         uncertain on what to do next i went to zebrafica with gold hunters and came back with 300pounds worth of gold.I did get very sick from the difference in heat. I made the voyage again to the canary islands when we came under siege by Turkish pirates. we fought viciously with powder chests and half-pikes and all sorts of killing tools.

alas we were overwhelmed and with three dead we were obliged to yield. we were then carted away to a port called salle. it was not that bad i did errands and stuff for the diamonddog captain rover. he commonly had me catch fish with him. one knight he told me to go out alone and bring guns to get birds and such.

this when i knew i could escape i stole the boat and sailed away from my master with a young earth pony colt.we sailed directly south by east.when we found land we did not see any ponies but heard terrible sounds of animals barking,roaring,and howling.neither of us could sleep that night. strange animals went into the river all making horrible and hideous cries.

we did not see any savages we did however find fresh water and edible things for us ponies.as  we began to travel up stream we see a lion near were we anchored and in our way i then load two muskets. shooting it's leg and fire the other musket into it's head.

later we find a brazilian seamen offering to by my boat for use on his ship and the colt for work. i allow him to take the boat and colt if he allows me to go to brazil when he returns
