The Life of Galaxy Flare

As far as I remember my life has been a living hell for , but it has been a good one and life is good.
When i was filly my mother was the only true pony that loved me she would tell me she loved me , tuck me in at night and take care of me. When she would say good night she loved me she would close the door and blow a kiss as it was closing, then i would here screams from my mother and the sound of fighting i was scared and feared for my mother and wish i could stand up for her against my ....father. My father was a crude pony and a heartless one at least he used to beat me and my mother i thought every pony family was like this i was a filly damn it i didn't know what was going on i thought it was normal and didn't do anything about it. I love my father ,but i hate him all the same too he works hard to support a family for me, and my mother . One night I heard them fighting and i thought to go see why.....why they are fighting....so i gently creek open the door and go into the living room. My father ,smelt of alcohol he had his hoof up beating my mother I look up at him "daddy whats going on?" next thing i know is he is stomping towards me "Your like you mother a greedy pony asking for money!" he jumps on me hitting me all i can do is cry and sob and wonder what i did wrong. I wake up to the smell of cigarette smoke and my mother is crying. I was always sad for my mother we didn't deserve this ,but she loved me and i loved her that is all that matters. I would wonder why my father hurts us and doesn't love us.
Two months later me and my mother are at the hospital i am sitting there in the doctor's office waiting for my mom to return from the check up room. My mother bursts out of the room too me in tears..."mommy whats wrong?" she forces back the tears"son listen i'm not going to be here much longer i don't fear for me i fear for you........just ...just be strong for mommy okay." I am confused "whats.....whats wrong mommy?" still holding the tears "I have cancer Galaxy and its too late to help me just don't tell your father." I am sobbing the only person who loved me "mommy i love you." walking home *stops* breaks down in tears and hugs me *whispers* "Galaxy ...i love you too baby always remember that and never forget it i will be watching over you from above just stay strong don't give in sweetheart."
She is starting to forget me ........she is losing her memory what will I do with out mommy. "Mommy do you want anything?" *no response* "mommy?' *shakes body* "MOMMY!" "She is gone Galaxy forever!" *turns around in tears* "BRING HER BACK!"
"Can't you little shit now get in your room before you make me mad!" That night I lost somepony i loved very much.
I went to her burial ,we didn't have enough money for a funeral , father never showed up he had to work , he never really showed any emotion towards her death ....."HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT HER HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT ME!" The only people that showed up was one of my mothers friend from her work Mary Light and me and that was it that was all who showed up. Mary walked me home to my apartment in Manehatten , she cared for my mother and knew what my dad does to us. *she hugs me* "I miss your mother Galaxy just...if you ever need me just come and get me." My dad was still at work he works till 8:00 at night its 7:00 he won't be home for an hour. As soon as i got home i laid in my bed sobbing "I can't believe she is gone.....come on stay strong Galaxy!" I fell asleep and then woke up at midnight do to the slam of the apartment door i knew it was him and he was drunk. He breaks through my bedroom door i pretend i'm asleep. He drags me out of bed by my mane "its you fault your mothers dead boy!" he beats me to a pulp and i black out my face is bloody and full of tears *shivering* "Ssssttttaayyy sssstttttrooonng."
Two months later School begins.....I was shy and scared then a pony walked up to me "hello my names Burst Shadow and you are?"
"i'm Galaxy Flare nice to meet you Burst" He was a friend a very good one he was always by my side and walked with me to school.
When i would get home i couldn't wait to see him again. Me and him have yet to get our cutie marks but i don't really care about it i have to much to worry about. I put up with a lot of things i get hit by my father almost every day i cry my self to sleep i miss her so much ,but things are starting to look up i have made a friend a very good one.
8 years later...i am now a stallion me and burst hang out around Manehatten ever night my father well he still comes home drunk and hurts me but i am used to it now. I go over to his apartment across town but it is worth it his parents are the nicest ponies you'll ever meet. They feed me and give me a warm place to sleep and the love and kindness i never got, burst is the best friend a pony could have. We do everything together he helps me with the bully ponies at school and well he is like the brother i never had well im glad he isn't my brother because of my father .
*BANG* *BANG* "Galaxy you are NEVER going back over to your friend burst's house!' *tears up* " NO you can't do that he is all that i have!" *scoffs* "I don't care about your damn friend!" *crying* "I HATE YOU!" *drinks alcohol* he grabs me by the mane and hits me until his heart's content. My head is gashed but my body's fine but my heart, I'm still going over to his house! *looks* at window bolted shut with lock* "CELESTIA what have i done to deserve this please....... just stay strong!" *stomps hoof and grunts*
Next Day...*walking to school* "well..well...well isn't Galaxy hmm?" *i turn around to fined Jule Silver bully of the school* *faint voice* "please leave me alone Jule i just want peace." *laughs* "peace.....this!" *knocks me over* "STOP!" *hits Jule causing bleeding*
*puts hoof on snout* "well this isn't the end Galaxy!" Jule was raised by a bad family too but turned into what i wasn't trying to be but i don't blame him. Where the hell is Burst? "I need to go check on him and tell him i can't come over anymore but we can still hang out." It's going to be alright so i thought....*trots over to Burst's apartment and finds a note on the door* "Dear Galaxy, I'm sorry but we are moving down to Baltimare but we can still be friends oh and don't forget to wright. -Burst *sobbing* "no.....no.....it can't be" *heart broken* "my only friend moved away and forgets all about me." *leaves apartments in tears* "Remember stay strong"*sniffs* "well mom it is pretty fucking hard to stay strong when the odds are not in my favor i mean what in the name of Celestia did i do to deserve all this .....this i lose everybody i care about and i'm about to i'm about to kill myself." no pony would care especially my father*sniffs* NO! *stomps hoof and grunts* Stay damn strong Galaxy.
One year later well another year of this happy go lucky life my dad has finally gone completely insane he threatens to stab me with knives i just say sorry i'm sorry. Well a new mare came to school today Tiara Star and i don't believe in love at first sight but i was in love ,she would never love me back she is very popular and i would never had a chance but that's what i thought until one day in lunch i usually sit alone at a empty table so i see my table so i walk past the popular ponies table and Jule sticks his hoof and trips me with the lunch trey landing on my head and of course every-pony starts laughing until Tiara come by my side "every-pony hush leave him alone* well after that we started sending letters to each other. I asked her if she would want to go to someplace to eat?
I was very doubtful and knew she would say no ,but she said yes and we went on a date.
three days later ....i had to work down at the Manehatten taxi services hard work but i needed money and that's what i did.
"so Galaxy how was your day sweetheart" *thinking* "i haven't been called a sweetheart in along time." *clears throat*
"good Tiara how about you beautiful?" *blushes* "Oh, your so sweet but i had a spectacular day i got to see you!" *blushes*
one hour later ...."thank you for dinner Galaxy" *blushes* "oh it was nothi..." *interrupted by a kiss* *blushes* "ha ha yeah yeah no no problem Tiara." *hugs me* " Bye Galaxy see you at school sweetheart" *Jumps up and down* That day i found someone i love. I need to get home its getting late. *Arrives creeks open apartment door *whispers* "passed out drunk like usual." *opens bedroom door and plops on bed happy*
The next day....walking through the hall and Tiara jumps on back "hmpf ha ha hey beautiful" *blushes* "I loved dinner last night Galaxy your such a sweetheart but i got to got sorry oh and can you come over tonight?" "yeah of course see you the...." interrupted by a kiss again "i love you Tiara" *blushes* "ha-ha i love you too sweetheart see you tonight." She is great i love her i can't wait to see her tonight .
That night......."Galaxy these are my parents!" *stammers* " um hhhiiigghhh." *in deep voice* "hello Galaxy so you do love my daughter?" *stammers once more* *stomps hoof* "yes sir!" *Raises eyebrow* "okay i would say i need to say we need to meet your parents but i work with you Father Mr.Flare." *I gasp* "DO What??" *he raises eyebrow* "oh sorry sir that's wonderful Mr.Star
sir." *he scoffs* "well you kids go have fun." *Tiara hugs him* "thanks daddy....lets go Gal." *i show concern* "Gal hmm i like that beautiful." *she opens mouth" "awwww i love you Gal!" *i chuckle* "I lov......." *She kisses me* *I blush*
Later that night........ "Well i got to get home Tiara i love you." *she pouts* *i take my hoof raise her head* "its okay beautiful" *she smiles* "awww thanks sweetheart..i love y..." * i kiss her mid sentence* *she blushes* "bye beautiful." *walks down walkway*
*hollars* "I love you too!"
Late that night ......"okay im home." *quietly opens door* "SO!" *I'm Surprised* "oh, um dad i'm home." *i sit down* "OH I didn't FUCKING KNOW that now did I oh and i know you have been up at that little whorse house!" *im petrified* "How did you know?" *he looks me in the eye's* "well a fellow co-worker Mr.Star yeah came by asking me question and I Said GET THE FUCK OUT!'
*I Whimper* "Oh, And you break up with her ill do it for you!" *Im holding back tears thing be strong Galaxy* "Fuck you ,dad!" * I run into my room and kick out window* "Get Back here you little shit! *runs into room* "Dad you should have never been a father you are helpless and i am leaving your drunk ass here!" *Smirks* "you know your a useless, money grieving, sorry excuse for a stallion and your not leaving!" *Goes to fix window* *i am crying* "i am a useless excuse for a stallion...hmm well your a USELESS EXCUSE FOR A HUSBAND AND A FATHER!!!!!!!!!!!" *kicks him out the window from the third floor*
Two years later......... "Tiara im off to work beautiful." "okay sweetheart love you and stay strong."
