hoof.
"Shhhhhh," he whispered. "Go to sleep."
