"I know you’re in there, Nightmare Moon. Come back to me."
Her voice was like poison. Those words slipped into my head as easy as day turned to night, and every part of me trembled in fear as I felt darkness swell around me. I couldn’t let her pry that darkness into the light again. I just can’t.
"Nightmare…"
Celestia, help me. I don’t want to lose myself again. Not here, not now. I can feel my will slipping, and I don’t know how long I can stand this. All the barriers are breaking down, and I don’t know what to do. I’m holding my hands to my ears, but I can’t seem to block out her words well enough.
"Lose this pathetic facade, Nightmare Moon. This isn’t you. Where is the creature I fell in love with?"
I twitch, and curl up into myself as well as I can in hopes that she will go away and that this situation is just a nightmare in itself. But the darkness within is writhing, waking up, and I don’t think I’m strong enough to hold her back for much longer. Someone, please, help me before I lose myself.
I gasp in pain, and I realize again she doesn’t care that I was trying to hide myself. Her fangs are in the back of my neck, and I can feel her pressed up against me and slip an arm around my waist like this was normal. But to me it isn’t, and as I try to move in protest I find that I can’t move at all.
Just how many times has she bitten me? My body just hurts everywhere. I can feel a sticky wet liquid running down my neck in multiple places, and at my hip where that liquid meets with a chill. I feel overly exposed, my skirt torn up to my hip, and my left shoulder is exposed as I feel her breath against my skin.
Make it stop, somebody… I’m losing this war against myself, and this changeling isn’t helping. Her lips graze my ear, and I feel a flush of heat rush across my face.
"Darling, it’s time to come out to play."
Her voice is toxic, my hand falls from my face and down to the sheets I never realized were there. I can’t feel them. Darkness is fading in around me, I can’t see…
You lost, dear Luna.
No! No! Get out!
Hahaha! You have failed, Luna. And you have failed your sister, again.
She turns her head slowly towards the changeling behind me, and without hesitation presses her lips against the others. Grinning darkly as she pulls back for a brief second, and her hand slips into bluish green hair as she pulls her closer.
"There's the creature I love." A smirk slides across Chrysalis' face, and presses close as she cups Nightmare's face before kissing her deeply.
