"So, these new upgrades will max out my S.P.E.C.I.A.L skills AND open up a whole new range of perks?" The courier asked with a bit of amazement in his voice. "Hmm? ... Oh yes, very much. So, I've taken all of the best tech you brought me and combined it to make a bunch of different super uh... Advanced chip things." Dr. Mobius replied. "Okaaaay ... but why do myself and brain have to be separated?” "Don't question. Science thinking is our department, NOT yours." The brain said with an air of superiority. "Fine, then I guess I'll go kill some robots. Be back in a bit ... and DON'T get high on mentats or go psycho. I DO NOT want to deal with cyborg Cazadors again ... Ever. Got it?" He said as he walked out the door. "So, do you have the stuff?" The disembodied brain asked Dr. Mobius jokingly. The courier had no radio signal, but he had recordings. As he walked he whistled along to "Jingle jangle jingle" Everything went fine for a while, until he encountered a Y-12 trauma suit. He hated them on principle. Keeping corpses alive and still killing people,  but on the other hand He did think they had kick-ass guns. The courier pulled out his Esther and put in a Big Kid Nuke (He hated those suits almost as much as Cazadors). He had his tesla armour that his long-time friend Acade gave him. With the smallest twitch of his index finger, *KABOOM.* He approached it, and kicked it, aiming a light, shining in the darkness at it. It didn't move so he went for it’s gun. [About two hours later] "Well, you made quite the ruckus, didn't you? I heard you used a Big Kid Nuke. Those are hard to find, and one nearly bankrupted us remember?” The brain asked mockingly. "Well, what can I say? Thinking just isn't in my nature.” The courier said, with a smirk spread across his face. The courier and his brain had a long argument about the logic of using that type of mini nuke on a single enemy. It was later broken up by Dr. Mobius. [Some time later] "Okay, so run me through this one more time doc.” The courier said. "Alright, fine. Since you won't stop pestering me. If you recall, I had you piece-by-piece bring my X-8's splicing technology. Well, we’ll splice you with your brain and the implants at the same time. Doesn't it sound wonderful?” Dr. Mobius said. "If you say so. I guess I trust you more than those think-tank assholes.” "Right, let's get a move on then.” The courier stepped into the chamber holding his brain in a mason jar in one hand and the upgrades in the other hand "Yeah… Uh, on second thought I don't like this idea." the courier said "I must agree with my body, and it does not seem as wise now as it did ten minutes ago." the brain said, shocking the courier. (They didn’t agree on much) "Nonsense, this is for science! Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha" Mobius said (and laughed) as he pushed the single giant red blinking button on the console. (Amazingly without arms) There was a bright flash of light laughter and a bit of screaming from the courier's brain. It was a completely cloudless day in Ponyville. Spike was wishing something exciting would happen. Oh how little he knew.
