Thunderlane should be proud of being a Wonderbolt cadet, but he knows that in his current state of exhaustion, he wouldn't even be able to blow away the dust from Princess Sparkle's library. Sometimes, he feels like flying away, but deep down he knows he wants to succeed not only for him, but for his brother.

Lightning Dust is an unsociable loose cannon who can't understand when she has crossed somepony's line, and while she may not show it, deep inside she longs to be accepted without the fear of ponies turning their back on her the minute she fails.

Red Thunder appears to be a very stern and aloof pony at first glance, but those who have seen behind the mask, knows it's only a front to drive ponies away from his anger. No matter how many times he may reject others, he still yearns for the possibility of being loved.

Coco Pommel wants to be successful in the world of fashion, but she never found the strength to assert herself when it came to finalizing a deal, and while she may be afraid at first, she's not leaving Ponyville until her name known all throughout Equestria.

All four of these ponies have some sort of wish fulfillment, but in order for their wishes to come true, they must first make it through the storm.

For after every storm, there is sunshine.
