My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic - Thunderbolt Flash's Chronicles

Ah, I'm finally in Ponyvile! - said Flash excited, as he exited the Ponyville Express - It took so long to come here... I might as well trot around for a little bit to get to know this place better.

As Flash took a good look at the things he saw in Ponyville, he saw how cheerful and happy the ponies were.

This might be the perfect place to stay. - Thought Flash to himself.

He continued his examination of the famous Ponyville. He continued to look around, impressed with the town's beauty, but he couldn't find what he wanted to see the most - the Ponyville Clock Tower.

He wanted to ask somepony where it was located, however, there was a small problem that was bothering him: he is incredibly shy to everypony that he meets for the first time!

Luckily, a pink earth pony with a very funny looking mane noticed the yellow pegasus' confusion and decided to go talk to him:

• Hi there! What's your name?

• Uuuuh... U-Ummm... M-my name... is, uh...

• Yes, your name! I mean, you have a name, right? - said the pink pony, also starting to look confused.

• My name's Thunderbolt Flash... But you can just call me Flash... if you want to, that is...

• Flash, huh? That's a very interesting name! Mine's Pinkie Pie! Nice to meet you, Flashy!

• F-Flashy!? - asked the pegasus surprised.

• Yep, that's your nickname! - answered Pinkie Pie radiantly.

• Hmm... All right, then... Nice to meet you, Pinkie Pie!

• Tee hee!

Flash noticed in an instant that he made his first friend ever in Ponyville, and that he wasn't nervous anymore while he talked to the pink mare.

• U-umm, by the way...

• Yes, what is it? - said Pinkie Pie excited.

• Do you know where the Clock Tower is? I'd like to visit it, but I'm a little... disoriented...

• Oh, of course! - replied Pinkie Pie - I can even take you there if you want to!

• R-really? - asked Flash surprised - That would be amazing, thank you so much!

• Hee hee, you're welcome! Just follow me and you'll be there in no time!

The pink mare started to trot foward energetically, leaving some dirt clouds wherever she moved.

Thunderbolt Flash was surprised about the personality of the mare he had just made friends with and started thinking how his life will be from now on.

As he came back to his senses and noticed how bit the distance between the two them was big, he started to trot slowly. Then he decided to run to catch up to her. It took no time at all to catch up to Pinkie Pie, that looked surprised as she noticed how far he ran in only two seconds.

• HOOOLD IT! - shouted Pinkie.

• W-What? Did I do something wrong? I'm so sorry if I did! - replied Flash, both startled and worried.

• No, that's not it! I-It's just that you were over there a few seconds ago, and now you're over here! How did you do that?

• U-Ummm... I... Ran?

Pinkie Pie inhaled some air, as Flash observed her behavior with a worried look in his face.

• That's. INCREDIBLE! I've never seen somepony do that! NEVER!

• It's nothing that special, really.

• Says you! - said Pinkie Pie, more excited than she was before - I think Rainbow Dash has met her match! This is so exciting!

• Rainbow Dash? That name sounds familiar...

Pinkie Pie inhaled once again and said: You don't know Rainbow Dash, Flashy?

• I've heard that name before, but... I've never met her before...

• Then I'll introduce you to her whenever I can, but for now we'll just focus on getting to the tower, all right?

• All right... but first could you tell me what's that enormous tree over there?

• Oh, that's Ponyville's library! My friend Twilight Sparkle lived there once.

Thunderbolt Flash could not believe what he just heard. Not the fact that the giant tree was a librabry, but the fact that one of Ponyville's princesses lived there. Flash studied lots of things when he was little, and one of those things was magic! Despite not being a unicorn, he studied it so he could use it at some point of his life (if he ever got a horn) and to counter powerful spells if it ever was necessary. The first time he heard the name "Twilight Sparkle" was when he heard of Discord's chaos in Ponyville. Ever since Discord was defeated and the word spread everywhere, Flash wondered who was Twilight and what she was like. Hearing those words out of Pinkie Pie's mouth made him speechless and stand still for a few seconds.

• What's wrong? Did you see a ghost or something?

Flash stood still for some time, looking at the ground below his hooves and responded, with his mouth shaking:

• No... It's nothing. I might visit it sometimes! I love reading!

• Hahahah! That sounds like a good idea! Well, let's go! You want to get there, don't you?

• Hahah... Yes, let's go!

The two ran even faster than before, and after a short while they arrived at the tower. Flash looked at the Clock Tower speechless and with his mouth wide open, amazed at his height.

• What's the matter, Flashy? Cat got your tongue?

• A-Amazing... Hey, do you want to take a photo with me?

Pinkie Pie noded and smiled. Flash asked a pony that was nearby to take a photo with his camera, which he gladly accepted.

In no time at all, Flash's first memory of his first day in Ponyville took a physical form...
