Chapter 1:The Penalty Of Death
The market square, which normally would be buzzing with the sounds of apple selling, ponies talking, and all much more. Was now flooded with seven mares trying to wrap themselves up in more than just rags. Snow covered the ground, along with the market stands they were only pouring more snow on the ground. Dark just took enough of what was going on outside.
"Your more than welcome to follow me, but all I need is a drink to spice myself up," he began. Dark threw the door open, letting the cold winter air blow into the tavern. He felt a cold feeling come over him, of course if he had listened to that feeling he wouldn't be here now. He slowly slithered himself into the bar. The small hoof prints that were left in the snow tracks were quickly engulfed ny the passing snow.
Dark glanced around the room to see what was going on in here. The normal things were going on, arm wrestling, beer chugging contests, and finally of course verb attacks. He slowly raced up to the bar stool. He ordered a small scotch drink and of course a quick bite to eat. Dark pulled his rags of his head and mane, his mane was still coated with a thick coating of frost, making it look like he was just inside the crystal empire. A little ping was heard in the direction of the door everyone glanced over there, just in time to see the wonderbolts enter the bar. Everypony got up and saluted, and by everypony, everypony but dark.
"Hey, buddy," began Spitfire. "You think you might be able to move your fat plot off our bar stools?" Dark just didn't listen and continued to finish his drink. "Besides, it might do you some good anyways, Scotch and a muffin? Ha! That is just sad!" She yelled cracking up at her dumb ass joke, the other ponies that were with her started to laugh, only because they didn't want to lose it. Dark just started to mumble, he finished his drink just as Spitfire began to talk again. "You..." she had to pause to piecing herself back together. "Might do you some good to get ammonia out there anyways!" Now she just was being mean, but then she said something that made him stop dead in his tracks. "I mean, it's not like you got anything to live for anyways!" She said that with so much disgust that just to add insult to injury, she spit on him. That was it Dark was not gonna take anymore crap from this mare. He began to mumble again. "What did ya say lad? My hearings kinda bad!" She joked in a old mare's voice.
"I said..." Dark started up again. "Get the buck away from me!" He jerked his hoof in the direction of Spitfire, and next thing he knew part of his hoof was covered with a red, liquid. Ponies around stared at Dark nobody ever hit a Wonderbolt and got away with it, ever. All the guards around Spitfire took their swords out, Spitfire just wiped away the blood before more came out, but then as Dark was sure he was gonna get attacked, Spit began to chocked out words while laughing,
"You got heart their kid, i'll give you that," she laughed. "But, I think me And you know what's going to happen next," she said lowering her hoof to make the guards put their swords away. "So you might want to give up now before," she stated, narrowing her eyes. "It gets ugly." Dark who didn't care tried to walk slowly
