Our story starts with a murder. Murder hasn't happened in Equestria since Celestia ruled the land. Murder is an unforgivable crime. The pony that was murdered was Photo Finish. The prime suspect was a stallion named FireFly.
Now, FireFly had a special ancestor. The two share names. His grandfather stopped the Equestrian Revolution from killing off all the ponies. How, you ask? You will just have to find out.
Chapter 1: Framed
My name is FireFly. My life has been fucked up at times but its finally normal. I was put through what Celestia called the 'dream test'. I had to kill my friends. I kinda hate Celestia for putting through the test. I passed and the reward was immunity to cancer and all sicknesses.
I woke up to knocking on the door. I got up from my bed and answered the door. The ponies who were there were guards. They said "Your under arrest for the murder of Photo Finish."
"What? Why the hell would I do that?" I asked them. They gave me an angry look and said "Come quietly or else."
"Wait, my little sister is here. I need to get her." I told them. They said I had five minutes so I ran upstairs to get my sister. "Scootaloo, wake up. Something's going on. I need you to go AppleJack's house and tell her I need her to watch you. If she asks why tell her I'm in some troubling times." I woke her up.
"What's going on FireFly?" She asked me starting to worry. I brought her downstairs and she panicked. "What the heck is going on?!" She yelled at the guards. "Your brother is in some deep shit. Do you have somepony to watch her?" The guard told her then asked me the question. I replied with a simple yes. They took me to a detention center and tried to question me. They asked me questions like "Why did you do it?" I told them I didn't have anything to do with it but they didn't believe me.
Later that same day
I sat in the cell wondering what happened when a guard unlocked the cell and said I had a visitor. I walked to see the pony. It was a lawyer, and Twilight Sparkle. "Who's this?" I asked her.
"A lawyer. You want to stay in Equestria don't you?" She asked me.
"What do you mean?" I asked her starting to panic.
"The punishment for murder is banishment to the moon." She replied.
I started to panic. I couldn't be banished. I need to look after my little sister. She gave me a blank look and said she needed to leave. I locked eyes with the lawyer and she finally said "Murder is what your being accused for, huh?"
"Yeah. I didn't do it. I didn't even know about it until this morning." I said sadly. I started to wonder who framed me. All last night I was at home. We started talking about stuff that could get me out of this.
After a long conversation about evidence my older sister came to visit. "Hey baby brother."
"Graceful? Oh my god. I haven't seen you in forever. How's your son?" I asked her.
"He's fine. I can't believe someone framed you for murder. How's Scootaloo?" She asked.
"She good. Probably worried sick. Hell, she's probably thinking about what's going on." I said.
"Your thinking about our baby sister. She probably wondered off into lala land." She joked.
"I hoped you get proven innocent tommorow." She said to me starting to sound worried.
"Well, pray I get proven innocent or else I have to be sent to the moon." I complained.
She talked with me until visiting hours were over.
The next morning.
I was woken by guards they said my trial was today. I had to be there. I went to the courtroom and hoped I would be found not guilty. I saw my lawyer come in with a bag which I hoped was full of evidence that proved me innocent.
After a few minutes, Celestia came into the courtroom to be the judge. She started the trial asking if the prosecution and the defense were ready. The first few minutes of the trial were dull and uneventful until they brought out witnesses.
Later during the trial
Remind me to kill that lawyer. Twilight hired a five star lawyer who acts like a rookie. I started to realize if I couldn't stay in Equestria what would happen to Scootaloo.
"Excuse me, what will happen to my little sister? I'm her legal guardian. If I get banished what will happen to her?" I rose my voice to get attention.
"SHUT UP! Your not allowed to speak." The prosecution yelled at me.
"It's fine. He has the right to be worried about his sister. She will go to foster care or a pony who is fit to take care of her." Celestia told me.
Many minutes later
I'm dead. I can't win this. Goodbye Scootaloo.
"I find the defendant, FireFly, guilty." Celestia sadly stated.
They allowed me an hour to say goodbye and choose who would look after Scootaloo.
I took Scootaloo to our house an told her "Scoots I'm not gonna be back for a while. I was found guilty." I told her with tears running down my cheek. She started sobbing. "Why? Who framed you?" She asked me crying while speaking. I walked up to my room to look at my grandfather's assassin robes one last time. I looked at my dad's pocket watch and saw something in it. I opened it and found a paper. It said
"My son, though I am dead. I didn't get to tell you this. This old broken pocket watch never worked open the glass and you will find a gift. I love you. From Dad."
Scootaloo and I talked and spent our last moments together. I told her that someone has to take care of her so I asked who.
There was a long silence then was broken with her saying "Rainbow Dash." I took her Rainbow's place and I had to leave.
"I love you Scootaloo." I said my last words to her and we both cried. "I'll take care of her." Rainbow Dash told me. I went to the detention center and met Celestia who had the portal ready.
"What's the necklace?" Celestia asked me.
"A memory of my dad. He's dead." I said.
"Ok then you can keep it." Celestia told me as I went through the portal.
Chapter 2: The moon.
The portal closed behind me. I was alone. For a few minutes I sat and wondered what I would do. I pulled off the necklace from my neck and opened it. It didn't work. I thought to myself for a minute. I pulled off the glass paneling and a note lied there. The note said
"To my grandchild. I am FireFly, an assassin. I changed the outcome of the war by fighting on all sides. But though I am dead I had this amulet. It is a magical gem that lets me do unicorn magic that rivals that of Celestia's. Once you use this gem it is stuck there forever. My regards, FireFly."
I pulled the gem out of the necklace and it flew out of my hooves. It dropped on the ground and displayed a pony.
"FireFly, how much I have wanted to meet you." The pony said to me.
"Who are you?" I panicked as I asked the question.
"FireFly, that is my name. You should know, we share names after all." FireFly said to me.
"Why didn't this happen before? You coming out of the gem." I asked him.
"Because, you want to see the pony who framed you face justice. Two options: you may stay here and starve to death. Or you could follow in my hoof steps." He gave me two options.
"I choose the second." I stated.
"Good. Now take the gem and shove it in to your heart. Then think of going to your house." He told me.
I picked up the gem and looked at FireFly. He nodded yes. I jammed the gem into my chest. The pain was horrible. I screamed in pain and then I felt strength. "Good, you now have the skills and the strength of me. Now think 'teleport home'." He commanded me.
I thought about teleporting home and in a flash. I sat in amazement for a minute I was home. I looked at the robes and weapons that were once wielded by my ancestor. A sword, two concealed blades, a crossbow and a variety of throwing knives. I pulled the glass casing off the case that held FireFly's robes and weapons. I put them on and they were a perfect fit.
Chapter 3: Assassinations
1 month later
I have gotten no where. I haven't spoken to any of my friends. I haven't even seen Scootaloo.
I never took the robes or weapons off. The hood I wore hid my identity. I was banished. I shouldn't be in Equestria. I sat at the bar thinking. I saw a mare who looked like she was bleeding. I walked over to her and asked "What the hell happened?"
"I got jumped, assaulted, they stole my stuff. I can't even buy a drink." She looked at me. She was cut up. And had a bloody nose.
A group of stallions walked in and the mare panicked and hid under the table. "Are those the ponies who jumped you?" I asked her.
"Yeah." She was so scared she could barely speak.
I walked over to the stallions and said "Give the mare her stuff back."
They all looked at me and laughed. "It's already time to dress up for Nightmare Night. Why don't you make us give the stuff back."
The bartender looked at us and said "If this gonna get ugly, take it outside."
A hoof full of the ponies inside came outside with us. The four stallions said "One chance to back off and we will forget this happened."
I stood my ground and one of the stallions charged at me with an attempt to hit me. I avoided the punch. The other three looked at me. One charged at me with a knife. I use my concealed blade to parry. He charged at me again and disarmed him. He looked at me holding his knife. The other two charged at me both at once. I avoided the two. They all charged at me all four at once. I flew over their head and they ran into each other. I landed and asked "That all you got?" The leader of the bunch came up to me slowly. He threw multiple punches. I avoided the punches and nailed him in the head and chest. He fell to the ground in pain. "Time for everything to suck." I stated.
Two of the stallions charged at me once again. I avoided one and put the other pony in a lock on the ground. The other pony charged at me again throwing jabs and punches. I blocked and avoided his petty excuses of hits. I grabbed his fore leg and put it to ground. A crack of a bone went through my eardrums. I released his leg, he sat there in pain and tried to get away. The one pony who wasn't on the ground crying for their mommies threw a wine bottle at my head and charged at me. I grabbed the bottle and hit him in the head with it. Glass shattered on the ground. I walked to the 'leader' of their group and said "Why don't you apologize to the nice mare and give her stuff back." I stallion got up and returned the items to the mare. She tried to run up to me, but I left before she could.
The next morning
I woke up in the morning and I heard the door opening. "What did you want from here Scootaloo?" I heard a voice that I knew belonged to Rainbow Dash.
"I want to see FireFly. We had pictures I just wanted to grab one." Scootaloo answered. I thought about showing them I was here. Should I? I took off the robes and weapons and went downstairs. "Hi." I said startling both of them. Scootaloo stood there for a second not saying a word. A tear went down her cheek and she said "Is it really you?" I nodded my head yes. She walked up to me slowly. Rainbow Dash then said "How are you here?"
I thought for a second and Scootaloo asked "Does that mean I can come back here and you can..." I stopped and said "No, I'm sorry. I want to. But, the guards would wonder where you are they'll find me out. I can't put you in that danger." She started to cry and she hugged me.
"So you are supposed to be on the moon still." Rainbow asked me.
I shook my head yes. She looked at me with horror. She said to Scootaloo "Come on, Scootaloo. We need to get the guards." I walked up to Rainbow Dash and performed a memory swipe that would make forget she saw me here. I moved a picture and locked my bedroom door. I came to Scootaloo hugged her and performed the memory swipe on her. "I'm sorry." I said.
I turned myself invisible with a spell and the two snapped into reality. "I wanted to get this picture." She got the picture and the two left. I shed a tear. I felt so bad.
I put on the robes and the weapons. I thought to myself. "I could find criminal records and take down criminals." I thought of the idea and liked it.
That night
I teleported inside the police station and copied some criminal records. The guards didn't see me. The files I got were full of criminals that I didn't think we're safe enough to be outside the courtroom or a jail cell.
The next day
The first on the list was a molester. I hated ponies that did that. The address of the pony was on file. I teleported to the address the pony looked at me and panicked. I use a voice disguising spell and said "Do you know why I am here?"
She panicked and reached for a knife. She swung the blade at me but I knocked it out of her grasp and pinned her to the ground.
"Do you know why I am here?!" I asked the pony.
"No I don't know you!" She yelled.
"I am here because I kill criminals. You are a molester. They never caught you with hard evidence so I am going to finish the job." I said as I slit her throat. I left and left an 'anonymous' tip on a piece of paper at the police station. The note had the address on it.
By the next morning news spread about the molester being killed. Some ponies thought it was great that a criminal was taken out. Others thought it was murder. Personally I think the guards should of took her to prison.
3 weeks later
I crossed an X on a picture of a criminal that I just took out. I saw a letter on my desk. I opened the letter the sender wanted to be anonymous. The letter read.
"Dear 'Convict Killer'
I apologize for the shitty nickname I don't know who you are. I guess that's the point of the hood. Anyway I know of a criminal. He's been selling drugs to my teenager. Take him out please. I am willing to pay 50 bits if you kill him. He always is by an alley in Canterlot by streets Sun and Moon.
From, A pony."
I thought about it taking money to kill a criminal. I liked the idea. So I set off to find the drug dealer. I went to Canterlot and saw a wanted sign. I am a criminal for killing criminals. Oh god, the irony. I saw the alley way the pony was talking about. I went on to a rooftop and saw the dealer. He was selling somepony drugs. I use my wrist crossbow to fire a precise shot to his neck. The pony who was buying drugs ran off to get guards.
I liked this business what I do I am getting paid for.
The next morning
I was woken up by my ancestor FireFly. "What the hell is wrong with you?" He asked me.
"What do you mean?" I replied.
"Taking money for doing what we as our order does." He answered me.
"What's wrong with killing a pony who was a criminal. Then I got paid for something I would of done anyway." I said.
"I will let this slide. Just this once. Don't do it again. And why did you wipe Scootaloo's memory of seeing you?" He asked me a question I didn't want to answer.
"I was worried I would get found out." I answered.
"Listen time to get serious. The king of Germaney is coming and is planning to strike against Celestia during there meeting. The parade they are having to welcome him is the perfect time to strike and kill him." He plotted.
"How do you know this? And I kill criminals not royalty." I asked him.
The assassin changed into a different pony. "Because I know I go there every night. I heard his scheme to kill my sister." Princess Luna explained.
"Princess Luna, why didn't you turn me in? You know where I am." I asked her.
"Because I hate the punishment that my sister put on you. I hated being banished to the moon. I put the message from your ancestor in the gem. Please you have to kill the king of Germaney, he will kill my sister. Oh, I almost forgot I have a gift for you." She said to me.
A phoenix appeared in front of me. He looked at me and came to me. I asked Luna "What's his name?"
"Your grandfather named him Cordis. He will help you with the assassination. I will be with the king in the shelter he is riding in. Look for the moon symbol on the shelter." She said.
I looked at Cordis and realized he had a crossbow sort of thing on him. He could shoot arrows at targets. I looked and saw a safety feature that only I could use.
"I must leave. The parade will be tomorrow. Get some rest." Princess Luna said as she left.
Chapter 4: Down with the king
I went to Canterlot and the parade was just starting. I saw Luna's shelter and saw the king in the shelter. I looked at Cordis and said "Guards when I give the signal. Or if I'm in danger." I flipped the safety off on his weapon and he flew up in the air. I walked into the crowd. Ponies cleared a path at my sight. Two guards saw me and said "STOP HIM!" The two charged at me. I killed them both with my concealed blades. Two more guards took aim with offensive spells. Cordis took well aimed shots and killed them both.
The floats and shelter stopped looking at the dead guards. Some ponies ran, others stayed to watch. Several guards surrounded me in a circular formation. The king of Germaney came out of the shelter said "I heard about you, assassin. Your ancestor was an assassin wasn't he? Why do you want to kill me? Oh sorry, assassinate me?"
I stayed silent. I gave my special signal and arrows came down on all the guards that surrounded me. "KILL HIM!" The king yelled. Guards piled in left and right around me. I put on goggles and they all looked at me strangely. I threw down a gas that would blind whoever stood in it for a short time. I use a spell to draw my sword. I heard two ponies come at me from the right. I swung to my right and two ponies fell to ground. After this for a few minutes the gas cleared up. One guard was still alive.
He approached me slowly and drew his sword. He swung at me and I parried the hit. I disarmed him. I put my blade to his neck and slit it. The king began to have a worried look.
The king ran to the palace. I took to the sky in an effort to catch him. He went to the throne room. When he went to the throne room he drew his sword. I got inside the throne room and the king was holding Celestia hostage. I aimed my crossbow at him. I shot and he was hit in the eye. The king dropped dead. Celestia stood in shock. I use an invisibility spell and hid. Guards came in and saw the king. "The assassin killed him." Celestia said.
"What? The assassin?" A guard asked in shock.
"Take down the wanted posters. I want the assassin here so I can thank him." Celestia commanded.
Chapter 5: Doppelgänger
3 months later
It's summer. So many memories are being brought that pain me to think about. Like the time Scootaloo, Pinkie Pie and I pranked Rainbow Dash. I miss my friends and family.
Luna appeared in my room looking worried. "What's wrong princess?" I asked her.
"Berry Punch was killed by an assassin. This is the fifth murder." She said.
"WHAT? She's not criminal so it wasn't me. Who did it?" I asked.
Cordis flew and landed on my back. I held my fore leg up and he jumped on to it. "I take you two like each other." Luna commented.
"Yeah, he's my only friend now." I said.
"We'll anyway you need to kill the doppelgänger. If you don't they could ruin you. Celestia thought of you as a pony who stopped criminals. But now she thinks your just a killer. If they catch you they could publicly execute you." She explained.
"Does she know if I'm still on the moon or not?" I asked.
"No she doesn't. I am telling her your still there. I am a good lier thankfully." She answered.
"Does she still want to see me?" I asked.
"Yes she wants to meet you." She said
"Now I have a game plan." I stated.
Later that day
I went outside the throne room. Celestia was sitting there talking to somepony. Twilight Sparkle, she was talking to Twilight. I teleported inside and everypony but Celestia panicked. I use a voice disguising spell and said "I mean no harm. I heard you wanted to meet me princess Celestia."
"Yes. Everypony calm down. He won't hurt anypony." She stated.
Everypony in the room calmed down but were paying attention to me. "Princess Twilight Sparkle. It has been a long time." I said to Twilight.
"I don't know you." She replied.
"What did you need princess?" I asked Celestia.
"I want to thank you for saving me that one day." She thanked me.
I heard a guard sneak up behind me to attempt to take my hood off. I grabbed his hoof and pinned him to the ground. "Don't touch the hood." I commanded him.
He ran away from me and Celestia said to me "You said you wouldn't hurt anypony."
"And I am with the guard, pull off the hood." Twilight commanded me.
"I wear the hood to hide who I am. Touching my hood, is like somepony taking something valuable from you." I explained.
"Take the hood off." Twilight commanded me.
"GUARDS! SURROUND HIM!" A pony walked in and yelled.
"Shining Armor? What are you doing here?" Twilight walked up to the stallion.
Guards surrounded me from all corners. "You forget that he killed many innocent ponies." Shining Armor stated.
"I killed criminals. I get my suspensions that you killed the innocents." I told him.
"We'll take the hood off at the public execution." Shining Armor stated.
Chapter 6: Execution
I was pushed up to where they would hang me. I saw ponies that were my friends. Scootaloo, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy, and the rest of my friends were at the front row. Scootaloo had a saddle bag on filled with bulky items.
Cordis flew over head. "Time to die, assassin." Shining Armor told me.
"People of Equestria. Today we see the greatest convict killed. His true identity is..." Shining Armor yelled and he pulled off the hood.
Scootaloo and the rest of my friends and family were shocked.
"How did you get back here from the moon?" Celestia asked me.
"I got help from my ancestor. And Princess Luna I want thank you." I stated.
Celestia looked at Luna. Luna looked like she was pissed. "You know what? He deserves to live. GO TO HELL CELESTIA!" Luna screamed at her sister.
I looked at Scootaloo, she was crying. Probably about her brother about to be killed. She tried to run up to me. A guard pushed her to the ground. I teleported to the guard. "DON'T TOUCH HER YOU MISERABLE BITCH!" I yelled at the guard.
I choked him with the ropes that held my hooves together. Other guards came up to me and got me away from him. Rainbow Dash ran up to Scootaloo and helped her up. She then nodded at Scootloo. Scootaloo reached into her saddle bag and threw a knife to me. I cut the ropes off and took the knife to kill the guards. Shining Armor ran off. Then a figure was on a rooftop. Guards tried to take me down but, Luna stopped them.
She dropped my weapons on the ground and said "Your going to need these."
I put on the weapons and some of the guards stood away from me. Ponies cleared a path so I could run. Celestia walked up to me and said "I knew you weren't the killer. Go kill the real one." She said.
I ran up to the doppelgänger and he ran toward me.
Chapter 7: Assassin VS Assassin
The stallion ran toward me and teleported to me. He drew a sword and swung at me. I blocked the hit with my sword and swung at him. He blocked the swing. He was good with a sword.
After minutes of pointless sword fighting, he ran off onto a rooftop. I teleported to the rooftop and chased him. He turned around and headed toward the crowd. I jumped down and he had his sword on my side. He thrusted the blade into my side. Then teleported to the other side of the crowd. I pulled the sword out of my side and started a healing spell. I used another spell to pull his hood down.
A mare looked at me. It wasn't Shining Armor it was somepony else. "Sunset Shimmer? What are you doing here?" Twilight asked.
"Shut the fuck up Twilight. I have business with this assassin." She yelled at Twilight.
"Why did you kill those ponies?" I asked her.
"Because I wanted to get to Celestia. Then an assassin comes up and starts killing criminals. So I jumped on that chance to get to all of you." She explained.
"What did I do to you." I asked her.
"You killed my sister. She was framed for something she didn't do and you killed her for it." She said.
"Killing random ponies though? That's overreacting." I said.
"Really? Your no hero or a good pony either. I bet if I asked who thinks you are a hero to them. No pony would say yes. Who does think this assassin is a hero?" She yelled to the crowd.
A few seconds of silence passed and then, Scootaloo stepped in front of me and said "I think he's a hero. I think what he did was right." Rainbow Dash then walked beside Scootaloo and said "Me too." Then Applejack, then Fluttershy, then random ponies.
I realized the healing spell was completed but I acted like I was still hurt. I thought to myself "I don't think these ponies should be standing up for me. I should be standing up for them."
"Fine, you want to die for him? You want to dress up like him and say 'I'm the real assassin'? He wears that hood because he is a coward." She lied to the crowd.
"No. I wear this hood because it symbolizes our order. We take down criminals. And stop the evil who defy us." I stated.
She teleported in front of me and said "Yeah sure. I'm sure you would die for these ponies."
"Yes." I said and stabbed her in the neck. She fell to the ground and looked at me with horror. "We protect our kind. Our 'types' of assassins are completely different. You see me as a hired gun. Somepony who takes money to kill anypony. What I really do is kill those who need to be killed." I said. She lied there dead. Her eyes were open still though. I shut her eyes and stood up and saw several guards. Celestia walked up to me being silent. "You still have to be banished for the murder." Celestia stated.
Luna came up to her sister and said "I wanted to say what I said to you for so long. Yet you still want to banish him. He can stay in Equestria."
"Who murdered that pony? He has to face punishment." Celestia told her sister.
"I did." A pony came to Celestia and admitted.
"What about the guards?" Celestia pointed out.
"I told him to kill them. So send me to the moon. You already did it once." Luna said.
"Fine. No one to the moon." Celestia stated.
Chapter 8: The End
1 week later
I woke up to Cordis being loud. He looked sick but then I remembered he does this every few years. Being a phoenix he burned up and turned into ashes then arose from the ashes.
I walked downstairs and made some coffee. The mail arrived so I went outside to get it. Scootaloo came downstairs and looked exhausted. "Why are you so tired?" I asked her.
"I couldn't sleep last night because of your bird being so loud." She said.
"Cordis does this every once and a while. He's a phoenix, remember?" I explained.
"Can I just go back to bed for a few more hours?" She asked sounding more tired every word she said.
I laughed and said "I'll get you some ear plugs." Scootaloo crawled back upstairs to take a nap. I had some time alone. I took Cordis outside for some fresh air. I sat there for a half hour and got a visitor.
"Hey Rainbow Dash. What's going on?" I asked the cyan pony.
"Nothing just came to chat. I also realized I still had this." She answered as she pulled out a picture of Scootaloo and I. "Oh thanks. I didn't realize you still had it." I said.
"She couldn't sleep for days. She loved you to death. I couldn't get her to stop feeling sad for a while." Rainbow said.
"She looks to you as a sister you know. She likes you. I do too. Anypony who can comfort Scootaloo like that, is a great friend to me. I would die for my friends and family." I said.
"Well, I'm glad we're friends. Where is Scootaloo?" She asked me.
"Hold on I'll see if she's up." I said and went upstairs to get Scootaloo. I got her up and told her we have company.
"Why do I have be up? I'm tired." She wined.
"Glad to see you too." Rainbow joked.
"Oh hey Rainbow Dash. Sorry, my brother's bird kept me up. How did you sleep last night FireFly?" Se said.
"There's a spell for everything." I answered and laughed.
I then saw Pinkie Pie running up to us. She said quickly "Hey Rainbow Dash! I was looking for you earlier. Anyway I have invitations to a nice club that my friend owns and she said my friends could come and join us. It's like a family friendly night club. You wanna come?"
"Sure Pinkie Pie I'll go where is it?" Rainbow Dash answered.
"It's in Canterlot. That's where my friend lives. FireFly, Scootaloo want to come?" She asked us.
"Sure what about you Scoots?" I asked Scootaloo.
"Yeah I wanna go." Scootaloo answered still sounding tired.
We then heard a loud squawk. Cordis then fell to the ground and burst into flames. Scootaloo screamed with horror at the sight of him catching on fire. I laughed and said "Cordis, come on you just liking scaring ponies don't you?"
Cordis then flew out of the ashes and landed by Scootaloo. She was still startled at the fact my phoenix just burst into flames.
Everypony but Scootaloo laughed. We all sat and talked about the 'night club' that Pinkie's friend owned. She told us that the place had all sorts of stuff. The stuff it had was pretty neat. It left us excited to go.
Later that night
"Scootaloo come on! The train leaves in ten minutes." I yelled.
"Can we fly to train station?" She asked.
I was shocked. Scootaloo must have gotten better at flying.
"Sure. Can you handle flying yet?" I asked.
She gave me a glare. "Yes. I'm getting better you know." She said.
We flew to the train station, and I was amazed. Scootaloo made through the entire flight. She wasn't ever really good with flying.
When we arrived at Canterlot, Pinkie Pie was extremely excited to show us this place. When we got there it looked like a normal, shitty bar from the outside. But when we got inside, we were all amazed.
"Holy crap!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed with excitement.
"Crap, is an understatement. How the heck did your friend afford this?" I asked Pinkie.
The place was filled with lit up decorations. Expensive lights and sorts of stuff. Every centimeter of the club was lit up and colorful.
"She has a good line of work." Pinkie commented. "What does she do? She doesn't kill ponies does she?" I asked.
"No, she's a -" Pinkie began to speak but Twilight covered her mouth.
"Not everypony needs to know what she does." Twilight said to Pinkie Pie.
Rainbow Dash held back laughter. Applejack looked embarrassed. And Fluttershy looked confused.
I looked at Scootaloo, who was still amazed by the place. Thank god Scootaloo didn't know what Pinkie Pie was talking about.
"Pinkie! Thanks for coming. Come on, I have a table for you ponies." A formal dressed pony came up to us and said.
Many ponies were at the club. Some were even phillies and foals. Scootaloo then whispered "Oh, come on."
"What's wrong Scoots?" I asked her.
"Diamond Tiara. She's over there." She said pointing toward a filly.
"Is that the one that keeps bullying you?" I asked her.
"Yes." She replied with an angry tone.
Pinkies friend then came back with a wine bottle, water and other beverages. Rainbow, Pinkie, and I all poured wine into our glasses. While the rest of our friends drank water or sodas.
"Well if isn't the blank flank, Scootaloop." A voice came from behind. Scootaloo then seemed embarrassed. The filly's father then came toward us.
"Is this your friend Diamond Tiara?" The stallion asked his daughter.
"Yes, daddy." Diamond Tiara replied.
"Hello my name is Filthy Rich. Are you her father?" The stallion asked me.
"No. Names FireFly. I'm her brother. And... can I have a second in private please?" I asked the stallion.
"Oh, um. Of course." Filthy Rich replied. We both walked off away from the group and I said "Control your fucking daughter."
"Excuse me?" Filthy replied.
"Scootaloo came home in tears one day from school. Your daughter bullies my sister. Their not friends." I told him sounding more pissed off every word I spoke.
"She's not the nicest pony in the world but, I didn't know about this. I'll talk to her later." He replied.
"If I get one more goddamn complaint about your daughter, I will go to the school. Got it?" I told him.
We both turned back to the table and saw the two phillies starting to shove each other. I ran to Scootaloo and stopped them from hurting each other.
"She tried to hurt me daddy. She started this whole thing." Diamond Tiara lied.
"I need to control my daughter? Keep your own sister in check before you excuse somepony else." Filthy Rich scolded.
"Get the fuck away from us. Stay away from us." I tried not to shout.
"She started this. You should tell the school." Diamond Tiara lied hoping her dad was to dumb to realize it. It worked though.
"I will." Filthy stated.
I started to walk toward Filthy but Rainbow and Applejack held me back.
"You believe every word from her don't you?" I asked Filthy.
"Fuck you." He yelled at me.
"You wanna take this outside, you little bitch?" I asked him.
"You couldn't win." Diamond Tiara commented.
"Diamond Tiara go back to the table." He told his daughter. Tiara then went back to her mother.
"You want to go the hospital?" He asked me as he pulled out a knife.
"That a threat? YOU WANNA TAKE THIS OUTSIDE?!" I yelled.
He then came to me and gave me a small cut. He laughed and said "All bark no bite."
"THAT'S IT! I'M GONNA KILL HIM!" I yelled and started to try and charge but, Fluttershy and Twilight came held me back.
"Fuck off." He said.
Filthy then went back to his table to his daughter.
"Dumbass." I commented. I felt the cut and blood was on my hoof.
"Let's try to enjoy tonight and deal with this tomorrow." Twilight recommended.
"Your right. Sorry about that Scootaloo." I said.
"It's fine. I wish you would of kicked his ass." Scootaloo said.
"Don't say stuff like that." I scolded her. Throughout the night. There were performances and Pinkie Pie did a comedy act. Which no one couldn't laugh at.
After a long night we decided to head home.
On the train
Everypony went to a silent car to take a short nap. I wanted to talk to Rainbow. "Hey Rainbow you up?" I asked.
"Yeah, what's up?" She whispered.
"I want to talk to you." I answered.
"What about?" She asked me.
We left the silent car and resumed our conversation. "Why did Scootaloo have a knife at the execution?" I asked.
"What are you talking about?" She played dumb.
"Why did Scootaloo have the knife? Don't play dumb. I'm kinda glad she did." I asked Rainbow.
"She got suspensions that you were the assassin because of your eye color in a picture. I told her it wasn't, but she said 'what if is him?' She made a plan you help you if was you." She answered.
"I did a memory swipe on you two that day you took that picture. You said you needed to get guards. I'm so sorry. Please don't tell Scootaloo." I admitted.
"I needed to get guards that day because I knew of a criminal. I wouldn't ever turn you in like that." She said.
"Yeah, and I should of known that." I said starting to feel sorry.
We spent the rest of the train ride talking to each other. When we arrived at Ponyville, we were falsely excused of 'having a moment'
"I didn't know you two were datin'." Applejack commented.
"We're not!" Rainbow yelled.
"Oh admit it Rainbow Dash, you like FireFly." Twilight teased. Rainbow Dash started to look embarrassed.
"It's not what what it looks like we were just talking." I said.
"And making out?" Scootaloo teased us.
"I know your crush. I'm the one you don't mess with." I told Scootaloo.
"Come on, admit it! You two have a thing for each other!" Pinkie said. Rainbow Dash starting looking more embarrassed.
I laughed and said "Oh Rainbow, they forget I can do magic that rivals Celestia's. Like, oh, mind reading spells." Rainbow Dash and I laughed at the joke.
"Oh yeah." Rainbow laughed with an evil smirk on her face.
"Still wanna accuse us?" I asked.
"Nope." Fluttershy laughed.
"Gotten over Flash Century yet, Twilight?" I teased Twilight.
"I don't have a crush on him." She said.
The next morning. I was awoken by knocking on the door. I went downstairs and opened the door. Celestia and Luna stood at my doorstep staying silent until Celestia said "We need ponies like you to help us."
"What do you mean?" I asked her.
"I need somepony who can do what our military and guards can't do." Luna answered.
"Cut the shit! What do you mean?" I exclaimed.
"Assassins." Celestia finally spilled the beans.
"What? You mean you want to hire me to kill somepony?" I asked.
"Yes. There's ponies out there who can't live. We need them dead. But, we can't kill them and the military would point to us." Luna explained.
I thought about it for a second and finally said "Who?"
