I hated lightning; it always made the creatures go mental. My sister was running in front of me, my brother to my left and his girlfriend behind us. “COME ON ELLIE! WE CAN’T STOP HERE!” my brother shouted to her, “Bro we got some more in front” shouted my sister from ahead, “Right everyone, check ammo and weapons” this was followed by many clicks of ammo and ammo belts being checked. “Umm....Tom, I’m out of ammo, you got any to spare?” asked Ellie. “What wep you need it for?” he asked her, “my SMG, but only if you c“she was cut off as I chucked two clips at her “Oh....thanks Cam, but don’t you need them” I looked away and pulled out the revolver I had “Nope” My brother had become our un-official leader and my sister our scout, I had become the “engineer” of sorts, why, because I was thinking all the time. “Cam, you can’t be serious” my brother still saw me as a thirteen year old, it annoyed me, “Yes I am serious, and anyways I have something up my sleeve” he looked at me like I was mad. “Cam I don’t care you are not going out there with that” my sister said back to me, “Don’t argue with me, I am not in the mood to be fucked around with” I said to her without emotion, she paused for a moment “Cam we all have lost friends an” I cut her off “I know, and I’m not throwing away my life, I just know how to fight” they all stopped and looked at me “What?” “Well, if you say so Cam” said my brother, “I’ve noticed something, they seem to work with a hive mind mentality, if one of them see’s us they all see us” I said to them “Soooo, we should try and stay out of their sight for as long as possible?” asked Tom “Yes, but, if they see you forget it and run” I replied “Ok let’s do this” POV: Twilight “Uugh...this thing smells so bad” said Rainbow, “I agree, this thing does smell rather bad, and look at its clothes...they are atrocious!” said Rarity with an indignant humph. “Rarity we don’t know what this thing is, maybe it’s meant to smell like this” I said, “Oh my, that would be horrid!” I sighed at this; sometimes her ‘fashion’ sense gets on my nerves, then again my.....behaviours would get on hers. “Well....um....it looks...hurt, maybe we should help it?” Fluttershy said, “Yes I agree, that may be the best course of action” Celestia replied. “Well should be scan its body for injuries?” I asked my mentor, “Yes, roll it over and we will scan it” I rolled the body over, boy was it heavy, and why can’t I use magic on it? “Princess, I can’t use magic on it” she looked at me and towards the creature, her horn started to glow but nothing happened “Hmmm, how interesting, nor can I” she replied. “Sister what sort of creature cannot be affected by magic? All I know are Ursa Major’s, but that is because they are simply too big” said Luna, “Yes this creature seems to be highly resistant to magic....Applejack would you be able to carry him to the medical wing?” Celestia asked. “Uuuuhhh....ok, ah can try” Applejack said a she put the creature on her back, “Umm...do you need any help?” asked Fluttershy. “uuughbro.....ru....ho..mmmuuughh” the creature was having a nightmare, it was easy to tell by the pained look on its face. POV: Cameron “FUCK, RUN!” screamed my brother; the bullets started flying in all directions and bodies started to hit the floor, thankfully none of ours. “Sis, shoot to the left! Em, to the right!” my brother screamed again; he was military trained, which helped us survive these past two years. “Cam, just, stay behind us” he turned to me and looked sad, “I know you loved her, yes you are only young...but I saw it, and I don’t think she would want you to throw your life away” I just looked at him and smirked “I won’t, but, I will get a bit of revenge” he looked at me, scared. We we’re so close to the telepad, we reached it, finally “Sis step up here and shoot from above, aim for the head” I started to strip the pad of its various parts looking for the stabilizers and the wireless link that would get us to wherever it was that this thing led, then I saw it, a case marked 115. “What is in here?” I asked myself while smashing the crate lid open, “Glowing stones....just what I was after”, I tapped a chunk of the stone to a grenade “EVERYONE GET ON THE PAD!” I shouted, everyone reacted by jumping back or turning and running for the pad. “Cam, what the fuck is that?” my sis asked me, “Vengeance” I chucked the grenade, “EVERYONE HOLD ON!” the grenade went off and released the 115 energy, above us the coils started to glow and vibrate, then they lit up and zapped us. After a few second we all ‘landed’ in another pad, but the difference was that rather than mid day, it was midnight, and it was completely silent. “Everyone alright” I asked to the people around me, my brother was first to reply then Ellie, then....”Megan?” I asked. The reply I got was that of a moan, “Fuck me, it’s like a mega hangover” we all laughed. “So.....how long do you think we have before we are attacked?” my brother asked, “Honeslty......I haven’t got a fucking clue, but by the silence I believe they aren’t here...........and if they were they are looong gone” I replied. My sister then stood up, although slowly, and said “Well, we should go looking for supplies, Yes or No?” me and my brother looked at each other and he said “Well we should go in groups of two. Cam Meg, you two go and look for clues as to where we are, me and Ellie will go looking for food and ammo, and whatever you do....don’t die. Deal?” I gave him a mock salute and said “Yerp”, he gave me a blank stare, “God, please look after my bro” he said before walking off. POV: Twilight. “Hoo boy, that thang sure is heavy” said Applejack as she put the creature down on one of the beds in the medical wing. “Ok nurse please see if you can scan it’s body” I asked the nurse with us, “I will try, but as you said it seems to be highly resistant to magic....but.....I am getting a minor image.......oh dear, most of its bones are fractured or cracked, and its left lung is being crushed by a rib” she said, everypony was shocked. “I do not know what sort of creature it is but whatever it went through to continue standing it had to be desperate” said the nurse, Celestia spoke up “Is there anything we can do to help it” the nurse looked sad “I’m afraid not, because I do not know its anatomy....we could end up hurting it more than helping it” somepony cleared there throat and we all looked to who did it, it was Fluttershy “Umm...could we please stop referring to him as an ‘It’, and he said his name was Cameron.....please” “Yes I agree, the least we can do for him is acknowledge his name” said Rarity. Luna walked into the room at this point, seemingly out of nowhere, and said “I have mastered looking into dreams maybe I should enter its mind and see if I can discern whether or not it’s hostile?” said Luna. “Luna, remember what happened last time you looked into somepony else’s nightmare?” said Celestia as Luna grew a sheepish smile “Well that was an accident I know I won’t fail this time, I figured what went wrong and I know what to do now” she replied with a confident smile. “Well, if you say you’ve understood your mistake......Ok do it” said Celestia, Luna smiled with glee “YAY, Ok don’t move me or the cr....Cameron, that could cause our minds to.....well I’m not going to say”, she stood next to ‘Cameron’ and placed her horn on his head. POV: Cameron “I have a pretty good idea that we are in Germany” I said to Megan, “Wanna keep it down Cam” she hissed at me” I started to laugh, and loudly “Sis, they aren’t here, they would of moved on to a fresh food source, and anyways if they were here the teleportation would of alerted them to our presence” I said with a smug grin, “Oh yes, I know my stuff” she laughed, and smiled. It was a nice smile; it reminded me of when everything was good, and safe. “Hey sis” I turned to her, “Yes Cam?” I smiled “When I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary comes to me, speaking words of wisdom....Let it be” she proceeded to sing the next part of the song. By the end of it my brother had joined in from the basement, we could hear him from across the building, Ellie didn’t know the song but we could see she was smiling as they exited the basement. “HAHAHHAHHAHA, man we should do that so much more often” Ellie said, we all were laughing and smiling, my brother started to sing another song “You say you wanna revolution, weeellll you know.....We all wanna change the world”, We sing the next song while sitting on the telepad and eating what little we had left. I stopped and looked around, hmmm something seems out of place.....we’ve got the telepad, lack of zombies, The Beatles.......fields, sunrise.....smoke, meaning a farm, and maybe some leftover food, a purple horse, some tree’s an- WOAH WAIT UP PURPLE HORSE!? I looked back towards where I saw it.......hmmm; Ok maybe I am finally losing my mind. “Cam anyone there?” my sister said to me while poking me in the arm, “Hmmm, oh yeah sorry....I was thinking” she laugh, “Cam.....you need to stop thinking for once, just relax, you said yourself that the ‘zombies’ aren’t here” I sighed, and sat down “Right o then.......keep calm and carry on” I said and smirked. Ellie started to cry, we all looked at her “Hey what’s wrong?” my brother asked, she looked at him and tried to smile, “It’s just that I miss my family” we all stopped and started to think about our families, I thought for a bit before realising, She isn’t actually related to us, she feels left out. I facepalmed hard enough to make everyone stop and look at me, “What, I had an epiphany” I stood up and looked through the bag I had brought with me. “Cam, what are you Ok?” my sister asked me, both Ellie and Tom had concerned looks on their faces, where is it....AHA! I turned around and showed them a gold ring I had found, I put it in my brothers hand and pointed towards Ellie “Tom, do you have anything you want to say to her?” he looked at me and then at Ellie “Ellie w” a scream cut him off, it was Megan’s scream. There is that damn horse again, what is with that thing? Megan had a hand around her left leg, and it was slowly coming out of the ground.....the body joining it, soon after another hand, and another, and another “OH FUCK THEY WERE DORMANT!” I said as I grabbed my brothers combat knife and sliced at the hand around my sisters feet, she got free and I grabbed my revolver before pulling her up and dragging her along behind me as I went for the main hall of the building. This building was probably used during WWII; it was an old castle looking thing, with a central court yard, where the TPP was, and four turrets on each corner of the building. A central main hall and a massive basement, where all the food was stored, and on the fourth floor of the turrets was where the 115 was stored. My sister cried out in pain “Cam please stop, I think it crushed my ankle a bit” I stopped and slung her over my shoulder, being huge is bloody handy, I passed her my revolver “Shoot anything that gets to close behind. TOM, ELLIE! COME ON HURRY UP!” they we’re trapped in between us and the rising zombies, they couldn’t get to us. “CAM JUST FUCKING RUN, WE WILL DISTRACTED THEM AS LONG AS POSSIBLE” he started to load his rifle, “AND FOR FUCK SAKE DONT GIVE UP!” I turned and ran, Megan on my back screaming at me to turn around, my own mind telling me to turn around, my legs telling me, run, run far and fast. There is that fucking purple horse again,  it looks familiar.....oh yeah, that dinner.....wait, that hasn’t happened yet.....wait........I grabbed the revolver from my sisters shaking hands and pointed it at the horse and fired, then at my own head. //-------------------------------------------------------// Naked //-------------------------------------------------------// Naked POV: Twilight “AAAAGGHH” Luna screamed as she reared back, everypony jumped, “SISTER WHAT DID IT DO TO YOU!?” Celestia shouted at Luna, who was crying “He.....he...” she started to cry even harder, then ‘Cameron’ woke up, quite violently as well, Celestia pinned him against the backboard of the bed, using her weight to crush him. “SISTER, STOP!” Luna shouted at her, “Wh-what, but he attacked you?” Celestia said with confusion on her face, “He did not attack me” Luna replied, still shaking “Now please get off him, he cannot breath” Celestia looked down at him, he was clearly in pain being crushed by the weight of the princess, not that she’s fat. The princess hopped off of him, and apologised “I shouldn’t have reacted so badly” she said while looking away. “No...It’s alright, you though I had hurt...your sister, is it?” he asked in a raspy voice, “Oh and could I get some water, that is if you have any” he continued. “Oh, I can ask one of the servants to get you some” Celestia said. “Naw, it’ll take too long” he said as he got up, heading for the basin nearby. Fluttershy flew up to him and pushed him back down, “Uhh, okay?” he said as he tried to get up. “Oh no you don’t, mister” she said as she pushed him back down again. “It’s not like my legs are broken, I can walk quite easily” he said looking annoyed. I took this opportunity to speak up “Actually, your legs are broken”, he looked at me for a moment as if I was crazy. “It’s ok, I will get you some” Fluttershy said as she flew over to the basin and poured some water into a glass, and held it in her hoof. “Ooh, what’s that there?” he said while pointing towards the corner of the room. Everypony looked at the corner, but saw nothing out of the ordinary. “Whatever do you me-“Rarity was cut off as he jumped out of bed and shout ‘FREEDOM’ at the top of his lungs, and then he looked down saw that he was naked. POV: Cameron. I looked at myself for a moment, processing.......processing......done! “AAAAAAAGGGHHHHH! I’M NAKED! WHY AM I NAKED!?” I grabbed the bed sheet and wrapped it around myself. “What is wrong with being naked?” asked the tall white....wait, that’s Celestia...princess of Equestria.....holy fuck! “Yoohoo, anypony hoooome” I saw a bright pink hoof wave in front of my face, and looked up to see ‘Pinkie Pie’ sitting on my head. “Uhhh.....” was all I could manage, they all giggled at me, all except Fluttershy who was looking a little annoyed. “Mister get back in bed right now” she said, while staring at me, “You need your rest” why is she staring at me, it’s sort of creepy. “Why are you staring at me like that, it’s really creepy......especially considering I’m naked” they all gasped, and just stood there gaping like fish, Hokay...a little weird. Oh wow this room is really nice. The room was pretty big, like the size of an entire apartment. There was a massive round bed with dark blue velvety sheets, and huge blue pillows, the roof was a good four metres high and had stars painted on it, that’s a nice touch, there were three doors on to the left of the bed, one to the right, and one directly in front of the bed. I could clearly see that the one to the left of it was a balcony, and by the shadows passing by the one on the right that was the door to.....wherever, so I assumed that the one ahead was a bathroom. There was a small desk to the right of the bed; it had a blue-ish metal lamp on it and a bowl of warm water, on the left was a set of drawers and next to that a closet. Across the room to the right of the ‘bathroom’ was a long bench with fifty plus books on it, they were about mythical creatures and medicine, oh yeah thats riiight they haven’t seen a human before, and to the left was a bunch of pillows thrown about on the floor around a fireplace. “I’m going to tell you all something and it may make you un-comfortable” I said towards them all, it helped snap them out of their daze. “How....did you do that?” Rainbow Dash asked me, almost sounding scared. “Umm, do what?” I asked, more than a little perplexed. “You know broke the stare” she said, still sounding scared, and a little. “The.......stare, what is that?” now I was on the receiving end of the ’crazy’ look, “Uhhhh what? Is this bad?” I asked them. “Uhh, its just ah nopony’s ever been able tha break the stare” said Applejack “And ah’v seen it work on a dragon” I looked at her and thought about it for a bit, this could get awkward maybe I shouldn’t tell them about it....yeah, don’t think about it, don’t think about it, don’t th- “I know” Bollocks! Why did I say that?! “However could you know, you only ‘arrived’ here three days ago” said Rarity, wait, I’ve been asleep for three days!? Holy crap! “Yeah, how could you know about that, are you a spy!?” Rainbow Dash said as she flew into my face, OMG SHE SAID THAT LINE!?! “Oh lordeh! Did you actually just say that?” I asked while smiling, hey there is that purple hor..se.... I saw that she had been crying and walked over to her, “Hey what’s wrong?” she was shaking, maybe shooting someone in a dream hurts them irl? She looked at me and tried to smile, but was still shaking. “After what you’ve been through you are concerned about my health, how can you not be sad about your...brother and his wife?” I stopped, blimey she is really pretty........stop it she is a horse......stoppp ittt brain, “Oh, I see it’s still a sensitive subject....I didn’t mean to pry” wow, she is more than pretty, she is beautiful. “You’re.....beautiful....” wait, did I just.....fod ducking gamnit! She was blushing at this point, “Oh...uhh sorry, I...ummmm” I smiled sheepishly. No, naughty brain, baaaaad thoughts. “Pfffftt BWAAHAHAHAHAAAHAAHHAAHAHAA” ‘Rainbow Dash’ was laughing her head off at the awkward situation and everypony else had a sly look on their faces, Oh God, now I really have bollocksed up. “I am grateful for the compliment but, maybe you should get back in bed, you are very.........damaged, to say the least” said Luna as if nothing had happened, nice save, that could of brought up a shitstorm. “What is a.......’shitstorm’?” asked Twilight, HEY! GET OUT OF MY THOUGHT! She jumped out of her imaginary pants and apologised for reading my thoughts. “I was just curious.......and well.....” she was looking a little sad, HNNNNG HEART FAILURE! “Oh my your heart is failing!?” she looked up concerned, OH GOD TO MUCH A-D’AAAAWWABULNESS!!! She looked confused at first then she blushed “You think I’m ‘adowable’? Really?” she said while everyone giggled or said something under their breath. While they were all giggling I jumped back into the bed, sweet jesus have mercy.....this beeeeed iiiss sooooo goood. “The bed isn’t that good” said Luna “Its only one of the guest rooms in my tower of the castle” said Luna ........................................................BANG! I saw Celestia, Luna and Twilight as well as some other caramel coloured unicorn all jump, “so, now I know who can read my mind, could you please stop, for the safety of your sanity, OH AAAND this bed is utterly magnificent”. “What do you mean ‘for the sake of your sanity’?” asked the caramel coloured one. “Well.........I’ve seen and done..........too many things in my life” I said, on the verge of tears “Sorry, I just haven’t talked to anything in a while” other than myself. “Why not silly, we are all here and there are others like you, she said something about a brother and wife” said ‘Pinkie’ while jumping in front of my face “Ooh ooh ooh, do you like parties, because I like to throw parties and I’m going to throw you one because you seem friendly and nice and some big meanie monster that wants to gobble us up and devour our souls!” she said in one huge breath, Brain.........you there? I need help with this one, Celestia, Luna, Twilight and ‘Carmel’ all giggled “HEY, I said get out of my head” they all looked at me and nodded or mumbled something close to an apology, “Thank you, I just don’t want to hurt you by accident” I said while feeling a bit bad for shouting at them, then shocked at myself because I just told off royalty. I can be a downright prick at times. “Now, sir, it is sir right?” asked ‘Rarity’, I nodded “You said that you had something important to tell us, before, whatever it was that just happened, could you tell us now?” I paused for a moment, Ohh gollygosh, do I really want to tell them about that I know who they are and what they’ve done...........when I put it that way it sounds............nasty, but if I don’t tell them now, it’ll come and bite me on the ass later............oh God, let’s do this “O..kay, I know what you six have done since the day you” I pointed at Twilight “Arrived in Ponyville, all the way up to your brother’s wedding”  they all went silent, Bollocks, I think I broke them. //-------------------------------------------------------// Opening //-------------------------------------------------------// Opening I could hear the hoard behind me, screaming and chasing me, hungering for my flesh. It hurt because I knew that somewhere amongst those things was someone I knew, someone I loved, someone to hug, someone to tell my secrets to......now all gone, destroyed and mutilated. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Two years have passed since the initial..........wave....of these creatures, these abominations, and now I’m fourteen, I remember the day my family asked me to do it, my family’s last words were “Live on a survive, for us.....please”, but today after two years of isolation, I couldn’t, I just could not continue. I was waiting for the teleporter to charge up *ZING* the charge sound resounded above all else, for I knew that salvation lay within the portal system, it was something I saw on a wall of some strange Neo Nazi facility, they were the reason this all started, them and their 115 experiments....HA! Well I bet they’d like to know a 13 year old out did them in weapons design. I ran into the food court of the shopping centre and saw the teleporter glowing, waiting, taunting and on the other side of fifty plus zombies “Fuck!” I shouted. *Zzzzztttt, pop, pop, Zzzttsshwub......CRACK* “Oh yay the stabilizers broke” I hope I end up as a pile of mush, I can’t continue to fight, I said to myself while waiting in God knows where. It was a field seemingly untouched by all the carnage and death, green, lush, warm, and most of all silent, these few seconds of bliss always made me think of what could have been. It always made me laugh and remind me of how much I hated school, but now that was all I wanted, I normal life and maybe a girlfriend.....or two, but I would end up thinking about the multiple deaths I’d seen, both family friends and pets. (------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------) *Poosh* “The next friendship report sister?” Asked Luna “Yes it from Applejack this time” there was a few seconds of pause, then Celestia giggled “Oh what is it sister?” “Oh Applejack, she was right all along as she put it” Luna raised an eyebrow “And this is funny how?” “I’m not really sure, it just sort of is” replied Celestia. Celestia looked up and said “It is time to bring forth the night Luna” at this point Luna looked up and said to nopony in particular “Time seems to fly when you are having fun” “Yes well, it’s a different type of fun you used to have, I think the new guards are considerably luckier than the ones form a thousand years ago” Luna gave her sister a blank stare and said “Whatever do you mean, dear sister?” her voice dripping with sarcasm, Celestia could see where this was going and decided to change the subject “Well it’s about time you raised the Moon” Luna noticed that her sister was trying to avoid the argument, but knew she was right “Yes, fine, I will do it now.......but this is not over” they shared a giggle and hugged for a little before Celestia broke the silence “I think I will invite the Elements over for dinner tomorrow, I haven’t had the chance to talk to Twilight in a while” At this Luna nodded and walked out of the room but not before saying “Don’t try and act innocent, I know you were rougher with the guards than I was.....oh, also, goodnight” Celestia was stunned how could she know about me? The same way I can read your thoughts, sister. The next evening Twilight, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy were sitting at the massive table in the castle dining hall “Twilight, it is so nice to see you again” said Celestia as they nuzzled “Yes it is nice to see you once again, Twilight” said Luna from across the table, “Oh Luna, I didn’t know you would be joining us” said Rarity “If I had known I would of brought along some measuring tools, so I could make you a dress for the Gala, you see I had this won-“ she was abruptly cut off by an orange hoof in her mouth “Rar, I don’t think she wants to be bothered with all your silly frou-frou stuff” Rarity stopped and nodded, then her eyes widened in disgust and she spat out her friends hoof “Oh I do hope you washed that before we left” Rainbow Dash walked over and said “Nope, I was with her the whoooole time, not once did she wash that hoof” giving an evil smirk towards Rarity “Rainbow, you are a worse liar then Applejack” she said giving a flat stare to Rainbow Dash. The food came in and they all sat down eating in almost complete silence, bar the occasional sip of wine or punch. (-------------------------------------------------------------------------------) I looked at my watch and though, Ok another ten seconds, ten.....nine.....eight.....seven.....six....five....Bugger this I am going out with a bang...and a laugh, over the two years I had grown into an eighteen year old, but then seemed to stop ageing, but another strange thing was that I gained the ability to play music if I thought about it enough. Four....Three....Still Alive from Portal starting playing, seemingly from nowhere, I closed my eyes preparing for hell.....one. *ZZZZZTTTTT* “Heeeeyy thhheerrre big booyyy” said a ‘tipsy’ Luna to one of the guards “Luna, leave the poor boy alone, he’s not old enough to withstand your..........whatever you call it” everypony giggled, the alcohol seemed to make everypony lighten up, and this was clearly evident in seeing the princess of the night hitting on one of her royal guards. Suddenly everypony got a deep chill down there spine and a strange fog grew within the room, but the strangest part about the fog was....music emanated from it “This was a triumph. I’m making a note here, HUGE SUCCESS!” said a strangely distorted female voice then static electricity grew from within the fog “Everypony step back!” shouted Celestia, and as she said everypony in the room stood at the edges, looking into the strange fog. The electricity was condensing at the centre of the room and then suddenly it exploded in a flash of light and sound, and after it all cleared away the was a creature standing there holding a sword, there was a thump and many ponies turned towards it to see Fluttershy on the ground unconscious. POV: Twilight. Fluttershy has fainted, great, just great now if we need the elements we can’t use them. Although, this creature seems hurt, it’s got lots of scars it’s bleeding profusely and is.......crying? “Princess, look, it’s crying” I whispered to Celestia, she whispered back “It seems to be under some emotional stress” Luna shouted, using the RCV, “CREATURE WHY DO YOU INTERUPT OUR DINNER!?” the creature slowly raised its head and looked at us one by one, before saying, in a raspy voice “Holy fucking shit” it just stood there, staring. Captain Solar (Guess which guard captain he is) shouted at the creature “How dare you swear in front of royalty!” the creature looked at him and gave him a stare that even from my point of view, made me shake, Captain Solar wet himself and collapse, this time Celestia shouted “Creature why do you attack my citizens!?” the thing replied “I did not attack, I merely looked at the poor sod, it isn’t my fault he soiled himself over it” I heard Rainbow stifle a giggle, the creature then looked at her and raised an eyebrow, she froze right there and it said “Well I’m glad someone has a sense of humour” she visibly relaxed after he said that “What is your name....Pegasus?” she puffed up her chest and flew over to him right in his face and said “Rainbow Dash, fastest flyer in all of equestrian, and don’t you forget it!” he raised his paw and shook Rainbow’s hoof “I don’t believe I will” meanwhile the music was still playing, go ahead and leave me, what is that music?
